She's been tucked away up North most of her career, but emancipated by HMK she's showing large on her first FCBA PPV, swaggering confidently through prefight, seemingly eager to get at her opponent. Rohm another former WB alumni, seen by many as having turned her back on her roots with a snooty assignment on the award-winning Law and Order - she's no cupcake for a televised debut.

During R1: Professional looking stances, good balance, hands up, elbows in - girls looking to mix it up, stepping-to each other midring. Trade in hooks and ROHM SITS DOWN! Erica's eyes dancing as she struts to a neutral corner - Rohm up quick but jazzed: eyes wide with respect for Durance' effortless power. Rest of the way an Erica Durance showcase - she gets Rohm against the ropes and breaks out the crowbar. Body and head, Durance working Rohm over - systematic, controlled aggression - D bringing her hands back sharp to her center, snapping loud shots off Rohm's breadbasket and flanks to bring the guard down, picking chin up opportunistic hooks and uppercuts. Bell to bell - Rohm wobbly butt, more than a little stunned - she got HANDLED in the first.

R2: Breezy shutout Durance. Erica managing Rohm's weight like an old pro - gently knuckling the blonde's shoulders to step her back, bodying up to walk her around - brunette always coming forward, imposing her will. Good tidy punching, Erica starting in the midsection, methodically working her way up torso, biting tight to the jaw and chin. Not a lot of wasted punches, everything's short, crisp and hard-hearted. Rohm hard pressed around the ring - demoralizing retreat for a proud blonde - she's spending too much time soaking up punishment against the ropes.

R3: Bell to bell Durance. Rohm a classy fighter being made to look ordinary - difference is the thudding weight of Durance's fists. Erica moving Rohm even when hitting her guard or shoulder. Getting pretty easy - Durance enjoying long, showy sequences with Rohm slouching at the ropes - brunette tanning the ribcage and tummy, using brawny shoulders to get her way in there, beating her way past the guard with straightforward clout. 3 consecutive shutouts: Rohm busting up around the eyes, obviously rattled - she's never been bullied like this in a boxing match.

R4: Signs of life from Rohm - she gets the jab out, beats Erica to the punch and lands a lively right hand early to get a smidge of respect. Durance not going anywhere but unable to come forward with impunity - she hunkers down shoulder to shoulder for tactical slugging midring. Good stuff - girls behind blocking guards, heads and hands in close, touching and nudging each other for position then snatching at targets of opportunity. Again, Durance's heavier weight of shot prevails - Rohm steadily pressed and walked down - but at least 'Liz is trading.

R5: Durance' hook: sharp, clanging blow finds Rohm's chin, swivels blonde head early - Rohm all wobbly butt, stepping in fence post holes to the ropes. Liz wounded, digging in - Durance able to square up and work unmolested once again. Erica very patient for a debuting fighter - setting up chin tucked, knuckles touching on Rohm before digging in her punches. Good beefy waist-work, Rohm jerking, shuddering on impact, seemingly paralyzed. Tidy uppercuts and that robust hook splattering away to Rohm's right flank, ear. Shutout Durance - her fourth!

R6: Rohm breaks up the no-hitter, getting on top with the jab, landing a straight right cross, mopping up the hook in Durance' tummy: time to see how the brunette takes it. Erica maintaining her guard - she's just taking the round off, recharging. Rohm getting off with showy 3 punch combos - tic-tac on the body is scoring but toe up top not getting through. Durance not moving her head much as she sits in the pocket - she's trusting her strong body and tight guard, but she's more or less there for Rohm's workmanlike punches.

R7: Durance shows her own jab, neatly knocking Rohm's face back and forcing retreat on the blonde. First minute action - Durance shaves a nasty right past Rohm's chin, frightening her. 'Liz looking to counter with a hook - right idea but she's a heartbeat too late: Durance' hook cashes in first - GORGEOUS head-torque as Liz' hook sprays wide. Blonde out before she hits the mat - and she hits the mat like she she's been shot. KO7 Erica Durance.

After: Elizabeth Rohm devastated - sprawled on her back and out for many long moments - it's probably the worst beating of her career topped off by the most crushing KO she's ever suffered. Durance strutting happy and why not? Impressive debut lays a rugged blonde out cold - plenty of camera time for brunette as she finishes up early. "I'm ready right now for the cream," says a confident square-jawed beauty. "That's Garner, Biel, Theron, I'll take belts from Nolin, Landry - you name it. I'm TOO GOOD right now for the second tier pretenders - that's O'Dell, Carpenter, Ryan, that cheesy slut Taylor Cole, that used up hag Casta - you know, workhorse type girls. And I'll just plain HURT everyone else. And I'm not saying that to stir up a bunch of shite, I'm just speaking from the heart and letting you know where I'm at.
