FOXFIRE VS HMK STABLE WAR #6

Posted by simguy on 11/27/2008, 10:32 am

Before: Even though it's not her fight, Helfer's not amused at the use of Krista Allen by Foxfire for this series. "It's pretty cheesy," Tricia says at the podium. "I mean, if that's what they aspire to, these kids have got problems. I know Mandy's not the type to fall under Krista's spell...but then again, I don't see Moore speaking out about it either. I'm trying not to hold it against her, but you know: people are going to see Foxfire doing deals with the devil, and they're going to lose respect for the organization - that's just the FCBA for you." Moore perplexed - only casually aware of Tricia/Krista history. "What-ever," Moore shrugs at the podium. "Tricia Helfer's got way bigger problems than who we're having lunch with. She's stepping up in weight to take on a former welterweight champion. I know they've got Susan Ward and some other big girls in camp, but nobody real good or special for Trish to work with. I think they look at me and all they see is beef. I've got class too - just ask Nadia Bjorlin. I think Tricia's going to be one surprised model when I navigate a path through to her chin. We'll see how she handles it - or IF she handles it!" Mandy in dark purple bikini; black gloves; hair in a scruffy battle bun. Tricia in black lace push up and panties; black gloves; platinum BSG locks.

During R1: Mandy encroaching, crouching down behind her gloves. Tricia getting off jabs, locating Mandy's guard, spacing her out. Helfer leaning in, swiping away pitty-pat flurries to keep Mandy covered up, then hooking her stout amidships while pivoting left. Easy, breezy stuff from Trish - in and out - lanky and loose. Mandy inching forward, getting touched in her waist, picked up uppercuts: every time she wants to load up - Tricia flurries-and-escapes. Moore leaning into the odd big right hand - easily slipped and avoided: Helfer sidestepping to her left, placing her left hand in behind Mandy's right elbow to spin her midring. Good leverage on hooks to the body - Trish on front (left) leg, digging the punch in - leather sweat-tacky against Moore's beef as Helfer lithely pivots. Mostly left hand techniques from Tricia, swiping, digging and chipping: right hands from Helfer come off her move-right when she swoops forward and lashes 'em over the top to Mandy's ear. Shutout Helfer - she sends Moore to her corner essentially unhurt, but well touched up.

R2: Mandy forward behind her guard - this time she's jabbing-with, refusing to forfeit that punch. Helfer nibbling at Moore's chin via poke, but taking a healthy thump against upperchest: Moore's jab lands like a lightweight's right hand. Helfer still chewing on Mandy's waist with those sticky hooks - pivoting left around 'em: Mandy pivoting-with, swinging a wide hook receipt to brush Helfer back. Middle minute - Tricia looking to plant, lean in, lift jagged right uppercuts to Moore's sternum. Mandy determined to take these shots, then drop short right hands onto Tricia's chin. Down the stretch, Helfer circling left, eyes narrowed - she moves in off a jab, pops hips, lifts a succulent right up into Moore's midsection. Mandy grunts, holds position, twists torso-left and CRACKS Trish a full-bodied right hand to chin. Helfer stiffened - jerked a quarter turn to her right - then pitching to her back with her legs frozen solid. Goodnight sweet princess - that's KO2 Mandy freakin' Moore!

After: HUGE upset answers Johannson's shocking whack of Rachel Mac - Helfer rigid on her back, face frozen in KO'd alarm, legs out straight, right hand along her side, left hand up with the elbow planted on canvas. Moore electrified - hollering incoherently down at Tricia: grim faced HMK girls rushing the ring as tempers flare. Takes officials a while to separate this one as both benches clear: HMK taking the sudden dismissal of their sorceress very hard indeed. "I knew she couldn't take my punch," Moore bleats in the brief postfight. "There's no way you step up from lightweight and handle my beef first time out. No way!"

After Mandy/Tricia

As the post-fight chaos was brought under control, the Foxfire girls all crowded around Mandy Moore to congratulate her on the KO win that had now re-tied the War at 3-3.

"I didn't think it would be quite that short a fight," Mandy admitted, "but when you see your chance you take it."

"Speaking of chances," Sarah Carter piped up. "Now ours are resting on you-know-who."

Mary Elizabeth Winstead had been fairly quiet most of the evening. She had been there and even helped to get rid of the pesky Krista Allen, but now she was standing there with a look of shock on her face.

"It-it really does come down to ME, doesn't it?" She almost squeaked.

"You'll be fine," Virginia Madsen said quietly. "Just execute your fight plan and it will be fine."

"Yeah," Sarah Carter said tartly, "especially if we win the Stable War and you get the Lightweight Title."

Mary looked grim. Hayden gave Sarah an exasperated look: "Never mind her. You just concentrate on beating Durance."

The rest of the Foxfire girls all chimed in to reassure their tense lightweight. Mary herself was looking across the ring where Erica was standing amind her HMK sisters with a calm, confident look on her face. Mary was sure she must be telling her worried stables mates:

"It will be okay. I'll bring it home for us."

Mary then swallowed and turned to her Foxfire sisters and gave them her best confident smile and voice as she said: Don't worry. It'll be okay. I'll bring it home."
