Liz Rohm presents a formidable figure on the scales when you see her. Solidly built, strong limbs, power-puncher's calves, well conditioned - she's one of those girls who seems built for combat. Add to that keen intelligence and experience hard-won in the daytime fighting mills and you wonder why she hasn't shaken up the countryclub in the FCBA. Proving that her LAO-role-winning fight with Rohm (ejecting Liz from the plum role) was no fluke, Alana proved even more dominant in dashing the hopes and dreams of her erstwhile blond rival in this rematch.

Despite prefight promises from Rohm to be the aggressor and take the fight to Alana - it was De La Garza announcing herself with the first serious punches of the contest: a pair of lanky, cranking left hooks square to the trunks of the willing blond. The vicious fouls seemed to suck the will right out of Liz - crippled and moping, she stumbled forward looking awkward and achy as De La Garza proceeded to strap on the butt kicking.

Pinpointing Liz's pretty face with stiff jabs and stinging straight right hands - Alana circled her prey, banged away and softened Liz up. With Rohm breaking down, De La Garza stamped a pair of lead rights off Liz's forehead, then cashed her in with a curling, Trinidad-esque hook to chin. Flapping to her back - Liz was able to roll to her knees, but no farther - shaking her head in devastated wonder as the 10 count passed her by.
