BEFORE: "Char needs to be ready," says long time Padma rival Tricia Helfer. "She can't count on Padma's age to play a decisive factor: Theron needs to be smart/aggressive and attack Lakshmi with vigor. Padma's style is very unorthodox - she likes to fight in up under a girl's armpits practically: it's very difficult to box her in an organized fashion. Charlize isn't always as busy as you'd like to see her, and that could cost her, as you've got to supress Padma with work rate, wear her down and hurt her when you can. This would be a huge toe-hold in the FCBA for Lakshmi if she can get Charlize beat, so hopefully, CT's focused and ready!" Padma with long, glossy-black curls loose n' harem-wild; pea-green string bikini; small black gloves. R2: Scrumptious CT body punching continues: Theron fixing Padma's position with the jab, then licking her lanky right/lefts across waist. Gorgeous, strapping wallops sounding out loud - minute mark sees a grimacing Padma gingerly step back and ease down to right knee. Lakshmi up at 8, leaning against ropes for support: she's showing face-in-gloves, keeping elbows in tight as Theron squares away. Rich, shellacking abuse applied - CT really strokin' it in thick: she's leaning forward, touching her head to Padma's guard while twisting to bounce punches off dusky hips/flanks. Padma sobbing out at times, reaching to clinch with agonized expression: Theron grinning in the grasp, blonde curls dangling in her eyes as she wriggles, waiting for ref's breaks.

R3: Padma with her hands up/elbows in - she drops that hammer jab onto CT, then dips forward (shifting weight to left leg) and viciously sorts out Theron's trunks with a snatching left. "UHH!" CT cries out, doubling up: her turn to show face-in-gloves, suddenly stymied. Padma to work on blonde waistline - leaning in, slopping it on in thick, painting rights and lefts...Theron baby-stepping forward, feeling the heat. Lazy Theron clinch attempt sees her extend arms...Padma slips, rolls, comes up underneath with the right uppercut - clipping CT's head back and DROPPING HER TO ALL FOURS! Charlize trembling, blinking: Padma turns away all sultry, calmly banking her knee off CT's forehead by 'accident'. Woozy 8, Theron: Padma oily on the attack, reaching under Char's arms to snuggle. Classic Padma dirty-boxing in the clinch: hug in place about Theron's ribs; little twists right or left to swipe fists onto face, or tuck 'em snug to tummy; resecure that hug and body Theron into ropes. Charlize just drowning in Padma's quicksand: blonde distraught, confused as she can't get back off ropes. Bell: Charlize shouting at ref to issue faster breaks; Helfer voicing indignant protests that amount to blonde solidarity in the face of supple brunette sharp practice.

R4: Padma so smooth, so sneaky - little feints freeze CT, then Padma ducks in, snuggles up, reaching hands round Theron's back and walking her about. Girls stumble into ropes in mutual, writhing embrace: Charlize grimacing with the effort of trying to disengage; Padma smirking/purring as she pulls Theron in close. Lakshmi on top at the ropes - subtle use of her head on CT as Padma shifts position from one blonde shoulder to the other. Padma tucking and swiping in shots, then hugging and bodying: she's really putting good tummy on CT here. Theron baring teeth, straining to get her arms under Padma and turn her over, but Lakshmi's so wriggly! Time and again, Padma squirms, regains position before Theron can muscle her - then punctuates the action with a close-in punch, body or jaw. Bell: CT huffing and puffing, curls in her eyes...and Padma won't let her up! Lakshmi snuggled up, hugging Theron around her body, laying atop her on ropes: Charlize screaming for ref, finally brings the guy in to pull Padma off. Lakshmi smiling malevolently, winking at Tricia: Helfer sputtering at the sight of Padma's infamous, sultry strutting.

R5: Janet reminds CT to "Be first" - Theron responds with a good, stiff jab. Doesn't land - Padma forms earmuff and blocks - but Charlize takes initiative. With Lakshmi covering up, CT gets back to that dusky body - leaning in close to strap supple right/left licks to waist/flanks. Visible cringing from Padma: the punching's too hard! Lakshmi tottering about behind her gloves, sponging punishment: Theron strapping, sidestepping, refusing to be baited inside where Padma can tie her up. Lakshmi dropping out the jab, trying to locate Theron: WHISTLING right hand counter at the midway point catches Padma's face flush! Padma stepping in fence-post holes: CT steps in with a curling right hard against guard, slugging Lakshmi to ropes. Padma showing face-in-gloves, slumped against ropes: CT'S PASTING THE BODY! Charlize twisting on her hips, swinging away free and wide, arms shivering upon withering contact with Padma's flanks. Lakshmi sits in ropes, torso lolling forward and THE REF STEPS IN! Padma a cringing mess, not answering back at all: ref protects exotic beauty from savage blonde beatdown. TKO5 Charlize Theron.

AFter: Theron breezy in postfight - shaking off the long minutes of subjugation she'd endured underneath Padma at the ropes, leaving Lakshmi a blubbering wreck in her corner. "I'm feeling really good right now," Theron says, tossing curls, standing hands-on-hips. "I battered Maria Menounos in a little beach tune up, and I probably caught her with one of the best right hands I've thrown in a year or two. Tonight, I solved a girl that was life and death with Tricia Helfer...I don't know, it almost seems like I'm raising the bar for this sport yet again!"
