Before: "Oh, it was devastating," Natasha says of her banishment by Mandy in their most famous encounter. "She took everything away from me - I was out of Foxfire, I was out of boxing. It was a low, low point for me, and I'll admit, I moped for months after that loss. But bit by bit I got myself together, and I realized that she'd gotten lucky - that's really all it was - one lucky right hand - and that I couldn't quit because of something like that. Then the Krushers picked me up, and Erica demolished Kaley - which was really inspirational to me - and here we are. I've got a lot of demons to battle in this fight and I'm not leaving until they're slain. Mandy's gonna need a hell of a lot more than one punch to turn me back this time!"

Moore also recounting her annihilation of Natasha in prefight. "You know - as glad as I am to see Natasha back in the ring and feeling good about herself again - knocking her out made my career. We were fighting for a spot on Foxfire; where would I be if I hadn't won that? And when I destroyed her - we're talking about the knockout of the year, and KO1 over a respected veteran - it immediately vaulted me into contention. After laying Natasha down, I had everyone's respect - it legitimized me in a way nothing else could have. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of putting her out of boxing, at least for a while. So yes, I'm happy for Nat and I do wish her luck, but a small part of me wants to do it all over again, you know? Crushing her again would really cement my name over hers for all time - that's something to think about."

Mandy in dark purple bikini; black gloves; beach-bun hair. Nat in camouflage bikini with halter-style top and belted bottoms; black gloves; hair tied off her face.

During R1: Heavy handed shelling - both ways. Mandy working Natasha's waist via thick rights and lefts; stepping into a firm jab up the middle; leaning into right hands up top; always bringing the mitts back to her temples to reset. Nat keeping dukes at temples, elbows in tight - she's dipping side-to-side, weaving close, then snik-snakking her fists in tight, chopping arcs against Mandy's waist and ribs. Nat curling short right uppercuts through the middle - following up with hooks - she's keeping her elbow in during delivery, nice n' tight. Lots of punches for welterweights - Mandy's jab helping her to set the table and retain initiative for much of a close, back and forth first.

R2: Back at it - girls basically trading toe-to-toe - occasionally bumping foreheads, but never smothering each other. Minute mark - Natasha chops that tidy right/left to Mandy's waist, dips and comes up top via short left uppercut even as she tastes Mandy's hook. Both women race for short right hands - Nat wins and MOORE GOES DOWN! Jolting blast in close toggles Mandy's chin, drops her to her back with a crash: Henstridge nostrils flaring, stomps past, glaring down in smouldering satisfaction. Shabby 8, Moore - eyes blinking, thighs trembling: she's hurt, digs in at apron to receive Natasha. Henny moves in big-girl to work: blonde keeping dukes up/elbows in - leaning in with her forehead or either shoulder to bump and stabilize Mandy for the thump to come. Moore slumping into ropes, slugging back beefy: she's got her hands at her temples, teeth bared as she grimly fights to deny Natasha an even bigger round. Fairly close action after the knockdown - Henstridge on top, working hard: she huffs and puffs, but can't blow Mandy's door down through 2.

R3,4: Change of tack for Moore. She's been throwing too many punches, trading heavily with Natasha and getting the worst of it: now Mandy switches to punch-n'-clutch, looking to smother receipts. Moore with that heavy, slamming jab controlling Nat's position; Mandy in off the poke with slinging right hands, then tummying up, swamping Natasha in brawny clinches. Henstridge grimacing with the effort of pushing against Moore; wrestling against Moore's rounded limbs and brawny shoulders: pace slackens as Mandy establishes sloppy control of her blonde.

R5: Nat shows a bit of a jab - just enough to problematize Mandy's approach: return to free-swinging action results. Girls fighting at close, but not smothering range - each digging fiercely at opposing paunch, then looking for uppercuts and hooks up top. Crowd roaring with glee: rarely see two big women punch this energetically, with such rhythmic vigour. Both girls landing heavy to body; swivelling chins: backsides and legs put to the test as each women sponges wallop. When both score and the action is constant - Natasha tends to come forward, outslugging her rival in brutal confines.

R6: Natasha continues to press the pace, taking the fight to Mandy. Henstridge's jab making a difference: she's finding Mandy with it, pre-empting her, and establishing a little distance - just enough to ensure both women are slugging shoulder to shoulder. Nat turning her attention to Mandy's arms and pecs this round - systematically working at the younger woman's ability to sustain offensive operations. Moore backing up, teeth bared: she's being narrowly, but consistently beaten up in the exchanges. Glorious stuff for welterweights - girls punching themselves ragged in these action rounds. Both getting enswell in respective corners: they're bustin' up.

R7: Mandy outjabs Natasha; gets to Nat's midsection via sidearm right roundhouses; reaches in to clinch, smother, and scrape away right uppercuts while holding Nat behind the head. Moore cobbling together a nice ugly round of punch-n'-clutch: touching Nat in the body, scuffing her up up top, holding her, walking her around. Henstridge starting to bog down, getting frustrated: she spends most of her time trying to pull her arms free, or push her opponent off - mostly to no avail.

R8: Great round, Natasha Henstridge. She jabs stiffly, punching Mandy on her mouth and chest to keep her off - then steps into Moore with chopping rights and lefts. Nat keeping that rigid earmuff in place - her elbows in tight to her body: when she gets off, it's always compact, chopping stuff with plenty of back and legs behind the blows. Moore wilting under the withering assault - she's being systematically hacked upon her arms, in her ribs and tummy, on her flanks and head. Nat walking Mandy down, beating her - Henstridge proving terrifically fit, clearly enjoying the benefits of the Krusher sweatbox as she sustains a thudding pace late. Bell to bell Natasha: Moore lumping up nicely, looking downcast as she's clearly worked over in the 8th.

R9: Mandy spirited, shakes off her disappointment, returns to dominate Natasha in turn. Moore bodying up, walking Nat around, walking Nat to ropes, holding and hitting until ref's breaks. Moore working the body - scoring with the right roundhouse on the approach, then tucking either mitt into Natasha's torso while smothering her. Henstridge strong on in the inside, but uncomfortable shortening up her stroke: Moore much more adept at the cuffing, swatting action required to score in tummy-to-tummy fighting.

R10: Pace has slowed, but it's still steady and crowd-pleasing: Natasha jabbing for a little distance, establishes slugging room. Moore accepting the terms, banging away in kind: she's effective, it's just she's not AS useful at this as Natasha. Wonderful sight of two big women hunched over in tight guards, taking turns licking each other over, bumping each other back, walking each other down. Thick, strapping slugfest favours Natasha once again: she smiles sweaty at the bell - banged up, but happy to have erased the memory of that nightmarish KO1 loss. Comes back UD10 close - Natasha Henstridge.

After: 5 rounds a piece - Nat's knockdown holds up as the difference maker as these two fight like angry peas in a pod all night long. Henny may be a hardnosed badass, but she's blinking back emotional tears in postfight. "That was a huge, huge monkey off my back," says the rejuvenated big Nat. "I stepped to her and outworked her. I hurt her, I dropped her: she never hurt me. What people don't realize about Mandy is how smart she is for a young fighter: she realized she was getting smoked, and completely changed what she was doing. That made it really close, but I was just too strong and too determined. Mandy needs luck to beat me, and it just wasn't on her side tonight."
