Before: "Lacey reminds me of a sausage, yes?" Virginie says sweetly in prefight. "Very taut, very firm - and stuffed with pork!" Snorting French snickers from Tech side of dais as Ledoyen raises her eyebrows suggestively at Lacey: Chabert utterly baffled, though not liking the sound of a sausage comparison - she's pretty sure she's been insulted. "I don't know how Ledoyen got past Carter," Lacey says at the podium, "but whatever: she's my mandatory and I'm knocking her out. If you look at her, she's a 3 - MAYBE a 4 with good light: just on hotness alone you know I'm gonna ruin this hag." Lacey in Maxim whites (bra and panties), small white work out gloves. Virginie in bright baby blue bikini, small white work out gloves.

During R1: Lacey chugging forward, encounters stiff resistance. Virginie refusing access inside - scuffing Lacey tuff one-twos, stepping back to create space, walking Chabert into punishment and sidestepping her. When Chabert antes up and DOES get inside? Virginie's tightening up stroke, shrugging her shoulders, picking Lacey up tuff in her jugs and face in close. Good action round with Lacey pressing the pace, Virginie managing the pressure well - that's Ledoyen's round.

R2: Ledoyen's defence sets up her offence: she's making Lacey miss, then making her pay. Chabert swinging lustily, foiled by Ledoyen's cute step-outs and sidesteps: Virginie emerging off either Chabert flank, scoring with crisp one-twos. Down the stretch, nasty Ledoyen left uppercut startles Lacey: Virginie doubles down, putting the hook on top - sending Chabert reeling to ropes at bell.

R3: More Ledoyen anyone? Right hand scorches Lacey, has her stepping in fence post holes: Virginie celebrates with a brace of batting hooks to sweep Lacey ropeside. Chabert getting pasted, grits teeth, wades forward off ropes: Lacey sweeps a right roundhouse to gut; left hook to jug; right uppercut to chin, sending Lacey stumbling off to her right. That's the way of it - Chabert on her heels, unable to rally effectively - Ledoyen pounding away from outside, punching Chabert's head at will, going to the body when it makes sense.

R4: Lacey firms. Chabert getting herself together during the break: she's more controlled this round, trying to build the points rather than simply looking to blow Virginie's doors off. Stubby little jab helps disrupt clever French woman - Lacey cutting off the ring, forcing more toe-to-toe situations. Chabert moving her head better, weaving side to side while pulling lefts and rights onto Ledoyen - Virginie buffeted in the exchanges. Ledoyen proving a battler in spots: whenever Lacey squares away to have a good hard go, Virginie's bunching up her shoulders and answering back savage.

R5: Lacey pulls the trigger on her stubby right, belting Ledoyen to jaw, jerking her a quarter-turn to her right: Virginie's wobbly butt. Good meaty beat-down along ropes - Lacey's weight on her right foot as she HEAVES home straightarm, batting rights to Ledoyen's midsection: Virginie groaning, sliding to her left, trying to cover up down there. Middle minute, Lacey consolidates - reaching under Virginie's arms to chest her heavy to ropes - compact American getting underneath her girl and systematically wearing down French ribcage. Final minute, Lacey dipping side to side at ropes, RIPS Lacey a left uppercut, startling the champ and stopping her onslaught. Virginie digs left to gut, left to gut - clasps the back of Lacey's neck in both hands to pull her head down/spin her round into the ropes. Virginie on top suddenly - left hand pulling Lacey's head down; right hand delivering pumping digs jug and face and LACEY GOES DOWN! Chabert sputtering on all fours - ref pushing Virginie back and scolding her for the neck clasp. Ledoyen takes away a clear Lacey 10-9 with the knockdown, giving Virginie 10-9 instead.

R6: Concern in the Chabert corner: she's busted up, roughed up - bully's getting bullied through 6. Lacey steams out of port, spitting jabs, crowding forward - just being strong and consistent, pushing Ledoyen to the perimeter. Virginie very tuff tonight - covering up under Lacey's pounding barrages, answering back vigorously - Ledoyen refusing to shy away from Lacey's tummy, and scrubbing away one-two on her face. Chabert able to impose will at some cost - pinning Virginie to ropes and pummelling her with straight-jamming criss cross lefts and rights: Ledoyen getting stamped to upperchest and face at bell.

R7: First minute sees Lacey drive Virginie to ropes for 3 consecutive breaks: Ledoyen starting to have difficulty holding canvas as Chabert's coming forward strong. Middle minute - Lacey getting that stubby right cross off - pounding it to jaw and tossing Virginie's head aside: several clean connects send Ledoyen wobbling to one knee for a breather. Virginie up, but frazzled: Chabert able to close out the round fighting off Ledoyen's chest, giving French woman a terrible beating about her ribs and tummy.

R8: Virginie open mouthed, cringing: she's hurt in her body, not recovering well during the break. Lacey getting on top fast with scooting footwork and stubby jabs - she's forcing Ledoyen to ropes, walking through Virginie's scrubbing punches now. From minute mark on, it's all Lacey beating down Ledoyen resistance at ropes. Chabert pummeling tummy until Virginie groans forward - then champ will lean her left forearm across Ledoyen's upperback, push her sideways to ropes, and beat her right hands without mercy to body. Ref letting this go - Virginie absorbing tremendous punishment as Lacey's able to set and pump righty. Late the round, Ledoyen sinks to one knee with Lacey leaning on her and slugging at her side - French vixen whines to ref that Chabert pushed her down - but judges make it another knockdown-against.

R9: Virginie dangling her left hand, circling to her right: she stymies Lacey with a series of clouting right hands to chin. Virginie gritting her teeth, brawling back - she bats away stiff, shivering straight arm lefts and rights to midsection. Neck clasp tugs Lacey forward, spins her round - ref barking orders for Virginie to cut it out, but she puts Lacey's butt in ropes, uses the left to pull Lacey's head down with smoking her righty. Ref breaking the action, giving Virginie a stern talking-to: then Ledoyen marches right back in to continue beating Lacey at ropes. Chabert crossing her arms, grimacing: Virginie stroking and lathering to good effect, pastes Lacey for points.

R10: Look at Virginie compete! Lacey looking a little gassed - champ inching forward, facing into punches as Ledoyen drops right hands, scoots to the side. Chabert works her way in close, but Ledoyen quickly going to the neck clasp to tug-and-turn her girl: illegal, but it's keeping Lacey off balance and preventing her from setting up strong on chest. Ledoyen happy to lavish Lacey's tummy and tits some strong, batting blows - French vixen really spanking away at the heart of Chabert's power. Lacey absorbing blows well, coming forward, but not getting off well - frisky Virginie denying Lacey chances to take the tenth. Comes back a UD10 draw - Lacey retains!

After: Virginie stunned, stoic, but clearly disagreeing with the verdict that denies her belts while scoring 6 rounds for her outright. Lacey all busted up - MUCH tougher contest than Chabert anticipated leaves her a tired, but happy and relieved beauty. "She couldn't take my punch," Lacey says, when Tractorpull bully brings up the scoring. "You saw her - she was flopping around like a boated trout - I was beating her all up inside. She was down often enough that I honestly thought the ref should have stopped it. Ledoyen was lucky to get a draw tonight - she didn't deserve it."
