Before: Battle of the proteges - McCarthy always the instigator and antagonizer, but she's had a history of pushing girls too far and paying the price - Neve Campbell one who thinks Jen's done it again. "Kelly's the most improved fighter in boxing, to my mind," says Neve. "She's made the conversion to American style pro boxing, she sets down on her punches, and there's no way Jenny can take that right hand. I think Brook can have her way, I really do." McCarthy bombastic as always at the dais: "Don't worry boys - the jug-mugging I'm gonna give Kelly? She'll be seriously considering early retirement when I'm done! Anywhere I look on Kelly I see soft and weak - the extra pounds of flab she's bringing in don't worry me a bit." Kelly in silver/white underwire pushup and panties, Jenny Mac in black bikini, underwire top. Jenny animated during instructions, batting her mitts together and mugging at an impassive Kelly throughout.

During R1: Jenny looking to showcase her superior handspeed, chopping combinations from brow-high guard - brisk right hands and hooks to the head and shoulders of Brook, then stepping to the side behind a solid jab to the body. Kelly wide eyed, not shying away - she's getting cuffed and buffeted, but walking through it, finding Jenny with an extended jab in the chest and midway through: girls trade smoking rights on the chin - JENNY STAGGERS AWAY HURT! Kelly regrouping quickly, hops in to carry a swinging right underhand to vulnerable blonde tummy - Jenny butt back, groaning forward - clinching desperately for a break. Kelly moving in strong, fluttering the jab at Jenny's face, then driving down into midsection that straight right, mopping up a hook flat against Jenny's shoulder - McCarthy wounded, covering up, stooping forward. Brook batting at the flanks and arms, then palming to steady Jenny for more - blonde tucked away behind her guard riding it out. Down the stretch Brook ROMPS TO RACK! Kelly using uppercuts to slice between Jenny's barn-door defence - blonde slumping forward, grimacing as Kelly crams away right/lefts to the moneymakers. Bell - Kelly taking an extra right hand flat on Jenny's taut tummy - ref jumps in - tempers flaring already as Kelly claws out the first.

R2: Jenny resilient, sucks it up on her stool, comes out strong and quick in the second. Lots of lateral movement, sudden direction changes, McCarthy utilizing her underrated boxing skills to make Kelly move her feet. Jenny picking her spots to angle in and get off in clusters - she's definitely the quicker-mitted girl in close. Mac scoring in twos and threes, then falling off the side - Brook still coming forward but cleanly touched up for points this round.

R3: Kelly committing to that lancing right hand, extending the left to measure Jenny, then leaning in with 100% Brook behind the bombs. Mac not cooperating, using her feet to step out and circle, moving her head well. Jenny showing a lot of respect, not landing much herself, but she's using the ring, making Kelly move more than she likes, walking her into the odd scrubbing flurry.

R4: Jenny loading up more now - but it's to the body: juicy wide right hands on the ribs, doubled up hooks, then canny clinches behind the elbow to tie Brook up for breaks. Kelly obviously frustrated by the gameswomanship, but also still humming right hands - she's not connecting, but Mac has no choice but to bail and be choosy on the attack.

R5: Mac a little bolder - signs of fatigue on Brook as British girl steps flat footed, pawing the jab and velocity on the right's coming down. Jenny potshotting Kelly's body with swinging right hands under Brook's jab - brunette stiffening, slowing - Jenny able to step inside and work with more authority, now initiating trade and getting the better of two way slugging. Brook teeth clenched, keeping her elbows in, dukes up - but Jenny's outworking her, finding ways to put leather on belly and scoring with uppercuts to the chin. Final minute, both girls leaning into rights, coming back with hooks - dangerous biting trade and BROOK GOES DOWN! Concussive hook upside the head drops Kelly to her backside - she's up, but swaying badly for a shaky 8. On comes Jenny and MAC WANTS RACK! Jenny pinning her ears back and bringing the crowd to it's feet - helping herself to heaping handfuls of jug as poor Brook slouches hurt in the ropes. Kelly paralyzed with pain, reaching forward to clinch: Jenny nice n' compact, twisting side to side to get tidy lefts and rights a-clouting jugs and jaw, stepping back in good order to pile up the points. Brook clocked, tagged, and walloped as she stumbles forward - Jenny sidesteps to let big brunette flounder face-first into the ropes at the bell. Kelly's legs gone - she's holding herself up by the top rope - McCarthy pounds away to the buttocks with chugging mayhem - grinning wildly until ref pulls her away. Brook badly rattled, woozy and embarrassed as she wanders back to her corner.

R6: Jenny feels it - can't wipe the smile off her face. Jenny engaging Kelly in two fisted brawling, simply out-working the brunette toe to toe, nailing bigger girl two to one and keeping her off balance. By the midpoint, Brook's backside's a-wobble - she's reaching to clinch and JENNY'S WALKING HER INTO PUNCHES! McCarthy sliding back, keeping her hands free, tidying up Brook's hulking rack, clobbering her face side to side with short-arm clouts. Kelly reaching up high on Mac, tying up around the neck, but Jenny keeps hands free, discouraging the clinch with robust lefts and rights trunks and tummy. Brook groaning, stumbling, shipping shots - she reels to the ropes with a blank expression and JENNY'S ALL OVER HER! Jenny tearing away at what's left - helping herself to jug, pounding away hooks and crosses to the face, falling in accidentally, then shoving up to get more punching room - it's CARNAGE! Brook reaching pathetically, Brook out on her feet, Brook staring blankly into punishment and BROOK GOES DOWN! Hail of McCarthy artillery finally bludgeons Brook to her face - brunette rolls to her back, trying to shake off the KO but it's NO GO! KO6 in thrilling fashion - Jenny Mac!

After: Busted up Brook sobbing quietly on her stool as she's tended to - Jenny acting a fool, climbing corner ropes, pounding her chest and hooting. Camera catches Ali Landry standing, clapping - Ryan sitting with crossed arms, pursed lips, chin in as she stares stoically into the ring. Mac finally pushes her way through the crowd with a big strapping grin on her face - she wants a little sugar from devastated Kelly. HBO quickly cuts to 'Swan Lake' - we'll have to rely on a Samdog report for the aftermath of this tempestuous brawl.
