Before: Two fighters with a reputation for heavy hands and exciting fights square off in a tough one. Bit of an LA gym rivalry between these two has a "real woman, real fights" feel to it. Might not be a marquis match up, but to boxing insiders, it's a significant bout. Ryan in lack bikini, gold strings, black shoes--Debbe in purple bra-style bikini, black shoes.

R1: Debbe takes it to Jeri hard at the open, banging the blonde with tight left/right uppercuts against Jeri's high guard, then reaching down the right side with a batting hook downstairs, Ryan leaning forward behind her mitts--she's hurt early, not punching back Dunning lays down a steady beating--hooks and uppercuts up top break Jeri down, tough straight arm hooks to the body have the blonde cringing. Ryan known for her ability to suck it up, starts banging back late to avoid the shutout in a crowd pleasing first.

R2: Debbe wants more blonde, but ewalks into a pulverizing one-two up the middle as Jeri drops in that Joe Louis right hand off the jab. Dunning wobbly butt, issues the fight's first clinch as she drapes around Jeri in desperate trouble. Ryan bogging down, can't pile on to finish--Dunning gets her legs back and is very effrctive down the stretch. At the bell, it's Dunning getting off with the crisp, heavy alternating uppercuts and booming body shots--Ryan just leaning in to take.

R3,4: Crowd roaring as lanky-limbed sluggers and and beat each other senseless in toe to toe action rounds. Debbe lashing away with lefts and rights, cracking Jeri with 3,4,5 bashing blows as the blonde covers up, then, it's Ryan's turn, ladling in the hurt with slobberknocking side to side punching, punctuated by the odd drilling right hand up the middloe. Girls often cloutred off balance, but keeping it together--elbows are in, fists up, punching is short, vicious, with plenty of leg behind the blows.

R5: Jeri unpacks the jab, punishing Debbe up the middle, freezing thr brunette midring--Ryan ablr to drift in that crashing right hand to the teeth, nearly sitting Dunning down sat the end of the first minute, Once again, Dunning does a wonderful job of clinching, crowding, tieing the blonde up--Ryan frustrated as she can't find thre sweet spot again this round. By the end, Dunning has her legs back, laying in cheek to cheek with Ryan and pounding away to the torso with galloping lefts and rights. Judges like the clean power punching of Ryan early as she pulls ahead slightly after 5.

R6: Ryan starting to build something. She's right in front of Debbe, trading bombs, but the blonde is setting the table with her jab, landing gorgeous head-snapping right hands throughout, and really rattling Dunning with her power. Dunning is lashing back, but her form starts to break down--she's wider with her punches, employing more arm, and she's giving ground after each shattering exchange. Ryan feels it at the bell, making Debbe walk around her to get to the corner, brunette staring at the canvas as blonde tries to force eye contact.

R7: Dunning still pitching--but Ryan the boss in there, walking the brunette down and beating her up in bitter toe to toe trade. After violent clashes upstairs, girls will lean in, but where Dunning looks to cover and rest--Ryan's still getting off, really twisting her hips into licking hooks across the waist, or getting after Dunning's jugs with right uppercuts as the brunette swoons forward. Third round in a row for Ryan as blonde imposes her will on this fight.

R8: Round of the Year, folks. Dunning gets the party started, opening up wildly and engaging Ryan in a mutually destructive series of side to side bombs--both girls leaning in to pull haymakers into one another's jaws and RYAN GETS HURT! Jeri trembling, nearly going down, spills forward into Dunning as the brunette stacks her up with a shoulder block, then clocks the blonde on the way out with sweeping right hands. Jeri out on her feet, swaying, arms pushing mindlessly forward--Dunning heaving in leather from her hips desperate to finish this blonde off! Ryan's head slamming side to side--blonde's legs just won't give way as brunette torques her long body into dreadful blockbuster ounching. Jeri bludgeoned up against the ropes--she leans dreamily forward, stupified. Dunning heartless, resting her chin on Jeri's left shoulder, putting her own left shoulder in the blonde's chest and simply hoisting in punches from underneath--dragging leather up into the body, stepping with Jeri as she stumbles sideways--it's carnage. Down the stretch, Ryan pushes Debbe off, steps away then walks the brunette into a shattering right hand to the pit of the stomach--Dunning gutshot, draping arpund the blonde;s neck as Ryan groggily pushes the brunette up against the ropes in agonizing action. Ruinous, mindless punching from the blonde as Dunning turns sideways to literally hold the top rope--Ryan reaching back and jamming in punches to the belly, lower back, and jaw as Dunning's legs give way. Sensational action continues on after the bell--blonde stupidily pounding away on unresponding brunette meat as the ref jumps in.

R9: Crippled beauties shuffle hurt to mid ring--they in guard on guard, exhausted, and somehow find the will to start pounching. Heavy single shots, each girl stoically accepting her punishment, then digging into the opponent with pump-action punching forehead to forehead, End of the first minute--single shot tit for tat gives way to violent, slinging collisions of punches--girls just standing wide and lashing away and RYAN GOES DOWN! Out of the melee, Debbe beats Jeri to a crashing left hook--blonde spills forward as brunette staggers to the side and it's OVER! Jeri Ryan out on her face--KO9 Debbe Dunning.

After: Heartbreak for Ryan--laid out in a punchers duel she had all but wrapped up he cards. Disasterous 8th round ruined both women--after that, it was simply a matter of heart as neither could follow a fight plan after so much damage. Dunning sobbing in joy with another astounding slugging performance to her credit, renewing her claim to being the sport's most exciting attraction.
