Before: Dani giving it all up in this fight - the height, reach, power, speed, but Fishel wouldn't have it any other way. "Jessica's the type of fighter other girls won't go near," Dani beams. "She's big-name danger with no-name reward, but I respect her skills and I want a piece!" Biel amazed at the challenge: "Dani's been chirping at me for months now to get it on," says a bemused Jessica, "I've never had anyone beg me for a beating before. Been a while since I made 120, but it won't be a problem. During R1: Dani bobbing, weaving, crossing her arms, looking for the hook out of the crouch. Biel leaning forward, putting mustard on the jab, trying to sting Dani and hypnotize her for the right cross. Pretty even stuff - Jessica can't stand her ground when Dani gets inside - Fishel frustrated whenever Biel can keep her distance.
R2: Dani having some good moments, working Biel against all four ropes. Jessica hunkering down, pointing either shoulder at Fishel, rolling punches well, but Dani's doing the work, moving her hands, making the fight. Good methodical banging of Biel's ribs and arms, Dani wearing the lankier girl out, ignoring the head for the nonce.
R3: Biel stepping lively, changing directions, using angles on Dani in an attempt to keep this thing midring. Jab tracking Fishel's face - nice spanking connects have Fishel swelling up - Dani on the outside, staying low, but getting scuffed up. Jessica's footwork starting to be a factor - Fishel just can't get comfortable in there.
R4: Good first minute Dani - she's swinging lusty to either flank, but Biel's legs start to dictate by the second minute. Biel stepping out on Dani, flicking jabs, swatting hooks, pivoting around Fishel's right shoulder. Final minute, Jessica has Dani walking into the right cross - Biel getting good extension finally stacks Fishel up, sends her stumbling back all wobbly butt. Fishel hollow-eyed - Biel growing with confidence - That's some hard shots Dani's soaked up on her chin to finish this round.
R5: Dani still not right - Jessica gets on her cold fury. Biel pumping stick, bashing back Dani's head, breaking down her form. Fishel arms crossed, getting stacked up - she's trudging forward into hurt, but stopping at the end of Biel's punches. Jessica settling into a pitchers groove - roaming right, jab-jab, BIG RIGHT HAND - Dani crouching but still taking flush on her jaw - kids starting to swoon. Jessica smiling, loving it to Dani's face - Biel in control with the stick, peppering and positioning, feinting a step-in, stepping right inside to change her look. End of the second minute - Biel with the left hand at her side, right hand at her chest - she strides right, looking Dani over, then suddenly drops that keen hesitation right. Bingo on the chin - Dani erect, hands out as she stumbles back, then plops down to her butt! Delayed reaction - Dani wilting to her back, rolling to her side and IT'S OVER! KO5 Jessica Biel in spectacular fashion.
After: Dani hurting on her back, hands at her eyes, knees bent - she's awake but those shattering right hands just too much. Biel laughing loudly, bubbly as her gloves are removed - she just cracked one of the hardest chins in boxing and she's partying it up early. "I hit too hard for bantams," Jessica gushes in postfight, "I don't care who they are. She came right at me - I couldn't believe it. Like shooting short fat girls in a barrel!" Ouch. |
