TKO7 Aguilera
Christina stepping up in weight against a good boxer - Dunst happy to meet Aguilera at bantam as both girls look soft, but strong for this one.
As expected, Aguilera was the aggressor, coming forward with gloves at her chin, bobbing low at the waist and hooking her way inside to work. Kirsten had her boxing spots, retreating and picking Chris up with jabs and counter right hands, but time and again, Aguilera forced a high tempo, lashing, writhing brawl on Dunst which Kirsten seemed eager to accept. During exchanges, both girls kept their hips well back - either could swing at chin simply by standing up straight, or go back to the rib-lather by leaning in - once they got into range, the punching was continuous and two-way.
When a girl got rocked, it was Dunst, not liking Chris' clean right hands on the jaw after punishing strokes underneath, but after 5, Kirsten's consistent work and superior defence had her ahead on all cards. Aguilera though aggressive, was lumping up and taking a scrubbing to her face - going into the sixth, there was urgency in the singer's corner.
Chrissy responded - getting to Kirsten with rib-rattling, swarming punches, then landing a clocking right on the jaw that had Dunst hanging on in the 6th. In the seventh, Dunst didn't look right coming off her stool and Aguilera pounced like a little leopard. A full minute of slender-limbed body shots and chin-checks flowed forth - Kirsten groggy and stiff-legged at the ropes, now getting caught clean, not making Chris miss and the ref stepped in to halt the slaughter.
