Dushku's still a great fighter - I make her the 3rd or 4th best bantam in the division - but I've surpassed her physically, mentally and technically now and I'm looking forward to proving it."

R3: DUSHKU RIGHT HAND! Eliza gambling now, lunging in and catching Jennifer's jaw a bending beauty - Connelly's backside jangling as she staggers back, hands outstretched in momentary confusion. DUSHKU WADES IN! Eliza forward with swinging rights and lefts up underneath - bludgeoning work to the ribcage puts Jennifer ropeside. Eliza intent, eyes hard as she props Jennifer up a stabilizing jab, then rips the right uppercut, resets behind her guard, then rips hook to liver. Connelly groaning, but keeping her hands up - she leans forward - girls forehead to forehead - both looking to dig and rip away at point blank range. HAMMER AND TONGS as Connelly joins in - she's answering ever shot as classy brunettes dig in and look to harm one another. Spanking body shots ring out, carving uppercuts pick up chins, chopping rights clang away ear/jaw - it's breathtaking two-way hacking. DUSHKU'S LEGS BUCKLE! Final minute action - searing give and take finally hits Eliza in the knees - she staggers away to her right, shaking her head - Jen steps-with and sends a CRASHING right into Eliza's unprotected jaw! Head-swivel Dushku - hands drop as she tilts out to her right and ELIZA GOES DOWN! Dushku rolling to her back, feet pushing weakly at canvas but she's SO out! KO3 in heartpounding fashion, Jennifer Connelly.

After: Connelly still seething, glaring down at Dushku's prostrate frame - bloodlust and adrenaline taking over the usually cerebral brunette's demeanor. "Very early on in camp," Jennifer explains in postfight, "we made a conscious decision to fight Eliza this time rather than box her. I took this fight to a place she didn't want to go - I probably couldn't have kept up the tempo more than a round or two more, but I knew I was hurting her and that kept me going. Not many girls have gone right at Eliza hard - I knew she wouldn't be prepared for it and I've always felt she couldn't take my punch - it was exactly the right approach to take with her." (SIDEBAR: How 'bout Dushku/Pressly? Dominant vixens both laid low this time out, redemption is exactly one fight away. It's a match up we probably don't see often enough, and we have a rare chance to give one of these strong fighters a mini-slump. What's not to like?)
