Nobody's come right out and called this an easy fight for Theron, but the blonde's unmistakable swagger in pre-fight, along with confident predictions from Jones are telling. Still, the specter of Gina Gershon remains - Demi IS a wily veteran brunette, with legs enough to KO a Shannon Elizabeth, and a punishing body attack that could tilt the scales if she can employ it.

"Moore is very motivated to win this thing," says one confidential HBO source, "She beats Charlize and suddenly Demi's claim to be one of the great lightweights is unassailable. Theron wins - critics will shrug it off, saying Demi was way past her prime and that Charlize should have won all along."

Round 1: Demi has success early on to Theron's body, but the blonde gets her distance and starts to pick Demi over with long pestering jabs and very accurate right hands - the stick making Demi bob defensively, keeping her occupied and setting her up for shocking touches on her face. Charlize really dialed in, reaching and distracting with the left, drilling the right and playfully legging out of range as Moore starts to bust up. Demi fielding gorgeous shots throughout the middle minute and she's HURT, staggering forward as Charlize glides left or right, steering Demi effortlessly, scoring with her hardest right hands at will. At the bell, Moore has been shaken repeatedly, cut over the left eye and badly discouraged. Charlize grins, raises her mitts in first round celebration as she watches Demi straggle to her corner for some work.

R2: Moore dips to the left inside Theron's jab, COMES UP INTO CHARLIZE' BRA with a biting hook, then another, then over the top with a hook on the chops and CHARLIZE GOES DOWN! Theron standing too tall, gets touched, touched and dropped in spectacular fashion, scooting straight back to her rump with a dazed expression. Charlize up at 8, long legs rippling - Moore knows what to do. Nice scrubdown all along the ropes as Demi comes in hard, head underneath Theron's chin, palms pushing back on Charlize's biceps, exposing the creamy length of Charlize' torso to brutal abuse. Demi taking what she wants - CRUNCHING THAT MILLION DOLLAR BODY as Theron cowers in pain, busting up that exquisite face with short lefts and rights as she lolls helplessly against the ropes. Demi gets all the points back and slams a VICIOUS AFTER-THE-BELL FOREARM TO CHARLIZE THROBBING BOSOM drawing a wail of protest from the battered blonde.

Round 3: Theron still woozy - Demi won't let up. Moore back on top, head rough under Theron's chin, hands marauding downstairs, weakening Charlize' body, then scoring hard to the jaw as the blonde breaks down. Demi just keeping Charlize' back against the ropes, keeping her weight on the blonde and working her to death in a non-stop brawling, grappling, hardhearted assault. Moore very crafty with her elbows - punches are very shout, easily disguising HURTFUL FOREARMS TO THROBBING BREASTS OR CRUSHED LIPS. Charlize in swoon - arms draped listlessly over Demi when she's not being bullied back by the busy brunette. During the break, Jones slaps Charlize, slaps her again - Charlize is back, focused, when Janet slaps her AGAIN and the cut man almost has to intervene.

Round 4: Demi back on top - keeping her head in the center of Charlize chest, crowding the long-armed blonde and plowing right hands to the belly, wrapping up in between strokes to keep the weight on. Theron finally clinching up around Demi's head and right arm, gets a referee's break, legs back out to the middle of the ring to regroup. Moore a little careless in pursuit and Charlize rings her up with a dazzling right uppercut on the chin, stepping to the right as Moore stumbles forward and clouting the brunette on the ear as she passes. Demi recovers late to re-assert her body attack, but judges like the damage done by the blonde as Theron steals a round.

Round 5: Charlize changes the complexion of the match with her legs, doubling up the jab, circling and steering Demi as she had done earlier. Moore with the right hand at her cheek, left at her chest, bobs and dips outside but can't negotiate the distance - Theron able to post a breezy shutout and coax some life back into those legs for the home stretch.

R6: Theron pestering Demi with an extended left, palming the brunette's forehead, cuffing her cheek - Demi swatting at the glove takes her eye off the ball as she steps forward. Charlize steps back, then rocks forward with all her weight behind a juicy right hand lightning bolt down and in as Moore gets screened by the blonde's left and doesn't see it. Violent little head jolt as Moore freezes, then pitches forward 100% out, arms crossed at her belly as she lands hard on chest, right shoulder and face. Charlize Theron beaming in triumph, snatches back the crown with a shocking KO6.

After: Theron not known for one-punch electricity, but she just drills Demi perfectly, catching the brunette leaning in and ending her night in spectacular fashion. Janet with her arm around Charlize in the ring, both blondes beaming ear to ear - Jones fields questions about her new, heavy handed corner technique,

"Charlize tends to fall asleep in there, lets rounds slip away when a girl's getting busy on her - I'm determined never to let that happen to her again and I'll do whatever's necessary. I don't think you can argue the results - she devastated Demi tonight."

Charlize agrees, delighted with the amazing whack, "I definitely had a little extra zip on my punches tonight - maybe it WAS the anger."
