During R1: Simpsy charging off her stool, tackle-stacking a shocked Jenny Love into her home corner and laying down the blonde law. Shove and slug - Jessica using her head, shoulders and raised elbows to jostle and prop, then driving in with single, bludgeoning right hand straight into the sternum and lungs of her foes. Hewitt ransacked, can’t get her weight forward - she’s trying to tie up, trying to walk Jessica back but can’t get traction. Simpsy pounding Jen’s plums, herky-jerk punching in tight arm-curl bursts. Simpsy checked the chin as Hewitt rides her mitts on blonde shoulders, cupping Jessica’s ears - Simpson turning on sudden uppercuts or trying to clout the hook over Hewitt’s right arm. Bell to bell - Jessica camped out in Jennifer’s trunks - blonde hopping happily to her corner after the bell - Hewitt steaming, short with her corner during the break.

R2: Change in tactics for Jenny Love - she’s strong to midring, butting shoulders with Jessica, looking to get respect toe to toe. Hewitt keeping her elbows in, turning on slashing punches with her body, really slicing a nice hook in under Jessica’s chin, across her belly. Simpsy refusing to back off - bobbing rapidly at the waist, leading with her hook, stubbing out that blunt right hand in between Jen’s jugs or flat out proud brunette tummy. Midway through - crowd pleasing, pounding give and take starts to accumulate in Jen’s legs - she’s backing out, starting to give ground. Jessica coming forward, stepping and swinging out of her crouch. Simpsy shaves a vicious right past Jen’s chin - Jessica just stepping into a beaut, cranking Jen’s head around in a vicious swivel - Hewitt out on her feet, staggers limp into the ropes, folds to her side and it’s OVER! KO2 Jessica Simpson!

After: Simpsy bouncing around the ring, hoisted onto Nick’s shoulders and paraded around the ring. Jenny quiet, knees drawn up on her side - worried physician quickly removing mouthpiece, pulling her eyelid up to shine a penlight in there - ugly. Jessica bending Hewitt one of the most humiliating moments of her career - tape of Jennifer being tended to will haunt the brunette for days as she tries to shift through what went wrong.
