BEFORE: "I hate that Lacey's swaggering and bragging about how good she's getting," Kris laments in prefight. "And I hate that she's getting a championship fight. Sucks to be Ledoyen, because she's going to have to pay for all of that, 'cause I'm taking my frustrations out on her. I'm turning it up 3 full notches: Virginie's going to get her ass beat all over that ring, and that's all there is to it."

Ledoyen coming off a gritty win over rugged Chris Ricci: steady diet of tough American blondes has French lass grinning these days. "I'm fighting hard and winning," Virginie smiles, "that's making me happy. Bell is Ultimate's version of Natalie Portman, so it will be an interesting challenge. She's cute, strong legged, quick-mitted: she'll be dangerous until I hurt her."

Kristen in green bikini; small yellow gloves; world's feistiest ponytail with messy bangs. Virginie in lavender bikini; soft brunette curls loose about her shoulders; small black gloves. Furious little scowl on Kristen's face during ring instructions: Virginie amused, baiting Kris with a cool French smirk.

During R1,2,3 - Little to choose between classy vixens in these brisk, tactical feeling-out rounds. Kristen sporty about the ring - crisp stepping and pivots, sudden direction changes; cute moves off the ropes as she bounces and spins round her foe. Virginie stalking, staying compact, looking to fix Kristen's position via the jab. Bell also working behind the jab - stiff-arming it up off her hip, stepping prettily around it. Nobody hurt - Virginie the aggressor throughout may well have taken all 3 heats by default.

R4: Wheels fall of the Ledoyen applecart: Krissy's getting off. First minute, Bell erupts with swift combinations, landing both hands against Virginie's chin, staggering her on the spot. Stepping right, Bell turns Ledoyen's left flank, jumps back in to continue the peppering: more combinations land up top, punching Virginie off stance. Middle minute, Ledoyen trying to get those points back presses up the middle: Kris keeps her off with a stiff jab-to-body, then, without bringing the mitt back, she stiff-arms jab-to-face, repelling eager French woman. Down the stretch, Bell back on offence, frowning prettily as she pounces in, claws away in ripping combinations: Ledoyen tattooed, beaten to ropes. Virginie covering up panicky at her temples: Bell squared away, force-feeding Ledoyen right hands between the mitts, then hooking chin. Gatling-gun punching rattles Ledoyen: she's gritting her teeth, just riding it out as Bell tidies up to break.

R5: Bell stiff-jabbing Virginie to body, then to head - the left arm straight, simply lifting into Ledoyen's face off the body strike: Bell's left shoulder the hinge. Krissy hooking off her pokes - smiting Virginie palm-down across the chin: Ledoyen dismayed, reeling and stumbling in early going. Bell hopping in, chopping it up, hopping out: springy little blonde all ponytails and and bounce, really tearing it up. Ledoyen frowning, slapping and pushing back awkward blows: she's having trouble with Kristen's overall speed.

R6: Sudden tattooing burst drives Ledoyen ropeside: she covers up, grimacing as Bell's fists dish licks. Ledoyen desperately slapping back: Kristen leans onto right (back) foot, makes Virginie miss, then blonde's back at her brunette with both hands blazing. Virginie rocked as punches bounce off her cheekbones - she swats receipts, missing as Kris sways out of range, then leans back in to continue her torment. Midway through, Bell catches Virginie a stiff right hand as Ledoyen's pushing her own right out: head-swivel Virginie and down she goes, punched to her buns. Ledoyen up quickly, pretty eyes blinking as ref's giving her 8: Bell pouncing back in as soon as she's allowed. Pinging rights and lefts up top force Virginie to cover up earmuff: Bell switches to midsection, tucking in greedy. Tuff, tuff body blasts: Bell slugging hard off that front (left) plant leg - placing the left flush against Virginie's paunch; the right bouncing taut off Virginie's left flank. Virginie paralyzed, cringing from vicious body blasts: slowly, she eases herself down to her right knee - eyelashes blinking back tears as Bell skips happily away.

R7: Bell hopping in and out, making Virginie miss, then catching her right hands on the counter: Ledoyen struck hard upon her face, covers up, stumbles away as Kristen gets off rapid. Ledoyen hits ropes - fists tight at her temples, teeth bared in grimace: Bell just blazing away. Krissy punching straight rights and lefts into Ledoyen's guard - some of the work getting through: Ledoyen grimacing, trying to hold her defences together. Virginie swiping back, but Bell with that slick lean-away move staying safe: blonde makes brunette miss, then pounces back in, tearing away in combination. Virginie pummeled: hard right hand finally punches her head back off her gloves, jerking her sideways to ropes: with right shoulder against ropes, Ledoyen doesn't see the hook curling in on her left eye. Virginie crying out, covering up: she turns her back, draping herself forward over top rope, face-in-gloves. Kristen sets on left leg, hooking Virginie over and over to the body from behind - blonde digging at the ribs just above the hip with her hardest, reefing blows. Virginie helpless, just standing there taking it: ref has to choice - finally moving in to rescue stricken French girl. Bell hands high, struttin' happy: she's the TKO7 victrix.

AFTER: Ledoyen's left eye swelling rapidly; she's furious with the ref, complaining of a thumb that wasn't called. Bell breezy in victory - her finest in some time. "That's me getting back on track big time," Kris chirps. "She just couldn't answer my speed and pounce. I'm the best combination puncher in boxing - better than Natalie - and I proved that tonight: poor Virginie just couldn't stop me from tattooing her!" Punching Penelope Cruz excited and clapping at ringside: Bell's win sets up an important Cruz/Ledoyen struggle with both beauties looking to erase painful losses to hard-punching Americans.
