Before: You'd think hard-working Chris Cox would be a fan of Jenny's - what with O'Dell's "beach girl made good" rep. "Jumped up Jenny?" Christina reportedly chuckles during interview with Beach Beat magazine. "Everyone knows she was a media creation. Britney's millions bought Jenny the FCBA throne - why would I respect that? I still think Krista and Angelica were better beach fighters - and if you ask me - there's no way Jenny beat Ali best of seven. Landry totally had the cuffs on in those fights - bought and paid for. You're going to see the real, unprotected Jenny O'Dell against me, and it's going to be a whole different story." Kiana Tom Christina's promoter, making dagger eyes at O'Dell as Jenny's approaching the ring: BSE's continued reluctance to slice Tom a piece of the O'Dell pie an ongoing vexation to the sand-scene tycoon. Bleachers - converted beach volleyball court - ring stanchions set up directly in sand. Jenny in black bikini, small yellow work out gloves - wearing Ray-Bans duriing ring instructions. Cox a little shorter, a little harder - green/yellow horizontally barred bikini - hair in short battle braid - small black work out gloves.

During R1: Cox brazen - coming out hands-down early, drawing Jenny's right hand: slip-left, jolting left uppercut takes Jenny under chin, rocking blonde legs at the open. CHRISTIINA'S HOTDOGGIN' ON JENNY! Cox with that insolent low-hands look, waiting on Jenny, slipping and answering with sudden rip-uppercuts - O'Dell backs off behind a prodding double jab to regroup. Middle minute - Jenny banging her jab out in threes while stepping left - former champ getting out of range, puttiing hard spank on her foe, slowly taking over. Final minute - O'Dell punishing Cox with hard rights and lefts from short range - blonde coming in off her jab, engaging toe-to-toe, backing Cox up in crowd-pleasing fashion. Chris well-tuned: she'll be keeping her hands up rest of the way.

R2,3: Cox dukes at cheeks, weaving side to side head movement - she's negotiating Jenny's jab, looking to close and bang. O'Dell not opposed to trading - but she'll have it on her terms: spanking 3 jab series while turning Chrissy's right flank, then Jenny's in with a right to the body and a clubbing left up top. Christina nice n' compact, rides it out, then answers with vigorous right/left cloutings of Jenny's firm paunch. O'Dell grimacing at the strength of these body blows, but always getting her turn in: wonderful hard-working back and forth as girls alternate bashing at one another's defences. Jenny a smidge stronger, a touch cuter: she'll disengage either by pushing Christina off, or sidestepping around the jab - O'Dell always in control of the agenda despite Coxie's good thump downstairs.

R4: Jenny's jab special - really pounding at Christina's hairline and shoulders while O'Dell's steppin' left - Jenny walking Cox in, looking for the right uppercut/left hook off the poke as Christina works herself into range. Cox normally absorbiing half a dozen punches before she's close enough to rip - but rip she does: beating a terrible tune of rights and lefts against Jenny's hard-working paunch. O'Dell grunting - palming Christina's shoulders and pushing off, then reinitiating the jab to draw Cox forward into more punishment. Crowd pleasing stuff - again, Jenny in control and getting the better of close, competitive rounds - but her corner's not altogether pleased during break: "Baby, I don't want this girl on your tummy, ok? She's getting in there a little too snug - back her off some this round - I want you extending on punches and keeping her away."

R5: Jenny doubling, tripling the jab while steppin' left in the sand: Kiana trying to get the crowd riled, shouting "Give us a fight, O'Dell come on!" Cox turning, scowling, lumping up: Jenny's smashing stick landing like a power shot, keeping Cox well outside. Jenny rotating clockwise, leaning in with the odd right cross and finishing up the left uppercut off the left (front) foot. Good solid pasting dished out - Cox covering up and absorbing like a trooper - taking O'Dell's punch very well, but unable to respond in the fifth.

