BEFORE: "It's crazy that I'm not fighting more," Lee Lee tells assembled press in prefight. "I could be taking things away from Mandy Moore and I've been letting the opportunity slip away. I'm already really good - that's not the issue: I just need to sharpen up, get some rounds and put mitts on meat, you know?"

Virginia happy to oblige...and she's skeptical of Lee Lee's claims to quality. "Lee Lee's got good size and I've always liked her attitude," Madsen allows, "but you can't just be a tourist and make it in the FCBA. She's a young 'un, and I know I said I wouldn't do that again, but I've got some ideas about Lee Lee's body I want to test out and I think I can get things done against her. We'll see: I'm prepared to spot her a few years in exchange for the experience edge I'll be bringing in. It's a good swap!"

Virginia with cascading gold locks down her back; baby blue lace push up (titanic), sturdy navy bottoms; white gloves. Lee Lee in simple matte black bikini; black gloves - blonde hair in a darker shade than Madsen's gilded tangles.

During R1: Both women doing the big-girl shuffle: deliberate clockwise stepping and pivoting midring. Lee Lee popping the jab, spotting it body, breasts and head, keeping Madsen's defence occupied. Lee Lee occasionally extending the left out straight, measuring, then rifling a straight, stiff right - punching back Madsen's head with authority. Sobieski poking and pounding to good effect in the first.

R2: Similar stepping, turning rhythm - Lee Lee getting off, Madsen witnessing. Methodical shelling of Virginia yields dividends as Lee Lee pounds straight hands through to face, breasts, tummy: multiple strikes send Virginia wobbling to her knees half way through. Madsen beats count, but she's clearly alarmed: out on the end of Lee lee's measured shots, Virginia's vulnerable. Final minute a good one for Lee Lee: measuring with extended left, she drives home a stream of thumping right hands - knocking back Virginia's staring face and dropping her to butt at the bell. Huge 10-7 heat, sends Lee Lee to corner with big smile, big lead.

R3: Virginia jabs first, keeping Lee Lee's guns holstered: big blonde able to work to Sobieski's ribcage, paunch this round. Madsen thick, punishing to the body - leaning in close to pull thudding right/left roundhouses into Lee Lee's torso: Sobieski's legs start to give way in the second minute. Just like that, Virginia gets the knockdowns back - dropping Lee Lee gasping to all fours with brutal, bashing bodywork. Nothing fancy: Madsen puffing hair out of her eyes, stalking away from the knockdowns with hands on hips - just heavy leather being applied to the problem of Lee Lee Sobieski.

R4: Madsen continues to mount pressure: Lee Lee firming in the face of it...big-woman slugging exchanges ensue. Good, thumping stuff - women taking turns clobbering each other about the arms/flanks, pecs/breasts, paunches/hips. Big splashy whacks - girls wincing, stepping away behind raised guards, breathing hurt through pursed lips. Madsen heavier handed with this curling, roundhouse style delivery: Lee Lee needs to extend on punches to be at her best.

R5: Hard two way punching continues at a stepping, methodical pace. Big women beat at each other, then palm up, push off - each taking her turn walking the other down. Disengaging, they walk to their right, hands at stomachs, each breathing hard, regrouping. Re-engaging, girls really pound hard to body - both convinced that victory's going to be earned from the waist up. Thumping and competitive...Lee Lee starting to come forward with a little authority by the end.

R6: Lee Lee fighting with Virginia as medium and close ranges, swapping roundhouses and covering up in turn: Sobieski works hard to get respect, fighting Virginia to a standstill in these exchanges. When Madsen disengages, Lee Lee's stepping in with the jab, touching big V to the body or forehead...measuring her with the extended left...drilling her with the heavy straight right. Madsen's head starting to kick back from right hands again - legs wobbling upon receipt: Lee Lee coming forward more and more, walking Virginia down. Sobieski beats Virginia wobbly butt with steady diet of driving rights, sending veteran staggering to her corner for break.

R7: Lee Lee sets out to humble Virginia's hulking rack - pounding away systematic via jabs, heavy-stamp right hands. Lee Lee well outside, extending: Madsen visibly distressed upon receipt of Sobieski's thump. Lee Lee walking Virginia down, pushing her in the shoulders, jabbing and crossing her. Madsen lumping up nicely, shying away, unable to do much offensively.

R8: Same again, Lee Lee methodical, setting a pace that's just a smidge too fast for Virginia: Madsen huffing and puffing a bit. Sobieski continues to bombard the rack jabs and crosses - really pounding away extended lefts and rights in there. Pecs also on the menu, and finally the biceps: Lee Lee showing veteran sensibility in mounting strategic bombing campaign against Virginia's fighting capacity. Madsen grimacing, punched to the perimeter: she's fighting back in spots - arcing the odd overhand right to Lee's head (blocked) or issuing bitter reprisal hooks against Lee Lee's heavy breasts.

R9,10: Virginia badly beaten about her upperbody, breathing hard: she spends these rounds ropeside, crossing her arms or putting dukes at temples to block Lee Lee's thunder. Nice n' easy from Sobieski - she's just squaring up, setting her feet, shelling her foe. Lee Lee generally extending on straight punches, only leaning in close when Virginia's stooping forward behind her mitts, giving up her gut to Lee Lee's pumping lefts and rights. Sobieski working hard, breasts a-bobbling; lips pursed as she exhales - just a young blonde getting an older one done for a duke. Comes back methodical UD10, Lee Lee Sobieski.

After: Madsen flushed, scuffed - she came in a little gutty and she knows it; she's gracious enough to shake Lee Lee's hand in postfight. "Tough slogging early on," Sobieski shakes her head ruefully, recalling hard body-knockdowns at Virginia's fists. "Madsen's got heavy blonde hands, you know? Punches you in the body and takes your breath away. She overheated in the second half and I was able to break her down, and I got a lot of great work done. Cat Bell's definitely next - gonna get her done the same way and keep the Lee Lee train a-chuggin'!"
