Before: Welterweight eliminations continue - Loken waiting in the wings as rival queens square off. Not much to choose between Landry and Romjin - Beck the longer, lankier beauty who in recent fights has shown the ability to win ugly, using her legs to beguile her opponents into defeat. Landry strong, polished, a master at cutting off the ring and forcing girls to fight her fight. "Gotta go with the tall blonde," says Loken, guest-commentating at the mic. "Romjin has the perfect physique for beating Landry - you want to be able to box Ali, scuff up her face - pageant girls can't handle face-punching. Becky doesn't have a ton of heart, so I'm nervous about her folding under pressure, but if she can suck it up, I think she'll manage Landry for a decision." R5: Furious two way brawling breaks out as both girls want to set the tone for the second half. Romjin leaning in with rights, leaning out with rising, licking lefts, using palm-shoves against Ali's shoulders to turn her midring. Landry jabbing rapidly to the chest and stomach, turning on sizzling rights, back with clanging short hooks - deadly rhythm for both women as chins are shaved, backsides shook. Down the stretch: Ali ducking down, catching Becky a right hand alongside the jaw as Romjin misses righty over the top - Landry up out of the crouch with a bashing left hook and DOWN GOES ROMJIN! Becky dropped hard at the ropes, legs up high as she rocks onto her back - Landry smoldering with satisfaction at the sight. Beck shakes it off, runs the final few moments, back to her corner with a concerned, determined look.

R6,7: Ali reining Romjin in. Landry cutting off the ring behind that pulsing pageant jab of hers, driving in short, breathtaking right hands to the lungs, jerking her hook to waist or chin. Becky can't shake her, resorting more often to draping clinches, wrapping up around Landry's head or behind her elbows. Beck pushed to ropes more and more, covering up and languishing as Landry able to club away flanks, back and midsection for points.

R8: Romjin gets it together, startling Ali with a renewed commitment to jab. Long, strong poke - Landry can't penetrate it, can't close and she's starting to eat right hands as Romjin steps and slings. Good rangy 8th - Becky finally imposing range and power on Landry - Ali taking a good shot this round while trying to get back to Becky's chest.

R9: Crowd roars as Ali eats a HARD right hand on her mouth - Landry put wobbly butt for the first time in the fight and she's a different fighter afterwards. Romjin coming forward aggressive, jab POUNDING away head and shoulders on Ali, releasing right crosses, coming back with stroking hooks across Landry's trembling tummy. First clinches of the fight for Ali as she gloms on behind Rebecca's elbows - brunette looking weary, chin-checked and groggy: Becky yanking to free her arms, clearly wanting to bring decisive battle to Ali.

R10: Romjin SMASHING away jabs - Ali rarely out-stuck as she has been late in this fight - she's woozy, lips pouted as jabs crash past the guard to bash back face. Landry disheveled, sullen, walking to her right - she's just trying to make Romjin miss, then jump in on her to clinch. Becky stalking, dominating the round, but not managing Landry's survival tactics well - blonde constantly bogging down, held for breaks. Goes to the cards - comes back a razor thin duke: ALI LANDRY!

After: Romjin open-mouthed in shock - in her mind, she was rolling Ali up down the stretch. 5 rounds a piece, but Landry with knockdown salts it away - hamhanded power coming to the rescue. Ali white towel around her shoulders, puffy, but regaining her swagger in postfight. "You know, I did what I had to do. Romjin's really a second class power in this division - she's got her tricks, she does jab well, but when it came down to it: I took her best and she wound up on her back from mine. I don't know what management has in mind, but obviously, I'd like to push the Krushers out of the welterweight division and reclaim it as my own - total dominion over the FCBA sounds good to me."