R6: Slam-bang back and forth - Cox willing and able to walk through Jenny's jab and get her licks in close. Christina munching on Jenny's tummy mound - constant thud of short rights and lefts when she's in there close: O'Dell starting to cramp up a little, folding forward behind her gloves, keeping elbows in to protect. Too hard for Jenny to box on sand - she's forced to engage - just using her jab to set the table and get initiative for the exchanges. O'Dell showing straight rights, short left uppercuts, digging left hooks to offending paunch; Jenny also doing a good deal of pushing and bumping to jostle her sturdy foe. Cox proving hard to discourage - outhit, she nonetheless answers, beating at Jenny's flanks, arms, tits and tummy with rude disregard for O'Dell's pedigree. O'Dell clouting back at jug, making sure she answers every blow to her own. Jenny probably taking her 6th straight round, but you'd never know it: Cox right in there, banging away, even backing Jenny to ropes on occasion.

R7: Jenny jabs, gets the lead, covers up to bump guards and shoulders, trading lustily at close range - then shoves or steps out to renegotiate. Jenny not opposed to backing into ropes once in a while: dukes at her face, elbows in as Cox pushes forward - Christina snapping away compact lefts and rights to blonde torso and rack. HARD working sequences whenever Cox can put Jenny ropeside: O'Dell staying covered up, letting Christina pound at the defences, then answering - both girls short, sweet with the leather, clubbing and clouting with legs and backs doing the work. Sound of small-gloves moist on sweat-soaked bodies; soft gruntings from either woman as punishment adds up. O'Dell still VERY stingy, ekeing out another close round as Cox continues to give up the extra punch in the exchanges.

R8: More of it - Jenny jabbing for position and initiative, then happy to trade on her terms. O'Dell seemingly comfortable out in space, extending - or up against ropes, countering - she's fighting well within herself, sustaining a nice, rhythmic pace. Cox busting up some, but she's SO stubborn! She'll pay the leather price to get close, then bang at Jenny, FORCING O'Dell to cover up rather than punch-with. Down the stretch, Jenny's back to ropes - she covers up to absorb a shellacking, then neatly clips Coxie's chin a left uppercut, startling Christina. Left hook Jenny; another left uppercut - Cox stumbles back on sand, eyes suddenly forlorn. Bell sounds as Jenny's leaning in to label Chris a right hand to chin: Cox staggering to her right with the blast, finally showing signs of give.

R9: Back to the salt mines - Christina shakes off Jenny's clout - attacks O'Dell furiously in the BSE corner as crowd roars to it's feet. Sustained, pounding vigour - Chris keeping her head on Jenny's chest, rotating shoulders to keep hands moving, moving, moving on Jen. O'Dell frazzled - grimacing: she had expected to mop up dregs this round, only to find Cox more combative than ever. Mental let down costs Jenny: she can't get out of her corner; absorbs her worst beating of any round so far; loses her first round as Cox stays on top bell to bell.

R10: Jenny furious with herself throughout the break - she's much more aggressive midring - dousing Chris a brace of stiff jabs to begin festivities. Right cross flows from Jenny's shoulder, smashing Chrissy's face aside; murderous left uppercut off front (left) foot takes Cox horribly in her sternum. Christina sobbing out, nearly dropped to her knees by best body shot of the fight: she simply refuses to go down, falling into Jenny to clinch for break. Middle minute - Cox rallies - weaving Jenny's jab and clubbing away at her: Christina belting Jenny's paunch and jugs like few ever have before. Jenny grunting, giving ground: she'll start the third minute off the ropes. Down the stretch, Jenny defending the pocket - elbows in, hands up: she twists to absorb body blows on her elbows or lats, then licks back vicious little uppercuts - occasionally dipping a shoulder to dig hooks or right hands to Christina's firm waistline. Hammer and tongs belting - but Cox finally breaks. Christina's legs shimmy from attrition - she stumbles back in disarray: Jenny able to step-and-fetch a pair of lead rights to chin, nearly dropping Cox to her back at bell. Comes back the closest wide UD10 you'll ever see - Jenny O'Dell.

After: Jenny leaving her mark on Christina tonight - Cox all busted up and very shaky as Jenny finally pours through in the tenth, but O'Dell magnanimous in victory. "I knew we'd go the distance," O'Dell says in postfight. "Christina's too solid to blow away - I outclassed her, but she took some hellish shots from me without going down. This wouldn't have been as competitive in a real ring - I could see my footwork was way more educated than hers - but here I had to work like hell to get her off my chest. It's too bad she's such a bytchy little tramp: Christina can fight a little bit."
