"It's brilliant - it's great fun," grins the always grinning Hannah in prefight. "We'll swoop onto St Tropez, or Cannes, or wherever - looking for French celebrity - and if we don't find it, we'll just take on whomever in hopes of drawing a Casta or a Ledoyen down to the water. It's only logical that the FCBA would want to showcase us Brits: we've been kicking froggie backside for generations!" Ledoyen crossing arms, fuming throughout: British incursions on French resort sand has long been a sore spot - and Spearritt's one of the worst offenders. "Hannah is a little hooligan," Virginie sneers at the podium. "Whenever we find her, we crush her and send her fleeing. During R1: Hannah a cute blonde buzzsaw - whizzing into Virginie with a dizzying assortment of lefts and rights off sticky little jabs. Ledoyen tries to match Spearritt punch for punch early, but suffers badly in trade: by the minute mark, Virginie's covered up earmuff, waiting for an opening. Hannah grinning - almost nothing on any one punch, but she's just bathing Virginie in small-glove leather. Chippy jabs skid atop 'Ginnie's skull ot tap at her face between her mitts; hooks and crosses clout and slap at Virginie - often in combination; scraping uppercuts clang off Ledoyen's guard - Hannah scrubbing busily away with them, constantly pushing forward. Midway point, Spearritt has Virginie covering up on ropes: blonde squirms in close; left hand secures a twisting grip on Virginie's top and HANNAH'S SLUGGING AWAY RIGHTY! Tucking, stuffing rights plow into Virginie's belly: Ledoyen cramping, stooping, blurting "UPPP!" as Hannah pumps tummy in tight. Hannah licking her lips, coming over the top with the right hand - very tight, close punching, scraping her forearm across Virginie's cheek on follow through. Ledoyen spluttering as she gets mauled: "TOP, REF! TOP!" Official reaching in to slap at Hannah's grip-hand on occasion, but never issuing formal breaks: clown's just shouting "Don't tug her top Hannah...No top tugging Hannah..." Spearritt's tidy little body working hard to keep Virginie pinned as crude holding and hitting works French vixen over to bell.

During R2: Ledoyen all scuffed up, dishevelled: she comes off her stool angry. Hannah playful, grinning, bouncing around - she negotiates Ledoyen's early big swings with wonderful springy footwork and cutey-pie shoulder turns: Spearritt avoiding hot contact when Virginie's able to extend on punches. Hannah slowly taking over with her spitting little jab - just tapping away at Virginie, working in and out on her, coaxing French vixen to cover up. Once Ledoyen's defensive - Hannah releases the hounds - a constant tapping, slapping, clouting clapping of limber leather pelting at poor Virginie's head and shoulders. Ledoyen blocking most of it, but she can't get off: French vixen cuffed and buffetted - worked to the ropes once again. Feisty stuff from Hannah as she starts flicking her jab at Virginie's breasts - really just trying to secure another top-lock: Ledoyen swatting and parrying the hand away, denying the tug. Cat and mouse results - Spearritt menacing Ledoyen at the ropes, but a sudden, chopping right to Hannah's chin turns the tables. Hannah stepping in fence post holes: Virginie's able to reach out, gobble Hannah up with a full-body clinch and twist lithe blonde into the ropes. Ledoyen's turn to secure HANNAH'S top: French twists her left fist into pink cotton, crowds in close, starts ramming away righty to squirmy British tummy. Hannah crying out: Virginie cruelly going to work with plugging body rights, then coming up and over with rights across the face. Hannah battered - ref just as ineffectual as he had been when Spearritt was romping. Bell: Virginie samples extra tummy with insurance right hands: Hannah groaning, sitting in ropes until ref finally moves in.

R3: Weird action midring: girls with weight on right (back) feet - pawing the open left hand in hopes of snagging the other girl's top. Both secure grips, tug each other-to: counterclockwise, stumbling rotation as lissome lasses pull each other around and in, each cramming home festive right hands to trembling paunch. Staggering, tugging melee - girls pulling at each other's tops while trying to belt away righty - haphazard slugging crowdpleasing if sloppy as fight careens around the ring. Ref reluctantly stepping in to break and restart at points - girls going right back into each other's tops to continue the fracas. Final minute - ref's break: Hannah hops in quick, stunning Ledoyen a bouncy right/left on either cheek: French vixen on her heels, suddenly staring. Hannah swarms in, tackling Virginie about her middle, driving her to ropes with backside all a-jiggle: then it's left hand snatching top, right hand DIGGING amidships. "UHHH!" Virginie blurts - mouthpiece shooting off her teeth as butt jumps up onto ropes: little Hannah's just CHUGGING away down there. Virginie's hands flailing - she's helpless, sobbing out: Hannah with great position, crowded in strong, pushing into Virginie while handling her top: there's nothing to stop those right hands. Spearritt's cute face twisted in savagery: her whole world has come down to subjugating Virginie's tummy and THE REF STEPS IN! He's stopping it - pushing in between the girls, hugging Ledoyen to safety: TKO3 in shocking fashion - Hannah Spearritt.

After: Ledoyen bawling, stamping her little foot, pleading with and berating the "imbecile" ref. Hannah jumping for joy - face lighting up the arena: scrappy little Brit shows volume punching mixed with the kind of hardheartedness British girls have been showing French girls ever since Agincourt. Little Hannah being mobbed and congratulated by the likes of Kelly Brook, Liz Hurley, Zoe Lucker and other more obscure Brits - Spearritt a bit of a lucky-mascot type amongst her bigger-bodied countrywomen and all love to see her do well.
