The opening fight of the Lioness Club second event features Jeanette Biedermann - making her BBU debut tonight and veteran Nikki Sanderson. The fight is scheduled for eight rounds in the flyweight division.

Lioness Club Director of Communications Kate Garraway conducts the pre-fight interviews with both girls:
Kate Garraway: First up we have Nikki Sanderson. Nikki, I understand you're looking to improve your record that has deteriorated after losing three of your last four fights.
Nikki Sanderson: Yes, Kate, that's my target. I'm honoured to be invited into the Lioness Club event, but I have some bad news for their stable. I'm gonna knock this stupid blonde out. She's making her debut and I don't think she's ready for what I have in store for her!

Kate: Thanks, Nikki. You sound pretty confident. Now let's talk to Jeanette Biedermann. Hey girl, what are the chances of winning your maiden fight tonight?

Jeanette Biedermann: This may surprise some people but I think they are pretty big. The Lioness Club has supported me before my debut and I hope the crowd get behind me as well. This Sanderson girl has suffered some painful losses lately and I'm gonna give her another one

Round 1:
Encouraging start for Biedermann who steps forward and forces Sanderson along the ropes. She delivers some quick combination and traps her rival in the corner. Nikki guards well though and most of the German's punches are ineffective. However Jeanette looks to continue her attack and Nikki clinches her before pushing away to center of the ring. Still, Jeanette is making all the effort with more hooks and swings coming at Sanderson. Once again Jeanette traps her rival in the corner and finally catches Nikki in the midsection. A loud moan is being heard from Nikki, she surely felt that one. However she avoids further trouble and clinches well until the bell sounds at the end of the round. Biedermann clearly takes the opening round.

Round 2:
The first round has set a tone for the next one as Jeanette comes out aggressively again and catches Nikki with a wild hook that just skims off the English girl's nose. Jeanette jumps on her rival and pushes her back into the corner where she unleashes further jabs that catch Nikki in the ribs. Sanderson tries to respond and clinches with the German before finally punching her in the ribs as well. Referee separates the girls but soon afterwards Jeanette tries another swing that goes wide of Nikki's head and gets caught with a big uppecut instead. That was a good hit from Nikki and Biedermann looks winded. Nikki goes for the follow up and hassles her rival back to opposite corner where she finally produces a fine combination that forces the German to raise her guard and subsequently clinch. Nikki jabs few more times until the round is concluded.

Round 3:
Despite a poor end of the previous round Jeanette still fancies her offense and jumps on Nikki without much hesitation. However Sanderson's guard is solid and the blonde's punches are not making any damage to the English girl. In fact it's Nikki who makes more damage as she pummels Jeanette's ribs and forces her back. Looks like the German struggles to cover her midsection and Nikki has spotted that and steps in with a couple of low jabs from each side. Sanderson has taken over the offensive approach and slowly but steadily pounds Biedermann from the distance. The German has no response to her opponent's more aggressive approach and looks relieved when the bell brings this round to a close. Sanderson takes this one without any doubt.

Round 4:
Sanderson has finally setlled in this fight and dominates the round from the outset. She keeps her distance from Biedermann and pummels her with well-placed jabs & hooks to midsection. Jeanette looks frustrated and is unable to find a winning way against this style of boxing. Nikki circles around the ring and begins to smile seeing her rival upset. All of the sudden Jeanette ducks low and tries a powerful uppercut but Nikki covers that and resonds with a solid hook that catches the German in the side of the head. Nikki follows up and delivers a strong combination that pushes Jeanette along the ropes. Nikki produces a flurry of punches which Jeanette somehow manages to avoid as she escapes from big trouble. She clinches with Sanderson who is now upset that she just missed finishing her rival off. The bell sounds and Nikki secures another round in her favor.

