Before: One of the bitterest rivalries in all of celebrity boxing, Campbell credited with derailing Theron’s career in two punish bouts that seemed to have drained Charlize physically and emotionally. Theron needs a crushing, convincing win to put this demon behind her, but Campbell unlikely to cooperate.

During R1: Crowd roars as the two tall beauties storm out of their corners, stand on wide spread legs and begin lashing one another with long arm salvoes. Gloves bash off foreheads, shoulders, chest and chin as both girls look simply to land leather, when suddenly a snapping left hook stops Naomi in her tracks, Campbell changes gears, shaking her heads and circling around Theron as the heavy handed blonde loads up. Campbell running the rest of the way, Theron chasing.

R2: Campbell seems gun shy as Theron walks her down and pounds to the lanky body of the super model this round. Driving short right hands to the center of the chest and wide, scooping lefts to the liver have Naomi bent over and hurting, and a clipping left under the chin puts Campbell on one knee midway through the second, Naomi beats the count, but is all knock kneed as she clatters around the ring, running away from Theron’s power once again.

R3, 4: Charlize gets in the drivers seat, establishing a punishing single jab to Naomi’s face, walking the model into the corners, and savaging the tall Nubian with lefts and rights to the flanks. Campbell seems shell shocked, unable to get off and taking a methodical beat down through 4.

R5: Naomi rediscovers the looping overhand right and mashes Charlize’ head against her shoulder with it to open the fifth. Theron suddenly groggy, stumbles forward and Campbell lashes her with wide lefts and rights to the jaw. Campbell spins Theron to the ropes and ails away with baseball-pitch right hands, smashing the blonde into a drunker haze as Theron’s gloves dip to her waist. Naomi punches herself out, and leans on the blonde as Charlize punches robotically in the clinch—big Campbell round as Theron staggers back to her corner.

R6: Naomi consolidates her good work, stepping around the still shaky blonde, measuring her with an open left, and lunging into single right hands over the top. Theron trying to find her legs, eats more leather this round, and her eyes begin to swell badly.

R7: All Naomi Campbell as she goes for the finish this round. Charlize is windblown, eyes half shut as Campbell bombs away with devastating overhand rights. Theron staggers around the ring, unable to defend, unable to punch as her legs tremble with the effort to stand. Campbell tackles Theron to the ropes, then leans into crushing right hands until the blonde can clinch in desperation. In the final minute, Naomi shoves Theron into her own corner, and launches a brutal frontal assault, holding Charlize with the left while slinging the right hand into the blonde’s swollen face. The bludgeoning attack finally has its effect as Theron sinks to all fours. She beats the count as Naomi barks at her from behind the ref, and is saved by the bell. Campbell goes chest to chest with the battered blonde and trash talks her until the referee can intervene. Disastrous round for Charlize as her corner breaks out the smelling salts and goes to work on those eyes.

R8: Naomi a little more reserved, not wanting to punch herself out, but she is still able to catch Theron coming in with another looping right to the temple. Charlize is wobbly, nearly defenceless, as she squares up and paws pathetically at Campbell as Naomi posts the shutout.

R9: Campbell starting to slow, Charlize with her gloves at her cheeks—the girls circle without throwing punches to open the round. Naomi continues to launch right hands, but Theron starts to block left and counter with her own short right inside, and soon Campbell is wobbly! Midway through the round, after nailing Campbell with repeated right hands, Charlize feints with the right and snaps off a short left hook to put Naomi on her backside. Campbell gets off her butt, stunned and is bullied to the ropes as Charlize puts together a pulverizing final minute.

R10: The fight ends as it began, with both girls going toe to toe and slugging it out with the crowd on its feet. Charlize starts strong then starts to fade, and she begins to get beaten to the punch bas Naomi slugs her back to the ropes. The final minute is all Campbell, swinging away, pasting Theron’s face this way and that, but unable to send a jolt through the blonde’ sturdy legs. Charlize sits on the ropes and takes to the bell as Campbell thrusts her gloves exhaustedly in the air, certain of victory. After a long delay, the decision comes back—a slim, one point victory for Charlize Theron!

After: Naomi Campbell is heartbroken with the decision, screaming “Politics” afterwards as Charlize is escorted to her dressing room for the usual medical attention, Still, it was 2 knockdowns to  1 for Charlize, with plenty of heavy leather landed by both women in between. Close fight, and Theron ekes out a best of three margin against Campbell, but still has never clearly dominated her fiery rival.
