Give Gena Lee credit—Larue’s long been one of the most dangerous non-ranked fighters in the business, having been voted by Soap Opera Digest as the “Most Dominant Female in Daytime” for a record 5th time (second year consecutive). Originally contracted for 3 la Conquista bouts to showcase the Atlantis resorts world-class beach court—the women threw in the boxing match out of mutual spite. In a bitter, brief affair, Eva Larue would once again prove why she’s no one to mess with.

The La Conquista bouts foreshadowed the fisticuffs with eerie accuracy. The first match was hotly contested, with both big women suffering mightily on the sand, grinding away hour after hour until Eva began to get Nolin moving backward, finally depositing the exhausted blonde in the end zone after a classic grudging battle. But having broken once, Gena grew petulant and sullen, and the following two bouts would be quick one-sided Eva Larue rollovers. A seemingly disinterested Nolin refused to compete—staking all on a surprise boxing challenge which Larue proved only too eager to accept.

As she had on the La Conquista court—Gena started strong—swinging hard and low with the right hand, tackling Larue around the waist and driving her into the sandy turf. With Eva stunned—Nolin took the opportunity to happily grind her knee into the brunette’s tanned inner thigh and Gena was off to the races. The rest of the first was typical Nolin—tawdry clinches with cheap elbows body and jaw; roughhouse forearms on the inside’ screened low blows with Gena bodying up to cover up the evidence. But the net effect was to bring out the best in Larue—her eyes hardened up and she stiffened her resolve during the break. What followed would be nearly 3 minutes of hell for Gena Lee Nolin.

GLN found herself stacked up and getting thumped against the ropes as Larue muscles her way in and dug up that fabulous blonde body with both mitts. Nolin whined—Nolin clinched—Nolin bawled to the ref—but time and again, Larue would wade back in after a break and continue smashing away to the belly and ribs. Gena’s firm midsection shook like stiff pudding as she soaked up punishment, often riding one arm or the other over Larue’s shoulder in a tepid attempt to smother. Larue would have none of it—pressing the attack with big brunette gusto, irresistible in her fury. Down the stretch, a scorching right hand licked in hard across the ribs just blow the jug-line and underneath Gena’s outstretched left. Nolin cried out and pitched to all fours, sobbing gutshot as Larue stepped back smouldering.

As she had during La Conquista, Gena lee Nolin refused to compete once her best had failed to yield a result. GLN would sit back on her launches, hugging herself and blubbering as Eva bellowed at her to “Get up!” It was a classic portrait—the hard working, long suffering daytime star triumphant—the obnoxious, pampered blonde quitting under pressure, and almost certainly to be rewarded with a PPV title bout within the calendar year.
