Garner looking to gather wins, hone her ability seems :just happy to be here” in a high profile bout—Wilson with all the animosity, feeling the pressure from Jenny come lately. “You know what happens to cheap knock offs,” coos Aussie in pre-fight, “They get knocked OUT. There’s nothing about her show, or her character, that I haven’t done before and I’m really looking forward to putting her in her place.”

During R1: Girls meet at midring for routine trade—Peta covers up as Jen slashes away across the belly with surprising hooks. Jenny really beefing it in, suddenly comes off the body with a clipping left uppercut off Peta’s overhanging face and WILSON GOES DOWN! Stunned Peta shoot back to her buttocks and looks dazed, stuff to her feet for 8. Garner with serious expression, pounding the jab against Peta’s left eye, stepping in close to bang that hook off the abdomen, then turning into a whistling right cross to send Peta heavily to the ropes. Furious batting beat down as Wilson lolls forward hurt—Jenny raking her with hooks to the right flank, dipping her shoulder to pick up the face with a little right uppercut—it’s all too much. Peta drops wearily to all fours to relieve the pressure, dazzled by the brunette’s hard punching and sharpshooting accuracy. Credit Peta with guts: she digs down in the final minute, trading lefts and rights to the face with Jennifer, backing the brunette up step by step in crowd pleasing action to avoid the shutout.

R2: Peta bounces her jab off Jennifer’s face, interrupting the brunette’s advance, gets garner backing up. Blonde stabs downwards with the stick, ramming it to the belly, then arcs over the top with a slashing right hand and GARNER IS HURT! Jenny covering up, getting buffeted one foot to the other as Peta steps into her with snapping lefts and rights upstairs. Garner hits the ropes in a trance, gloves at her temples and Peta goes to work! Right/left hard to the belly, right hand on the eye sends Jenny sliding along the ropes to her right. Peta stepping with her, systematically right/left to the stomach, clubbing right hand on the eye—brunette staggering to her right, finally hits the corner. All Peta Wilson, getting brawny on Jennifer, showing the brunette her strength., bodying G into the turnbuckles, piling on to the body and head with short, pumping punches. Garner lolling, trying to clinch—Peta reaches into her black bag if tricks to keep the hurt coming. Wilson not shy about using the elbow smash in close, bashing in Jenny’s gloves or scoring to the mouth as the brunette tries to smother. Peta keeping Jen in the corner, reaching a thumb into the baqck of the brunette’s trunks, anchoring her by the waistband for marauding right hands in tight. Bell sounds. Peta pulled off her swooning opponent—blonde gets 10-8 without a knockdown and BOTH women are busted up, hurting after just 2!

R3: Garner gets classy, shooting her jab to eyes and chest, keeping Peta on the outside, using the ring on the blonde. Wilson cutting off the ring, but getting peppered—defensively the blonde’s a little too uptight, hands at chest level, Garner spiking the ace at will, testing the belly with straight right hands and sidestepping for a shutout this round.

R4: Garner continues to control the center of the ring, steering Peta with the jab and dropping the opportunistic right hand. Wilson continues to press effectively, keeping her guard high, blocking to get close, hen dipping side to side to bounce sudden strokes across Garner’s ribcage, backing the brunette up. Peta controls the final minute, pounding Jennifer up against the ropes—Garner bending forward to clinch around the waist, gives her back for a savage kidney swabbing that almost has the brunette taking a knee at the bell.

R5: Peta strong in the first minute, steering garner with that grip on the waistband, pulling the brunette into right hands. Jen clinches for a break and begins to box in the middle minute, opening up the canvas with her legs and sharpshooting Peta as the blonde walks her down. Cute stuff from the newcomer as she retreats, walking Peta into zesty right hand counters over the jab, then spinning out to either side as Wilson misses over the top.

R6: More of that toe to toe trading to the face, girls hunches forward, bending slightly side to side to pull snapping punches off one another’s skulls—it’s action that clearly favours Peta as she backs Jenny up. Garner steps out and circles counterclockwise behind her jab for a minute, but down the stretch, hard hooking Peta bangs her girl to the ropes, trunks up on her, and her way with bashing right hands and elbows in close. Garner starting to look used0—she’s mouth breathing, getting the worst of the exchanges as Peta looks a bully after 6.

R7: Jenny banging hard, trying to get Peta’s respect, holding her own midring with that crazy, side to side face trade, Wilson slowly getting the upperhand, forcing Garner back, dimming Jennifer’s eyes with harsh, biting punches to the head. Peta stuns Jenny a right/left across the face, sets and DIGS a short right hand up into the sternum—brunette sinks to a seat on the ropes, ashen faced, gloves meek at her temple as Wilson squares away. Brawny blonde beat down to the bell—Jennifer rolling with punches but getting clobbered—Peta hopping away with a spring in her step at the bell.

R8: Peta feels it—she comes on strong with batting, sweeping strokes to buffet Jenny all around the ring in the first minute. Garner ragged, but slipping and dodging well, clattering from pillar to post, but keeping her back off the ropes, getting her bearings as Wilson gets reckless. Midway through, Garner stepping back in good order, picks Peta up with a little cheek hook, steps back, gets the hook again, then walks Wilson into a JOLTING little right hand inside—all back and legs behind the chip as Garner bends in and down—Peta knock-kneed, swaying helplessly over her feet. Jennifer steps back, letting her girl fall forward, brushing Peta’s sleepy lips with the jab, then SLAMMING a short right hand/forearm to the side of the face as Wilson topples in and PETA GOES DOWN! Wilson slumbering on her face out COLD—a battered Jenny G staggering away the sudden KO8 victor.

After: Savage black ops style fighting—Garner with the don’t-hurt-me eyes a cold killer when it comes to the hard stuff—Peta surviving a disastrous first round to hurt her girl merciless in the second—this fight was even going into the 8^th. High quality brawling leaves Peta devastated—Garner proves she’s the real thing at the blonde’s expense and starts climbing the rungs at lightweight.
