Sellecca’s a nice little change up in the 80s mix. You know it’s all about Bach vs Thomas but when you put Connie in the cocktail, it seems to open up the canvas a bit (kind of a Markie Post variable). Think about these:
Sellecca/Heather Thomas: great blonde/brunette tussle rarely discussed. Heather Thomas a dominant figure of the period—I picture Connie giving her a nasty shock with better than expected boxing skills and straight punching—Thomas with her back to the ropes a lot of this fight, getting stunned, wondering what she has to do to re-establish order.
Sellecca/Judy Landers: Judy favoured, leaves a shabby, sobbing wreck as Connie gets on and scrubs it up.
Sellecca/Charlene Tilton: promoters bending over backward for a blonde match up—Tilton battered senseless.
Sellecca/Linda Evans: Evans past her prime—I see her getting a ragged beating from an un heralded Connie. Maybe a fight that gets Selleca on the map.
Sellecca/Kim Basinger: right after Basinger fought very well on the set of :”Charlie’s Angels” (prison episode) she gets in with Connie and gets stopped. Early sign that Selleca’s a precocious talent.
Sellecca/Randi Oakes: tougher than expected for Oakes. She catches Connie early in the brunette’s career, gets by with experience when most were expecting a romp.
Sellecca/Markie Post: Typical non-televised war that few saw live. I see them forced to fight each other several times as others duck—probably an even career split, but maybe Connie has an edge.
Sellecca/Farrah Fawcett: Connie’s rigid strength gives fluid Farrah all she can handle.
Sellecca/Tracy Scoggins: whoops, Cinderella story comes to an end—Tracy big and easy over Connie.
Sellecca/ Catherine Bach: Catherine all wrong for Selleca—Connie doesn’t get out of the third round. Thomas handles Bach though—sets up an intriguing triangle.
Sellecca/Lydia Cornell: blonde exposed for hyped up tramp she is—Connie ends her career.
Sellecca/Loni Anderson: apartment wrestling. I see girls battling on their knees, Loni in black Cynara bikini, Selleca in red bikini and Connie’s systematically numbing Loni with elbows. Lon arched in pain, wrists up, head back—Connie from a number of different angles, driving into Anderson’s ribs, sides and belly with backward thrusting right elbows. Those would make good still shots—the concentration on Connie’s face, pain-freeze on Loni’s as she just can’t get into the bout.