Round 5:
Nikki gets another good start and catches Jeanette with a straight jab followed by a low-uppercut. Jeanette looks anything but confident now and responds with some chaotic punches that make no damage to her English rival. Sanderson continues with low jabs to Jeanette's ribs who looks pretty soft on her legs already. Fitness slowly starts to creep into this fight and the German looks to be running out of steam. Nikki delivers more punches to her rival's head but Jeanette's high guard is still working well. However if she hopes to score a victory on her debut she'll need to remind herself how well she fought in the opening two rounds. Nikki traps her in the corner for the final minute of this round and scores easy punches as Jeanette is barely responding from behind her guard.

Round 6:
Biedermann has realized she has no chance of surviving this fight with such a defensive stance she had displayed in the last three rounds and goes all out despite breating heavily in her corner during the interval. She delivers a good combination that initially stuns Sanderson who is forced to step back. However there isn't enough strenght behind the German's punches and her hopes of a knockout are quickly dashed. Sanderson is quick on her feet and begins to wear out her rival who is visibly slower in the ring. After more fruitless attempts from Jeanette, Nikki steps forward and catches her with another powerful blow to the side. Jeanette is pushed back in her corner where a couple of big hooks catch her in the head. Nikki is in control again but the bell saves Biedermann from a knockout.

Round 7:
Sanderson looks set to finally put the German blonde away and launches a flurry of hooks and jabs which one by one catch her in both face and midsection. Nikki quickly traps Jeanette in the corner and works her over left, right and center. Jeanette's guard is finally broken and after an uppercut combination she finally goes down on her knees. Referee counts her to eight before she gets up. She looks in some discomfort but is allowed to continue. Nikki follows up with another combination, but Jeanette ducks under her elbow and escapes trouble. Sanderson steps in and wants to finish her off regardless but Biedermann pounds her with a rare double-hook to the ribs and the English girl is forced backwards. They circle around the ring and Nikki's next offensive attempt is stopped by the bell.

Round 8:
It's almost all or nothing for Biedermann now and she steps on Sanderson straight from the bell, but Nikki looks in much better shape and easily stops the blonde's attack. She responds with another flurry of jabs to the stomach and Jeanette raises her guard only to see Nikki go right through it with a big uppercut. Jeanette looks totally out of control and falls on the ropes which help her stay upright. Nikki traps her there and delivers another uppercut combination that meets no resistance and Jeanette goes down on her knees for the second time. Referee counts her to eight again and allows to continue but she's under immediate onslaught from her English opponent. The final minute of this fight begins and Nikki traps Jeanette in the corner with the German behind her guard all the time. Nikki is allowed to punch her at will and does so with several jabs and hooks. Biedermann is very soft on her knees and Nikki looks in anger at the referee who hasn't stopped the fight yet despite Jeanette being totally helpless and outclassed in the final round. Nikki is frustrated but finally breaks the German's guard and catches her in the face with four straight punches. Jeanette slides down on the ground, but the bell sounds and brings this fight to a close. Jeanette isn't getting up and looking totally beaten up while Nikki waives her glove in anger at the referee.
- Why didn't you stop this fight, you fool? Everyone saw she had enough!
There are still some angry voices being heard in Sanderson's corner as the announcer steps forward to give the judges' verdict.

Jeanette Biedermann's face looks very sore and she hides her head between her hands before being escorted to the locker room by her trainer Gina Wild. She looks in no mood for any post-fight interview whatsoever. On the other hand Kate Garraway talks ringside to the winner, Nikki Sanderson:
Kate: Well done, Nikki, that was quite a good showing there.
Nikki: Thanks Kate, but I'm disappointed that the referee didn't give me a TKO at the end. Everyone saw I totally beat her up and she had nothing, I mean nothing left there in the end. I guess they wanted to save that German whore a knockout loss on her debut. That's a big shame, but I can be proud of what I did tonight.
Kate: What's next for you, Nikki?
Nikki: Well, I hope to get more invitations from the Lioness Club in the future. I see they are introducing another rookie, this Range girl in a couple of minutes time and I'm certain I can knock her out! We'll wait and see what happens.
Kate: Thanks Nikki and congratulations on your convincing victory tonight.
