Before: Potential prize for the winner of this fight is a date with Demi Moore, Shue coming off back to back demolitions is expected to bring the fight to the slick Asian, and many expect the blonde to expose Lucy as more a gimmick than anything else. Both did well against common opponent Courtney Thorne-snmith. Liz wears black two piece aerobics wear, against Lucy in black jogbra, red high cut aerobics bottoms.

During: Lucy’s stare down on onece again intense, but Liz not intimidated—the two women go forehead to forehead during the instructions and have to be separated.

R1: Liu dazzles early unorthodox foot and body positioning, leading to some smacking counter shots, but Shue is all meats and potatos. Liz soon cuts off the ring and pounds the beef around the Asian’s waist, bringing Lucy to a flat footed halt. Round ends with lucy trapped on the ropes, getting a lesson in trench warfare from the ex-gymnast. Liz continues punching after the bell, and the ref intercedes.

R2: Another punishing round for Lucy as Liz tracks her down, bobbing up and down, crossing her arms, picking off Lucy’s shots, then setting up inside. Liu can fight a little on the inside, but she doesn’t like having the blonde all over her and is clearly feeling the weight of Liz’s relentless tummy shots. Sgie does a lot of holding and hitting, preventing Liu from using her mobility, and just frustrating the brunette in general. More post-bell shenanigans as tempers flare once again.

R3: Don’t blink. Confident Elizabeth wades in to Lucy and BOOM! Liu leaps in with a lead right uppercut between the mitts to stagger the blonde. Shue in trouble, covers up, but gets clocked a hard shot to the ear with Lucy’s follow up left. Lucy simply steps into Liz, unleashing bombs with her whole body and another crashing uppercut puts Shue on her back. Liz gets up at 10, but one look into her glazed eyes convinces the ref to stop it. KO Lucy Liu as she struts the ring in triumph.

After: Liu seems to be for real, ripping the fight from Elizabeth’s grasp just as the blonde seemed to be imposing her will. Remains to be seen whether the Moore fight will come off—Demi’s people had been counting in a Shue victory.
