Before: Williams tuning up takes on Winona Ryder, who’s recently been edging back into the fight scene off television. Ryder with workmanlike skills, probably not sharp enough to deal with Williams straight up, but Mish looking for rounds, Winona looking to see where she rates right off the bat. Ryder unable to make the flyweight limit—she scoots a little bit more cash over to Williams, Mish insists that the fight go on.

Winona in pink cashmere bikini, white shoes and gloves—Mish in black lace bra and panties, white lace trim.

During R1-3: Systematic seek and destroy from Mish—she’s walking Winona down all around the ring, jabbing the girl to corners, piling on with zesty right hands, wide left, hooks, not to mention forehead, shoulders and elbow-pushes. Ryder getting banged up, but not shutout—shes game enough, hunkering down shoulder to shoulder, left across her belly, right at her temple as she lays in, then tries to fit the odd right uppercut onto Mish’s chin as Williams gets off. All three rounds to Mish—Winona scuffed up but surviving.

R4-5: Reversal of fortune—Mish getting a little complacent, giving up on the jab, just walking in, and Ryder able to make some things happen off the counter. Winona keeping the right hand tight to her cheek, reaching in the jab, then dipping, pumping the left uppercut to the tits, then backing off behind more nuisance jabs as Mish waits to the punch with straight right hands, then duck and pivot out of trouble. Classy, surprising stuff from Ryder as she shines the ex-champ up in these heats.

R6: Good ship Williams hits an iceberg. Mish walking in, loading up and swinging wide, gets nailed a harsh right hand on the teeth, but this time Winona puts the left hook on top to put Williams on her backside for 8. Later in the first minute, Ryder picking Mish over jabs, screens the blonde and drops another booming right to the side of the jaw, puts the hook on top and drops Mish AGAIN! Williams up, bleeding from the nostrils—she’;s hurt, stumbling forward. Ryder having a field day as she slidesteps back, cuffs Mish the lean away cheek hook off the back foot, then walks Mish into the stumping short right hand up the middle—buckling Williams’ legs repeatedly and causing the blonde to clinch in desperation at the bell.

R7: Williams goes back to jabbing. FINALLY responding to corner instructions as TE trainer Syren threatens to walk out of the corner. Ryder put on the defensive—Mish banging face, stuffing jug with a stiff stick. A banging, innocent straight right hand over Ryder’s left shoulder has Winona stepping in fence post holes—Mish steos in, thumps the gut a hook, thumps those melons a hook and leans into a shattering right hand on the mouth—all body and shoulder behind a very short shot and RYDER GOES OUT! Winona limp on her feet, tumbling into Mish and pooling on the canvas as the blonde jumps back—Williams walking nonchalant to her corner without a second glance as Ryder sleeps it off. KO7 Mish Williams.

After: Williams looking away, raising a palm to Syren’s face—Mish just doesn’t want to hear about what she did wrong in this fight. “Woulda, coulda, shoulda,” says Mish, “all I see is Winona being carried out of the ring like a little punk. Tempermental blonde does it her way, gets bounced off the canvas twice by light hitting Ryder. Mish showing no respect for her opponent, makes the fight harder than it had to be. Still, hard to argue with the crushing KO won.
