The double BBU champion Sabrina is arrogantly looking beyond this fight, showing no respect for Carrie as her war of words with Taylor Swift has raged on, and she may regret that if the shapely blonde in front of her tonight manages to concentrate.

Carrie looks gorgeous in her white bikini, with the more muscular Sabrina wearing a dark green one-piece outfit which looks more like a combat outfit than a boxing kit – is that significant?

Round 1

Sabrina comes out of her corner like a mad woman, throwing punches from all angles into Carrie’s body and head, and she has the girl hurt within seconds, flooring her inside a minute with a clubbing left hook. Carrie gets up at 8, but she’s drowsy already, and she can only resist by holding and clinging to the singer, just spoiling at every opportunity and waiting for the bell for respite.

Round 2

This fight is turning into a horror show for Carrie as Sabrina wades into her again from the bell, the blonde’s defences shot away as she flails aimlessly, her legs shuddering backwards as those punches land to her body. Again, all Carrie can do is try to hold and spoil, but Sabrina is not to be denied, and she hurts the American with two, three shots to the rack, then picks her spot and rips a left hook to the glamour girls cheek, dropping her to the canvas again. Carrie could be forgiven for staying down, but she hauls herself vertical at 8, only to be greeted by a flurry of shots to her ribs, and she clinches when Sabrina steps up close enough, holding on til the bell.

Round 3

Carrie looks fairly fragile now, stumbling rather than gliding across the canvas, the American again has to take a couple of heavy punches to the ribs, and she’s gradually folding forwards, her arms dropping, and Sabrina catches her again to the body – a quick one two to the stomach this time, Carrie slumping to the canvas, face down, groaning and never looking like getting back up.

That was an awesome display of power by the British champion, leaving a weeping Prejean wondering why she came to Ireland. Taylor Swift had better beware!
