Eddie: Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen. Before we get to the Main Event, we are very fortunate to have two of the greatest FCBA fighters of all time here with us. Please make very welcome to centre ring, Jennifer Garner and Catherine Bell.
(wild applause)
Eddie: Ladies you have both held the FCBA Lightweight Championships, Jen you as recently as March this year, what goes through your mind before a big fight like this?
Garner: Everything that you have planned for, prepared for and trained for, I guess you go over all of that. Soak up the atmosphere as much as you can and use the emotion of the crowd in your favour. But you’ve got to stay focused. It’s tough.
Eddie: And you Catherine, you’re a Tractorpull Magazine Hall of Famer, with almost a dozen title defenses in this division, does it ever get any easier coming out for these big fights?
Cat Bell: It doesn’t Eddie. It’s a different opponent everytime. People have similar styles but everyone is so unique that you just cannot prepare the same way for each fight. So in that sense it doesn’t get any easier. It does become a job though when you’ve successfully defended as many times as I have and you just have to get out there and do it, and give your all.
Eddie: And first of all to you Jen, some thoughts on what you have seen tonight and also a prediction for the main event tonight?
Garner: Brutal, absolutely brutal. I cannot believe these girls are from the same stable. Really looking forward to some of these girls making it in the FCBA. I hope I get to fight a few of them.
Eddie: And the main event?
Garner: You know I have not seen Jennifer fight before so it is a little hard for me to comment but her record in the AWUBA is amazing. Abbie is an up and comer who I have seen fight in the FCBA and I think she is due a win but I haven’t got much to go off Eddie. I’ll tip Abbie by decision.
Eddie: Catherine?
Cat Bell: I was fortunate to see Jennifer beat Renee Wauhop to win the title 6 weeks ago and she has quick hands. I know Abbie really well, and I love her to death but I think Jennifer might just be too much for her tonight.
Eddie: Well ladies thank you very much for offering up your time tonight. Both Jen and Cat will be offering special comments during the commentary tonight. Please thank Jennifer Garner and Catherine Bell!!
