Both fighters seem tense in pre-fight interviews. Christina Ricci fielding questions about the dissolving of her RiRY Boxing group and how being independent.

“It was a mutual decision with Winona Ryder due to circumstances neither of us could control. I am sorry the group is gone and I’ll miss having those girls around, but seriously, I was on my own before. I’ll be fine. Really. I’ll be just fine. Say, how about someone asking me why I am fighting Sarah Carter? Good. I am fighting her because even though Nat Portland knocked her block off, she’s still a dangerous opponent and my beating her could help me establish myself as an independent fighter. Big risk, but the potential of a big gain. It’s as simple as that.”

As for Sarah Carter, she is still trying to explain away her knockout loss to Natalie Portman and if this (plus her post-fight ordeal at the hands of the HISC Wolf Pack) has effected her career. Never exactly warm with the press, Sarah grows sullen at the repeated questions.

“ The Portman fight is the past,” Sarah growls, “Christina is my opponent tonight. I’m concentrating on eliminating her as a potential threat. Then I’ll move on from there.”

Sarah comes to the ring a red and brown Foxfire bikini (one difference in addition to the gold FF logo on her right hip, Sarah’s as an additional gold SC logo on her left hip.). Christina appears in a black bandeau bikini, small black workout gloves for both ladies.
Sarah has her hair pulled back into double pigtails, while Christina’s hair is short ‘do with bangs.

During R1: Fight gets off to a slow start as both warily circle each other, cautiously flicking out the occasional exploratory punch. However Sarah Carter picks up the pace, almost dancing around Ricci who looks plodding trying to keep up with her. Sarah looking much more athletic as now starts landing punches, shaking Ricci to the body and knocking her head from one side to the other. Chrissy trying, but her big punches keep missing as Sarah bobs and weaves, then knocks Ricci back with effective counter punches. Ricci growing obviously frustrated and gets reckless as she rushes trying to launch a haymaker of a right uppercut. Sarah moves aide and the punch sweeps by. Then she strikes back with a quick left/right combination to Chris’ head and DOWN GOES RICCI! Christina finds herself flat on her back, a dazed look on her face and she lucky to be able to beat the count by getting to her feet just ahead of the 10-count.

R2: Sarah Carter comes out grinning cockily and approaches Christina in a loose, careless fashion, gloves at her tummy. Ricci who had come out cautious seems infuriated by this lack of respect and leaps forward smashing a flurry of quick lefts and rights into Sarah’s surprised face. The Foxfire blonde forced to hastily cover up, gloves at temple while Ricci pounds away at her. However after Sarah clinches to force a break, Carter goes back to work. Ricci’s punching, though exciting to look at, just doesn’t seem to have done much damage. Sarah uses a sharp, accurate jab to get back in control and lump up Christina’s face by the time the round ends. Christina looks a bit wobbly legged as she heads for her corner and Sarah’s confident smile returns.

R3: Sarah still smiling at the start of the round, but this time she approaches Christina in a more alert and determined fashion. As soon as they get close enough, Carter starts firing a rapid fire series of punches to head and body. Christina’s defenses are saturated and the only she can do against the onslaught is to hold and clinch. Unfortunately, the respite is a brief one, as right after the break, Carter resumes the attack. Looping lefts and rights over Ricci’s faltering high guard smash over and over into Christina’s already swollen face. Chrissy crashed on her butt and then swoons onto her back, arms spread wide. Ref moves in to count, but this time Christina barely moves and it is OVER! Sarah Carter wins in a KO3.

After: Sarah smiling happily at her return to the winner’s circle. As soon as Christina is brought around, she finds herself scooped up by Sarah and taken for long walk of shame. Sarah careful to stop at each turnbuckle and force Ricci to stand there while she mounts the ring ropes and poses over her, one hand in Chrissy’s hair and the other thrust skyward in victory. Looks like Sarah’s gotten over the Natalie Portman fight. Question is: will Christina Ricci get over this latest setback
