Lacking the firepower to truly stagger Courtney, Callista fought an uptempo hit-and-run type fight, using the ring well, galloping shameless away from trouble, and tainting the reserved blonde to keep Smiths temper simmering, Though the first half of the fight, Courtney found herself arriving late to Callista’s chosen battle-grounds, and when she got there, Court would be forced to cover up under a pelting scrub of raindrop lefts and rights as Flockhart beat her foe to punches. Smith’s pressure and weight of shot would ultimately prove decisive, but Callista made things interesting, emerging with a slim points lead after 5 pesky rounds of boxing.

In the end, Callista’s trim legs were unable to absorb Courtney’s well-conceived ribcage attack, and as blonde hooks started to dig home with more consistency, slender Flockhart became more available to Smith’s tidy combinations. Once Courtney established herself shoulder-to-shoulder with Flockhart, the jig was up. Breaking down rapidly, Callista was unable to sustain, or turn the tide, and was saved from merciless barrage at the ropes midway through the 8^th round.
