The former BBU welterweight champion Kelli takes on the German actress Jessica first up, in what promises to be a hard fight between two punchers.

First into the ring is Jessica, looking good in her red bikini, soon to be joined by Kelli, a meatier girl, dressed in a white one piece outfit tonight.

Round 1

The girls go at each other right from the bell, neither of them thinking of defence, just swapping thudding punches in each other’s face for the early part of the round, with Kelli taking the upper hand and getting the German backtracking, knocking her backwards with a good right hook to the jaw, then hurting her to the body with a couple of shots. Jessica holds and clinches skilfully, not allowing Kelli the room to land anything more, and she gets some punches of her own off later in the round, nice shots to Kelli’s face, popping the singer backwards.

Round 2

Jessica gets caught a little cold in the second, with Kelli quickly into action again, clubbing a couple of lefts into the actress’s body, pushing her to the ropes with her right glove, keeping her there with a little combination to the face, she then gets her to the body again, sees her opening, then puts Jessica down with a left hook to the cheek, the older girl, on her knees, shaking her head to clear it, and up again at 6. Kelli gives Jessica no respite, and she moves her around the ring well, cuffing her to the face, a trickle of blood seeping from the German’s nose, and the singer has her girl retreating by the bell.

Round 3

Kelli’s still looking confident, but she can’t keep up the pace of the first two rounds, and is very much taking a breather in the early part of the round, unable to press on from that knockdown. Jessica is able to gather herself, smacking some of her neat punches into the Brit’s face, doing her best to increase the tempo, trying to tire the big girl out. The round ends with Kelli landing to Jessica’s body again, though, and the actress seems pleased to get through the round.

Round 4

Definitely becoming more laboured about the ring, Kelli is now getting caught hard and often by the surprisingly mobile Jessica, who is finding her range and her confidence, focussing on the Brit’s head, she just cuffs her again and again with her wide hooking punches, and Kelli begins to wobble a little. Jessica sinks a good left hand punch into Kelli’s belly, and the big singer gasps, taking another before she can clinch, leaning on Jessica and looking to tire her out by grabbing and wrestling her, no longer keen to trade punches, her mouth looking a little swollen.

Round 5

This time it’s Kelli who gets caught napping, as Jessica smacks her left glove nice and hard into the singer’s mouth, her head being snapped backwards with each blow, then she right hooks her to the side of her head, and Kelli goes down, on her side on the canvas and groaning, slowly rising at 7. Jessica is soon rapping punches into Kelli’s body when she gets up, has the singer staggering, then bounces two good right hand shots off the Brit’s jaw, sending her tumbling for a second time, the singer scrambling to her knees, then her feet at 8, but she gets hurt again in the closing seconds as Jessica pounds her body.

Round 6

Kelli’s a tough cookie, and she starts to take the fight back to Jessica as the round starts, surprising the German and making her clinch and hold, needing to spoil to keep in there. Kelli senses that Jessica is running out of steam, and she thuds two solid left hooks into her ribs, making the older girl gasp. Try as she might, though, Kelli can’t land anything solid to Jessica’s face, and the actress survives the round, even managing to cuff Kelli’s face with three sharp shots at the close.

Round 7

Jessica, breathing hard, is first to land punches in the seventh, and Kelli isn’t offering much back, just swaying and trying to keep away. But the actress is persistent, and she lands two, three good shots to Kelli’s right cheek, then gets her to the body with her right, another couple of lefts to the face - Kelli wobbles – Jessica unloads to her body again, and Kelli crumbles and is on her knees, gulping air and wincing. Kelli’s up at 7, but she’s hurt, and Jessica takes her to the ropes to bump some more punches into her ribcage.

Round 8

Both girls look weary, but Kelli just isn’t able to throw any leather at Jessica’s face now, finding that the actress is very much working through the gears, softening her up again to the body in the early part of the round, before moving up and smacking punches into her rapidly swelling face. All Kelli can do is absorb the punishment, clinch, spoil, and hope Jessica makes a mistake. Sadly for Kelli, it doesn’t happen, and she looks a sorry state at the bell.

Round 9

The fight goes on, and it’s more of the same, with Jessica punching Kelli to a virtual standstill with yet another assault on her body, she then crunches a left hook into the singer’s jaw, putting her back on the canvas. Kelli somehow beats the count, but she’s swaying and the referee calls a halt.

That was a good win for Jessica, who showed she can take punishment as well as dish it out. As for Kelli? She’s disappointed, but she lost to a better girl on the night, and she’ll be back.
