BEFORE: Gellar a veteran on the bubble: getting targetted now by rookies and D-list celebs - not much left of the ol' Slayer mystique. "I'll get it back," Sarah says quietly in prefight. "I've been in just about all of my losing fights - I've had moments and I've been competitive. I've still forgotten more about boxing that Shaki's ever going to know - that's going to get her in trouble in this fight." Shahi getting a golden opportunity: perfect storm of a high-profile opponent who's struggling for Shahi's debut. "Keep the pressure on her!" Sarah says when asked for her Gellar-busting strategy. "This girl is really doubting herself, so I can't let her get any confidence at all. I'm young, fresh, eager to win: I'll just pounce all over this girl and broom her outta there!" Shahi in white cashmere crochet bikini (tawdry); white gloves; black hair wild and loose; tan-suede boxing moccasins with fringes to mid-calf. Sarah in white bikini; small white gloves; slick blonde ponytail; short white boxing shoes to mid-calf. ASIDE: concerned veteran flyweights like Vanessa Marcil, Kelly Ripa, Shannen Doherty, and others not happy to see Shahi in the ring - whole passle of them pretty vocal at ringside.

During R1: Shahi smoothly in at Sarah - ducking in close, tucking a short left hook snug to Gellar's paunch, then covering up as SMG answers with shoe-shining flurry. Shahi neat on her back (right) foot, bending low on it, then easing back in to fit a smooth right hand to the Gellar breadbasket, followed by a crisp "here I am" hook to chops. Gellar smote, but sturdy: she hooks Shahi's generous chest; leans in on front (left) leg to tuck tidy hook in behind Shahi's right elbow. Shahi pivoting, dragging the left foot like a real pro: right at her cheek, left across her gut as she shifts angle, stays supple on her hips, looking to lean in and out with swatting shots. Classy, busy stuff - Shahi outworking Gellar in clever, swiping exchanges.

R2: Same again: Shahi very smooth - getting close to Gellar before getting off, sticking her mitts into SMG's body and jugs. Defensively, Shahi surprisingly sound - standing her ground, but bending at the waist, rolling her torso, shifting weight from front foot to back: she's got a Hudgens-like sense of balance. Gellar standing her ground, bobbing and blocking, but not letting her hands go as often as Shahi: dark-haired Sarah out-hustling the blonde through 2.

R3: Good start from Gellar as she digs to Shahi's body, finally backing brunette up: wheels fall off at the minute mark as Gellar gobbles a swift counter right hand bingo onna chin. Complete turn-around: Gellar stepping fence post holes, tragically hurt...she covers up earmuff, suffers a terrible pasting as little Shahi releases the hounds. Two long minutes of savage lathering, Shahi to Gellar - SMG stumbling along ropes, stooping forward behind her mitts, just trying to keep her guard together. Shahi SO aggressive - tearing at Gellar's head and body - punching vigorously, with sudden delivery: gloves bouncing off SMG's cringing frame. Gellar beaten into stupor, but golden-brown legs keep her upright. Bell: Shahi yelping in pleasure, skipping away all bright-eyed; Gellar cut at the hairline, busting up, massaging battered breasts with heel of her right hand en route to her corner.

R4: Shahi quickly upon her girl, then setting up supple: right under her chin, left across her gut; left foot planted so she can pivot around it. Shahi bending at the waist, or leaning back - moving her head, creating space - she's really showing a lot of class for a debuting little fighter. Shahi snatching at Gellar - tidy right/lefts on the waist; sneaky swipe-hooks to jaw off the back (right) foot; sneakier lead right hands as Shahi ducks in and dives low on follow through. Gellar trying to compete: standing her ground, getting touched up, but she's sturdy in her stance, chopping back in spots. Gellar's still showing good handspeed in combination - frequently going to belly and breasts with success - but again, not in volume. Gellar giving up extra touches, getting outworked, looking confused and discouraged as younger woman busts her up.

R5: Gellar changes tack - she's been trying to swat and swipe with Shahi...now SMG closes all the way in, getting mouth-on-shoulder with her girl. Digging bump-n'-slug as Shahi allows it - girls pumping to offending guts; picking each other up bendy-backed left uppercuts. Crowd-pleasing stuff - nothing like a couple of determined flyweights getting off every second and a half in tight, tidy combinations.

R6: Gellar back in close, trying to crowd and out-dig Shahi. Sarah Shahi cute here: she pushes in mouth-on-shoulder with Gellar, then easing back half a step: rookie's walking veteran into sneaky counter-punches! Gellar gobbling as she falls forward: stuffing right hands pound her belly; sneaky right uppercuts check her chin. Shahi cute on the pivot - leaning in with left shoulder against SMG, then sidestepping-left, pushing-and-turning Gellar in one smooth movement. Accumulation of touches really tidying Gellar up: she's starting to wobble, not answering back, reacting late as swift punches claim targets. Midway through, Shahi swats left hook to tummy, then arches her back, shifts weight to front (left) foot to clip the gorgeous little left uppercut: Gellar's head flips back, knees knock and DOWN SHE GOES! Gellar sloooowly down - Shahi able to bank a pair of insurance hooks in SMG's breasts before Gellar droops to all fours. It's over: SMG beaten into stupor - stunning KO6, Sarah Shahi!

AFter: Little known Shahi drawing comparisons to prime Paula Abdul or even Nia Peeples - hardcore pundits preferring more conservative comparisons like Brenda Song or Vanessa Hudgens before putting Shahi in the hall of fame just yet. "OMG, I took her apart!" Says an excited - and slightly shocked - Sarah Shahi in postfight. "Right away, I saw I was quicker, so I just established my pace and started getting touches. That was the key - I never went for any knockout shots, I just out-boxed her every minute, looking to wear her down!" Marcil, Ripa and the other veterans fuming: not happy with Gellar for letting Shahi showcase; not happy with Shahi for being all new and shiny - not to mention successful.
