Expected shootout never emerges as Natasha does her best Wladimir Klitschko imitation—fighting tall, using her jab, and pushing off the right foot to control Laura out at arm’s length.

Prepon proved herself a sturdy gun platform herself—mirroring Henny’s strong-legged, flat-footed stance and circling with Natasha at midring. The difference would be Henstridge’s busier, more intrusive jab as the older vixen often attempted three or four times as many pokes, dotting Prepon’s face and keeping her on the defensive much of the evening.

Both women showed so much respect for the other’s right hand that the punch would never play the decisive role expected of it. Henstridge hurt Prepon late (R8) with a pounding one-two and had Laura swaying on the spot—but the game ingénue was able to clinch her way out of the round, getting herself together like a veteran.
