I blame myself - I underestimated her, I put more time into my ringwalk song than I did training for the bout and I paid for it. That won't happen against Jenny: I hate blondes." McCarthy singing a similar tune in the wake of a bad beat against Neve C. "I was ashamed of that Campbell fight," Jenny admits. "I was rusty, it showed and Neve took advantage. I don't think you can say that was really me - I wasn't sharp or explosive at all. I'm getting myself back together - I don't know if you guys have seen my abs lately, but I'm the best shape of my life these days, and I'm ready to kick a little PCD ass!" Jenny in teal halter-style bikini top, gold ring connection, low-rise peach boy cut bottoms; hair in ruff-n-ready beach-twist bun, bangs framing face - white gloves. Nicole in two-toned teal and dark green bikini with filigree pattern - white gloves.

During R1-2: Jenny buzzed in the opening moments by leaping, free-swinging Nicole - Scherzinger stunning and spooking McCarthy with circus uppercuts and sweep-hooks: all power, all the time. Jenny wide-eyed, takes the blows standing up - immediately tightens up defensively. Blonde showing rigid guard - dukes at temples - chin tucked as she crouches/rolls with incoming. Scherzinger prowling, snarling as she circles, feints, leaps in - glorious to watch sinuous brunette pounce at Jenny, raking her fierce, clawing blows from either hand, then slink away to safety. Not much offence from Jenny - she's late and tentative with her receipts - just focusing on making sure she doesn't get hurt by her foe's startling lunges.

R3: Jenny getting the hang of Nicole now - blonde starting to time brunette, do some scoring. Minute mark: McCarthy dips low in her guard, steps into Nicole's breadbasket with stuffing right (left still tight to temple); up out of the crouch a tight-biting hook, catching Nikki's mouth. Scherzinger hands low, backing up on a line: Jenny steps-with, eyes bright as she bends into a hacking overhand right sharp to cheek. Nikki hits ropes, mouth open: Jenny hooks jugs; Jenny hooks jugs - teeth bared. Right hand Jenny - swivels Nikki's head. Left hook Jenny, clobbering Nikki's jugs. Scherzinger hurrrrrt, stooping forward behind her mitts: Jenny hooks behind the elbow, fitting mitt in sweet above Nicole's right hip; hooks again, catching a bit more of the back; clobbers the right hand down across Nicole's back: DOWN GOES SCHERZINGER! Nikki's bellie tremble-panting, eyes watering up as she shudders on all fours: Jenny strutting to neutral corner, lighting up the arena with animated grin. Shabby 8, Nicole: she covers up shopworn, slouching into ropes as Jenny hops-to and belts away. Crowd screaming: Jenny teeth bared, pushing her head and gloves into Nicole's guard, then ripping tidy-kind roundhouses (lefts and rights) to pussycat ribcage, bringing the mitts back quick to reset. Too much punishment: Nicole just lounging on the ropes, breathless as Jenny thumps away on torso; Scherzinger snivelling as she sinks to her left knee. Jenny clouts Nicole an extra right on the temple just for laughs - ref warns McCarthy for hitting a girl while she's down.

R4: Nicole loping, on the run - exposing a little rust left in Jenny's game as McCarthy's inefficient cutting off the ring. Tigerish brunette bounding, feinting, changing directions - now slinging, now prowling, now leaping away - Nicole always LOOKS like she's getting ready to pounce, making it difficult to walk her down. Not a lot of contact - Scherzinger able to score potshotting lead rights or hooks as Jenny's walking in sans jab. Good recovery round Scherzinger; McCarthy chiding herself on her stool during the break.

R5: Jenny more brazen, walking Nicole down in earnest: Scherzinger waiting on her blonde, then blitzing her a gorgeous variety of timing punches. Check hooks off the back (right) foot; pre-emptive right hands swept in and across as Nikki bends into the blows; feints setting up lead left uppercuts to split Jenny's rigid forward guard. McCarthy shaken at points - legs undone as she staggers away from vicious Scherzinger power punches - but no follow up from Nicole. Nikki snarling, ripping into Jenny with glorious single shots, then loping away, content to watch Jenny stumble around hurt.

R6: Nicole continues her high risk/high reward gambling - lunging in at Jenny's prepared defenses. McCarthy suppressed in first minute - just blocking, rolling, bobbing and weaving: second minute an entirely different story. Jenny dipping in close, tucking that right hand to Nicole's paunch, then hooking her mouth: PCD buttocks immediately wobbly, legs stamping at canvas as Scherzinger wanders away thunderstruck. Jenny on the march: dukes at temples as she knocks jabs against Nicole's forehead, then belts Scherzinger a hacking right to chin, draping brunette against ropes. Hook to jugs; hook to jugs: Jenny going right at Nicole's chest with compact bite - right mitt tight at temple throughout. Nikki unravelling, hands at her thighs as she sexy-rolls her torso to slip the incoming: Jenny's not having it. Thudding beatdown issued - McCarthy squared away strong, pulsing lefts and rights onto a deeply discouraged, badly battered Nicole. Blonde gloves caroming off brunette shoulders and temples; cramming into jug and tummy; jamming in above hip or skidding across back. Jenny's conditioning very much improved from the Campbell fight - she sustains a terrible output on Nicole, visibly breaking Nikki down, slowing Scherzinger's reactions. It's all too much - Nik being bludgeoned, finally swoons forward off the ropes - hits on her shoulder - rolls to her back. Nikki's awake, but too distraught to fight on: KO6 Jenny Mac as Nicole Scherzinger can't get off her back?

After: Nicole on her back - arms out to either side, elbows planted, hands in the air. Her eyelashes fluttering, lips quivering - she probably could have beaten the 10 count but chooses instead to linger on her back, forcing physicians to tend to her, just in case. Jenny Mac surviving some ferocious Miami-style heat in the early going, but Scherzinger finding FCBA beauties tougher, more resilient than the typical non-celeb hottie she might fight in a South Beach club. McCarthy holds firm defensively, gets her range, punches hard when in position and hammers out a picturesque stoppage to come back well from a tuff setback.
