Before: Sour grapes pouring out of Dunning as Ryan/Bell make their entrances: "This fight is everything that's wrong with boxing. I beat the hell out of Ryan, battered her unrecognizable and SHE gets the title shot. And why? Because Cat Bell wants to slap Charlize Theron's face. That rivalry hurts all of us, drags us all in, and it's ruining this division. Look--this is an easy fight for Bell--she knows it, I know it, Charlize knows it. About the only person in the world who doesn't know it is Jeri Ryan and she's about to learn. You can't catch Bell napping thye way you can Charlize--and that's Jeri's only hope is to land another lucky punch. Honestly, I never thought Cat would let petty jealousy lead her to take the easy way out in the ring, but I guess I was wrong." Bell in electric blue bikini, Ryan red bikini, gold strings.

R2: Cat setting up behind that high, spiking jab, routinely spearing Jeri's forehead, stepping to the right, then suddenly dropping a monster right hand on the jaw that has Ryan wobbly butt! Jeri stumbling forward--Cat lights her up with the left uppercut, then puts the right cross ion top to swivel the blonde's head and send her reeling. Ryan hits rope with her right shoulder, hands low, and she fields another blistering right hand on the cheek as Cat takes advantage. Jeri shows the resolve, soaking up bombs, refusing to go down--Cat stays calm, drifting in with a big right hand on the teeth, then bending right to plow the left hand home to Jeri's juicy melons. Ryan shellshocked, staring at the bell as Cat runs up the score.

R3: Jeri remembering to jab with Cat, unleashes that deceptive Joe Louis short right hand on the mouth and CAT goes wobbly butt! Cat swooning, nearly pitching to her face--she's ragged as she bends awkwardly to either side, backpedalling and blocking desperately under sustained punishment from Ryan. Jeri squaring away, using her forearms to press up in at on Cat at thr ropes, then gets after jug with cudgelling side to side swats--big beefy impacts have Bell open-mouthed in stupor, Fight devolves into mindlrss slobberknockier as Cat regains her senses, gloves at her temples, punching with Jeri--both girls pulling blockbuster lefts and rights into one another's chins and jugs at the bell. Ref pushes a weak-kneed Jeri Ryan away as Cat sways hurt on the spot.

R4: Cat showing terrific resiliency, she's back with the high, disciplined guard, pre-empting Jeri with the sticking jab between the eyes, stepping to the left to keep the blonde turning. Whenever Ryan tries to close, Cat gives ground in good order, ringing Jeri up with batting Oscar hooks until blonde stops her advance--then it's back on with the punishing stick up the middle. cat keeping her right hand high and tight, taking no chances as Jeri bends and sets to counter with hooks, but cant get off this round.

R5: Jeri lumping up, swelling badly around both eyes as Cat's merciless jab takes effect. Ryan pressing the action, knows she's getting outclasses, but can't get her feet set or her range right to land that right hand. Bell giving up the odd hook across her rib cage, but in control for the most part, backing Jeri up with the jab, picking the blonde up with the hook.

R6: Sharp, sharp counter punching from Cat Bell--she's just dismantling Jeri this round with accurate, clean touches. Ryan missing over Cat's left shoulder with the right, Bell answering with a step in, rigid little right uppercut on the point of the chin. Ryan's hook is blocked by Cat's high right--Bell stepping in and licking at the boyd and mouth with her own counter hook inside. Jeri visibly breaking down, getting sloppy as Bell continues to make her miss and make her pay. At the bell, Ryan wandering, glassy-eyed. "This fight's over," proclaims Dunning in disgust at ringside.

R7: Jeri hangs back--she's tortured by the can't miss stick., Ryan punches: she's read like a book an counbtered with lethal decisiveness from the champ. Bell so crisp and clean, taking Ryan's left hand on her glove, dipping in and snapping off the short left hand to the mouth inside. Bell slipping juuust inside Ryan's right, gets close and curls a spanking right hand inside to thre sternum or fleshy jugs of her foe, Ryan hurt many, many times this round, stupidly plowing forward, pushing out leather, getting tagged and best up for her trouble. At the bell, Cat stands up straight and allows a groggy Jeri Ryan to stumble helplessly into her.

R8: Crowd moans as one as Bell fakes the hook, rockets over the top with a blistering right that swivels Jeri's head hard to starboard--Ryan's legs give way and she starts to totter backwards, hands down. Cat hopping forward, brushing her jab to keep Jeri occupied, then plowing home another gobsmacking right to drape the blonde at the ropes. Ryan refusing to go down, now being battered senseless and Cat Bell once again reins in, going to the ribcage to continue to work on her foe's ability to wage war. Ryan ransacked up against the ropes, being bludgeoned and worked on, but down the stretch, she starts to lug punches back at Cat--forcing Bell to back off at the break.

R9: Crowd roaring to its feet--a destitute Jeri Ryan trudging on, swinging blind from her hips starts to win the people over with sheer determination, Beol razor-sarp, timing Jeri's strokes, but Ryan's not feeling the jab anymore, her face totally insensitive to further abuse at this point, Ryan starts to land huge clocking lefts and rights, backing Cat up, forcing the brunette to bail and reset her angles. Down the stretch, Ryan has Cat 2 feet from the ropes, blonde besieging brunette with sweeping haymakers to the rubs and chin--Bell getting her head turned, but doing a good job of blocking or ducking most of the murderous asault. Wild applause at the break as a dazed Jeri Ryan wins a round--Bell clearly in shock at her opponent's lust for victory.

R10: Cold, calculating, ruthlessness prevails--Bell gets back on top with the jab, stepping to her right away from Jeri's right, driving her own right hand over Jeri's left shoulder to the chin, or heartlessly down into the ribcage. At one point-- Bell has Jeri staggered from a series of hooks--Cat bouncing thre punch off Jeri's swollen left eye, stepping to the right and tagging the eye again as Ryan dumbly stumbles forward. Brunette shutout closes the chow--classy UD10 Cat Bell.

After: Quintessential Cat--icy execution defeating blonde heart in a fairly one-sided, though spirited, contest. Jeri beaten into a KO daze, simply refusing to give Cat satisfaction--Bell with a warm hug and words of encouragement for her brave foe in the aftermath. "Opposition is everything," says an unimpressed Debbe D, "Catherine looked good against a no-hoper, and we're supposed to fawn? You look at TE in the ring with her now, and you realize they've gotten just as fat, soft and self-congratulatory as the Krushers, Corruption in inevitable in this game and you're seeing it now with the selling out of Catherine Bell. Don't believe the hype, fans." Wow--bitter.
