BBU BOUT: Kear's Kats vs Foxfire Boxing
Posted by Kear (Result by Knowlesey) on 9/1/2011, 7:50 am
Georgie: Well, these two have exchanged a few insults, so what do you make of that?
Alex: Stupid of Amy! This is her ring debut. She’s up against a classy, experienced fighter, and she irritates her! Laura is pretty much certain to win this anyway, and Amy may end up looking silly tonight!
Georgie: Last time I saw Laura, she had Lisa Maffia on a dog-leash! D’you think she’ll do the same to Amy?
Alex: Who can say? Hope not, though! Let’s rejoin Charlotte Jackson.
“Well these two are really giving each other the stare, I can tell you. And boy are they getting the stare from the fans, too! They are both stunning! And they know it! Off we go – first round:
Laura’s taunting Amy, jabbing her, then inviting her to try her luck, but when she does, she’s missing the target, and Laura’s now knocking her around, left and right hand punches spanking into Amy’s face, her defence nowhere to be seen. Wow! Amy’s fighting back! Good shot into Laura’s belly, and now she wipes punches all over the blonde girl’s body, and they’re good hits, too, Laura getting a little too cocky, and now she’s paying the penalty with the Essex Girl pushing her round the ring, but she needs to get some punches to the girl’s face, too, and Laura’s defending herself neatly, albeit that she took a pounding from the rookie in that round, which has just ended – and they still give each other the eye!
Amy’s pretty mouthy on her stool, but she must listen to instructions – that’s only one round gone! Here’s the second:
Amy’s getting stuck in again – good girl – but Laura’s finding her range again now, and she’s stabbing that hard left jab right between Amy’s gloves, right into her face, and the girl’s not looking so glam now – she’s got blood on her lips and coming outa her nose, with Laura now beginning to go to town on her, following up now with her booming right hooks, and she’s hurt her there, really hurt the Essex Girl with that punch to her midsection, and another – she’s punishing Amy now, teaching her a lesson, I think, setting her up on the ropes, slowly but surely wearing the kid down, aww, that’s a lovely punch from Laura, smack on Amy’s left eye, and the kid’s got turned around, slumping over the ropes – will Laura finish her off? No! She stands off, and lets Amy last the round – nasty, Laura, you coulda knocked her out!
I’m looking at Amy in her corner, and she’s looking bad – really mashed up to the lips, and her left cheek is just a big swelling bruise – she’ll do well to last much longer, but here we go in three:
Laura’s taunting Amy again, inviting her to punch her to the body – oh Amy falls for it, and she’s getting another pasting, Laura really teeing off on her there, smacking the kid’s face from side to side – big right hand again, and Amy’s on the floor, shaking her head as she lays there, but she gets up, Laura still taunting her, yeah, she’s up at 7 and ready. Laura’s just showboating now, giving the fans a display of her disco dancing as she skips round Amy, now she hits her again, right in the ole stomach with that one, and another! Amy’s taking some real stick out there, and she’s back against the ropes again, with Laura bouncing and punching, every blow sending a little spray of sweat and blood off Amy’s face – but she’s still in there at the end of round 3.
Yeah, I thought so, Amy’s cut to the left eye – can’t see where, but somewhere in the brow, and she’s grazed to both cheeks, too – she’ll remember this night for a while, I think, and it’s not over, cos there’s the bell for round number four:
I’m not sure how much Amy can really do here – she’s being worked over again from the bell, Laura just cracking the kid’s head back and forth, and she’s floored her again – right hook to the cheek – and Laura’s beckoning the girl to get up, laughing as she scrambles to her feet at 8. Come on ref, stop this carnage! Laura’s shouting at Amy, “Say sorry! Say sorry!” But Amy’s not really with it any more, and that’s another peach of a right hand from Laura – Amy’s down again, lights out this time, folks – she isn’t getting up from that!
Laura Vandervoort knocked Amy Childs out in round 4.
That was about as one-sided as most of us expected – Amy was nowhere near good enough, but I tell you what – she’s brave! Back to the studio.
Alex: Thanks Charlotte – well that was a total humiliation for Amy Childs tonight, eh Georgie?
Georgie: I don’t agree with that – she was on a hiding to nothing – but yeah, it was a helluva beating for her to take. I hope Laura hangs around in the UK for a while – I’d like to see her step into the ring with the likes of Alesha Dixon or Rochelle Wiseman before FCBA resumes later in the year.
