At bantamweight the lovely Alesha takes on young American starlet Jennifer, the blonde girl looking for a win, but Alesha really needing one.

Alesha looks as gorgeous as ever, wearing a pale green bra and panties set, whilst the equally impressive young American is wearing a pale blue bikini.

Round 1

Both girls look to start the fight quickly, and they exchange sharp jabs mid-ring right from the bell, with Alesha seeming to land the more accurate shots, Jennifer having her head jolted backwards at an early stage. Alesha seems to be enjoying herself, picking the youngster off, and moving her steadily back to the ropes, but Jen has other ideas, and she flicks a neat combination to Alesha’s face, thuds a solid left hook into her ribs, then rips a right to her jaw, and Dixon goes down, on her butt and disorganised, stumbling to her feet at 7 and hanging on til the bell, taking a couple more solid shots to the body.

Round 2

Alesha still looks a little shaky as the girls resume, so Jen takes it to her! The 21 year old blonde is giving Alesha a beating now, pushing her around the ring, slamming punches into the singer’s body and really hurting her. Alesha tries to cover up, bending forwards with her gloves upside her face, but the kid’s landing a lot of shots here, and bangs the Brit’s face with two good left jabs, then there’s the right to the jaw again, and again, and Alesha is floored for a second time, put on her back and just about up at 8. Jennifer’s got time to finish this in this round, and she hurts Dixon again to the body, tries to set her up on the ropes, but Alesha holds and clinches, successfully running the clock down.

Round 3

A swollen faced Alesha looks none to keen to resume in the third, and she is soon on the receiving end of another barrage from the American, just about all head punches this time, with the singer blocking some, but not all with defensive gloves. Jen’s showing her inexperience here, though, and she gets caught with a combination from Dixon tries to duck, then gets a heavy left hand in the eye, which has her reeling, and now Lawrence is defending, her back to the ropes, and hurt as the older girl works to her eye, spotting the weakness, the round ending with Jen in tears.

Round 4

Jennifer’s eye is clearly causing her problems now, as she tries to focus on the agile Alesha, the singer a bit of a blur to her as she smacks jabs relentlessly into her face, especially that eye, with the blonde not sure how to combat her, her instincts telling her to fight back, and she is still getting through to the Brit. In the closing seconds of the round, Alesha finally has Jen worked into a corner, and she stands her up with a nice uppercut, hits her to that eye again, and, as Jen’s face gets turned away, it’s clear to see that she’s been cut – not a bad cut, but it’s her left eyebrow, and that gives the corner something to work on.

Round 5

Alesha is spurred on by the sight of Jennifer’s damaged face, but she’s still cautious, her own pretty face showing the bruises from that early barrage from the youngster, so she carries on with her jab and move tactics, not risking a trade of punches, biding her time, and waiting for the blonde to crack. Jen’s taking a breather too, the cut not bothering her too much, and she’s confident enough to cuff Dixon to the body when the older girl slows a little in the later stages of the round.

Round 6

It’s more of the same in the sixth, as Alesha works her way around the ring, burning a lot of energy though as Jennifer stays in the centre, getting caught a little more regularly this time, though, and the blood’s beginning to dribble down her cheek from that cut eyebrow. Alesha has an accurate jab, and she’s clipping Jen’s eye at will, with the kid now having more difficulty, turning her stance as much as she can to keep the damaged side of her face out of range.

Round 7

Jennifer takes the fight to Alesha in the early part of the round, landing nicely to the Brit’s ribs and making her cover up on the ropes, then Jen’s getting a nice combination into the older girl’s face, but she’s off balance and gets turned, swaying slightly as she feels the rope on her back, and Alesha catches her to the mouth with a good left, not the hardest punch she’s thrown, but it puts Jennifer on her knees for a 6 count. As the round wears on, Alesha manages to pump a few more good punches into Jennifer’s face, but when she drops her attack to the blonde’s body, she gets caught again herself, a right hook sending her spinning to the ropes in a final flurry.

Round 8

Still Alesha bobs, weaves and jabs her way around the ring, probably landing punches in a 3 to 1 ratio against the weary looking blonde, who just isn’t finding the moving target easy to hit. Once again, Jen shows her lack of experience, chases after the singer to try clubbing her to the body, but she just eats a left, right combination and hits the floor again, this time on her back, clambering up at 8. The youngster’s a fairly static target for the remainder of the round, just doing enough to discomfort Alesha with a few body shots when the Brit gets too close.

Round 9

The action is getting noticeably slower now, and Jennifer is really struggling as she gets smacked in the eye again, the cut still dribbling blood down her cheek. Although she still has enough power in her punches to Alesha’s body to stop the singer coming in close, she probably needa a knockout to register a win, and the Brit knows it, too, so she dances and skips for as long as her legs will let her, not pressing for the victory herself despite the two recent knockdowns, and she’s the girl taking punishment by the end of the round, on the ropes and getting thumped to the body.

Round 10

Alesha starts the round well, trying to keep on her toes and jab the rather plodding Jennifer, but the American is standing her ground well, and she rams some heavy punches into the singer’s body, beginning to take control of the round as the older girl tires and weakens. Dixon’s content to hang on in there, her legs beginning to wobble, and the referee is having to work hard to pull the girls apart. Into the final minute of the fight, and Jennifer launches a huge attack, slamming punches into Alesha’s ribs and belly, the girl squealing in pain, she then gets her to the mouth with aright hook again, and Dixon hits the canvas, just beating the count at 9, and there’s only enough time for Jennifer to hit her twice more before the fight ends.

Alesha Dixon is awarded a points victory of Jennifer Lawrence – All three judges gave her the verdict, but each of them by just one point.

At least Alesha won, but Jennifer gave her a hard fight, and both girls can be pleased with the effort they put in.
