Lisa is back in the ring again, and not happy to face debutante Kelly Rowland, a girl who may have potential, but who should perhaps be fighting lesser lights at this stage of her career. Kelly has not yet been admitted to FCBA, and is not a BBU meber either, so is fighting as an independent in the same way as the German actress Jessica Schwarz.

Kelly enters the ring first, looking good in her black bikini, with Lisa soon following her, in a pale blue bikini - the girls do not exchange pleasantries.

Round 1

Lisa comes out like a girl in a hurry, stabbing some crisp left jabs into Kelly's face, but the American rookie is unconcerned, using her long reach to keep the feisty Lisa at bay, and she lands a couple of her own jabs, plus a following up left hook to the Brit's jaw, which has her backing off. Lisa has been rocked by that punch, but she comes back strongly, jabbing Kelly, then slipping a right hook into her body to have the American backing off by the bell.

Round 2

Again, Lisa is a little quicker into the attack when the girls resume, her left jab getting through to the slightly taller Kelly, who is showing her inexperience by trading with the Brit, who is looking to hurt her to the body with some arcing hooks. After taking Lisa's best shots to her flanks, Kelly seems to be grinning, then she jabs Lisa four times in a hurry with her right lead, and she has Lisa holding on as the round drifts into the final minute, Lisa finding it hard to stop the taller girl from smacking those accurate punches into her face, and she takes another hard left hook to the side of her head late in the round, which has her stumbling.

Tight again, but Kelly landed better shots

Round 3

Kelly's a little speedier this round, and she has that awkward right jab on the move, smacking it into Lisa's face, and the British girl is starting to take rather more punches than she's landing here, with Kelly at last using her height and reach. Lisa carries her gloves nice and high, but Kelly's getting between her gloves with that spearing jab, and Lisa finds her head being continually knocked backwards, seeming a little reluctant to mix too much with the American, who then wipes two good left hooks into Lisa's tits, making her squeal, then hurting her to the mouth with her right jab again by the bell.

Round 4

Blinking hard, Lisa is trying to speed her legs up again now, but it's tough when your opponent seems to be finding it easy to punch your face, and that's just what Kelly's doing in this round, battering Lisa to the face with a heavy volley of punches. Lisa clinches and holds as much as she can, but Kelly's strong, too, and she's landing to the Brit's body from short range, little gasps telling her she's hurting her. Late in the round, Lisa tries to bump a couple of punches into Kelly's torso as the girl seems to be slowing down, but she gets creamed by a left hook to the mouth which almost floors her.

Round 5

It's a swollen-faced Lisa who plods out for the fifth, and Kelly is soon handing her some more punishment, batting her again and again with that right jab, a stinging punch which is gradually taking it's toll on Lisa, lumping up her cheek, and closing her left eye. Now Kelly hurts Lisa to the body with a left hook, and another, then she throws a big right to the head, connects with Lisa somewhere around the top of her head, which drops the Brit to the canvas, but makes Kelly squeak, too - she mistimed the punch and she's hurt her hand or arm. Lisa is on her feet at 7, seemingly unaware of Kelly's discomfort, and looking surprised that the tall girl isn't going for the knockout.

Round 6

Despite the face that she's virtually fighting on one eye, Lisa takes the fight to Kelly in the early seconds, knowing that the American has no power in that right hand, and struggling to change her stance from southpaw yo orthodox to protect it. Lisa lamps her punches into Kelly's body now, beginning to take the girl to task, ahile Kelly just sticks out her left arm rather hopefully, not able to land any good shots, and she gets caught to the mouth with Lisa's left, right combination punches, getting hurt.

Round 7

Gaining confidence, Lisa moves swiftly across the ring once more, while Kelly seems to be lying in wait, and, once Lisa gets into range, she cuffs her in the face with her remaining left hand, the hooks she throws smacking hard into Lisa's face, then the American follows up to her body, forcing Lisa to hold. After the girls are broken, Kelly risks a right hand punch, which clearly hurts her as she winces in pain, but which hurts Lisa, too, landing smack on that eye, and Lisa's down again, on her knees and trying to focus. On her feet at 6, Lisa is content to last out the round, and Kelly decides not to risk that right hand again.

Kelly wins a stunning round

Round 8

Kelly is the girl who now seems quicker on her feet, and she's able to hold off Lisa's increasingly feeble attempts to draw her into a brawl, and she is actually doing better with one arm than Lisa is with one eye. In fact, Lisa's defence is shot, and Kelly's left hand punches are more than enough for her to cope with, as she can't really see them coming, just knows about it when they land. By the end of the round, Kelly's risking her right hand again, seeming to be in less pain, and belting Lisa's now mis-shapen features pretty hard.

Round 9

Kelly hurts Lisa yet again in the early seconds of the round, landing hard punches to her face once more, and Lisa is on the ropes, getting a beating from the American, body first, then face, and she gets knocked back against the ropes with yet another right jab, takes a left to the ribs, then to the jaw, and she's down again, sliding down the ropes and on her ass, rolling over and hurt. Panting, Kelly watches Lisa get to her feet, beating the count at 8, but she's pretty tired herself, and doesn't follow in as she could, preferring to let the Brit clinch and hang on, waiting for her chance to finish the girl off, but it doesn't happen just yet,

Round 10

Kelly could just finish Lisa off here, but she hasn't got the energy, and she has to content herself with just turning herself around and boxing the Brit like an orthodox, just using her left hand, jabbing the girl's face with it, protecting her damaged right hand again. Poor Lisa's been almost blinded by Kelly's punching, her left eye shut tight, and her right eye on it's way, and she simply lasts the round out, knowing she's lost badly, but at least it'll just show on her record that she went the distance, and by the bell she's just leaning on Kelly, using the American to stay upright.

No surprise at the result - Kelly Rowland beat Lisa Maffia on points - a huge margin

What a debut for Kelly, battering the former BBU champion, and staking her claim for a full FCBA placement
