Before: McCarthy sampling the '04 rookie class - great looking blonde/brunette match up. Jenny rugged and versatile - "I'll brawl this chick," she shrugs, dismissing De La Garza with the gesture, "what I'm looking at - I don't see a lot of heart. I'm gonna press the pace, put hands on Alana - see what she's made of." De La Garza winning hearts in prefight with demure looks and batting eyelashes - she'll need more than sexy ways to keep Jenny off for 10 rounds. Black bikini McCarthy - electric blue bikini De La G.

During R1,2: Mac relying on power from the right side, landing the heavier shots - De La Garza boxing smoothly, showing leg, a popping jab and some greasy lead right/left hook combos. Alana stepping to either side, hands gathered at her chin, elbows in - nice and relaxed as she manages a strong blonde early.

R3: Shutout De La Garza. Alana goes to the body, paving the way with a jab between Jenny's eyes, then spank-spank right/left on the waist. De La Garza circling, eyes flashing - she's patting Jenny down jabs or stinging her slinky lead rights from outside, keeping McCarthy covered up. Alana taking a little jug now and then - stepping in, going rack with a tidy right/left uppercut combo, then pivoting off to the left rather than hanging around. Jenny unhurt, but getting touched plenty, not releasing her hands through 3.

R4: Better round for Jen - she cuts off the ring, lands high on the head with rights, mops up jug with follow-on hooks - Alana's on the defensive. De La Garza rolling her torso at the ropes, slipping well, moving her head - Mac compensating with a beefy midriff attack, pushing up on Alana's shoulders to expose taut brunette waist.

R5: Steady diet of oily lead right hands from Alana as she slides to her right - Jenny taking on her jaw, staring back - it's a recipe for destruction. All dialed in, brunette starts pulling lanky hooks across Jenny's face, tagging blonde rights and lefts, stepping to the side - splendid potshotting fare. DOWN GOES JENNY! Mac soaking up shellack, facing into blows - attrition suddenly hits her in the knees and she sputters to all fours, shaking her woozy head. Mac up, but sluggish after 8 - Alana fresh-legged, loping around Jenny, slicing and slashing at her from outside, stepping in to deposit her body shots in thumping twos.

R6: Alana taking the round off, very leggy as she traverses the ring - Jenny stoically following, looking to bring decisive battle. Blonde the aggressor, but she can't get the toe to toe exchanges she's been looking for - Alana doing a nice job turning Mac, keeping off the ropes and beating Jenny to punches tonight.

R7: Lead right hands from Alana the story - Jenny just taking the shots on her chin like she's not seeing or expecting them. De La G back with rangy hooks, sliding to either side after landing the left hand to head or body on Jenny. De La Garza stepping up the pace, ringing Jenny up those introductory rights, licking midsection sticking right/lefts, tarting up those jugs with either mitt, constantly wheeling and stepping around. Mac shabby, breaking down - she tries to find De La Garza with a reaching left and eats a shattering counterright in return. Mac bunches up, lead foot jerking up off the canvas - she hops to all fours once again as De La Garza struts past. Jenny up at 10, but THE REF WAVES IT OFF! Glassy eyed, stunned, Jenny limp and expressionless as the man hugs her to safety. TKO7 in workmanlike fashion Alana De La Garza.

After: Wow - McCarthy dismantled in steady fashion, Alana dictating with her legs, hammering away outside and in - just a very complete, professional display. "I'm happy with what I did," Alana smiles in post fight. "Jenny's a tough cookie, but she got old tonight - I felt like I was in total control right from the first round. I think I proved I belong right up there with Erica and Amanda - I don't think they've separated themselves from me at all." McCarthy disconsolate - outclassed tonight, knocked down, stopped. "How do you think I feel?" snaps Jen at a nosy Tractorpull scribe. "I just showed my ass to a two-bit punk who doesn't deserve to be in the same ring with me. I'm so sick of this 'rookie class' BS. I'll beat Erica and Amanda - and I'll hammer this tramp Alana any time they care to take it. This tonight? This didn't happen. Not to me."
