Before: “I love this fight,” gushes Dani Fishel ringside, “neither girl knows how to hide—they’re just going to go right at each other until something gives. Most people think Jen’s too experienced at this point and I think she probably will win most of the close rounds to pull it out, but LOOK at Beyonce’s legs! That girl is strong downstairs and it’ll be interesting to see how Lopez copes with that. One thing to look for: Knowles has been discouraged by determined body attacks in the past and she;s in there with the best body banger in the business—its tome for Beyonce to show she’s got some heart.”

During R1: Beyonce bodying up, almost casually walking Lopez to the ropes in a gaudy show of strength early. HARD body punching at the ropes from both women—each reaching under the other’s arms to open up the room, shouldering and pushing one another back before punching. Late in the round, Lopez brawls her way off the ropes with tight lefts and rights on the face, finally backing Knowles up to take the round.

R2: Jen with jump, utilizing a stubby jab up the middle, chopping right hand on the cheek, finishing up with a rising left to the chub downstairs to put Beyonce ropeside. Shove and slug from Lopez this round as she whomps bell to bell on Beyonce. Jennifer hammering away very low on the waist,  polishing Knowles’ golden hips and lower belly, drawing occasional warnings from the ref as Knowles can’t get her back off the ropes.

R3: Beyonce bodies up, muscles Jennifer to the ropes and starts to issue payback. Jamming little right hands find Lopez’ jaw from the side and a digging left hook spanks into the lower belly bulge as Jennifer starts to show hurt. Lopez sitting on ropes, not getting much leverage on her punches starts to get worked over as Beyonce gets off, splattering big lefts and rights to the shoulders and crown of the head of her foe at the bell.

R4: Beyonce bodies up, walks Jennifer to the ropes—Lopez indeed having trouble with Knowles leg strength. Beyonce issues the shutout, keeping her body on Jen, shouldering her into the ropes lavishing the Mighty Mex with plunging blows beneath the navel and around the hips and beating Jen’s face shiny with choppy right hands in close, Knowles standing up strong at the bell, hands at her side as Lopez drowsily forward, face pressing against Beyonce’s sweaty upper chest in a moment of exhaustion.

R5,6: Test of wills as Jen shuts Beyonce out in the fifth, Knowles shuts Lopez out in the sixth. Girls taking turns bullying one another into the ropes, then heaping on ungodly amounts of punishment. Lopez cuter inside, using her forehead creatively against Knowles’ face, tighter with her hook as she works inside and around Beyonce’s protective elbows. Knowles more ferocious, swinging wider, hammering Jen’s arms and biceps, beating away on Jen’s back and lumping up the left side of Lopez’ face with short right hands. Both girls obsessed with the golden lower belly of the opponent—referee constantly shouting “keep’em up!” to both women as they pound away downstairs.

R7: Beyonce bodies up, walks Jennifer to the ropes and proceeds to beat Lopez down in the fights first turning point. Lopez open mouthed as she starts to take unacceptable damage—elbows in tight as she turns side to side, trying to blunt the punishment, but Knowles is STORMING. Beyonce getting big, crossing her arms at the stomach, just chesting Lopez back, then plundering away downstairs, legs keeping Lopez pinned against the ropes as the arms chug away. Lopez trembling at the bell—Beyonce forcing eye contact pulls ahead on the cards.

R8: It starts as the girls trade shoulder to shoulder midring—a biting Lopez hook slides in between Beyonce’s elbows to spank solar plexus and put a tremor through those glossy flanks—Knowles shouts in pain as Jen takes over, What follows is the most devastating body punching exhibition in FCBA history. Knowles badly hurt, sagging to the ropes, covering up her stomach and sobbing in protest as Jen bashes in Beyonce’s sides, then jerks up the middle with plexus-seeking lefts or rights, shouldering the ruined blonde back into the ropes to get at the sweetmeat beneath. Propped up, then stooping forward as abuse piles up, Knowles is beaten stupid by the relentless pounding. Final minute—Beyonce hanging off Lopez’ neck, sick with punishment as Lopez slams away between the hips—Knowles finally  puddles to her haunches, quivering as Lopez struts away. Bell sounds to save Beyonce, but she is horribly gutshot on her stool—panicked corner has no idea what to do.

R9: Knowles out for the 9^th, but weaving on trembling thighs—she’s got nothing left—eyes pleading with Jen to go easy. Lopez reaches under Beyonce’s arms, walks her to the ropes and gets back after that belly—chopping away with lefts and rights, then bending her back to fit uppercuts in between Beyonce’s drooping mitts. Another bell to bell beating sees Beyonce absorb senseless abuse—even Fishel at ringside shaking her head and wincing as Lopez takes and takes and takes from Beyonce. Once again, Knowles gets out of the round, wanders in a daze to her corner where her teary-eyed trainer hugs her, waves off the fight. No protest from Beyonce as she breaks down in the man’s embrace.

After: Boos and cheers compete as puffy faced and drained Lopez takes Beyonce for a walk of shame—Jennifer smiling as she guides Knowles around the ring with an arm across Knowles’ lower back—Beyonce’s cheeks streaked with tears as she minces in pain from corner to corner. Fishel” “I don’t like this, but I understand it from Jen. She was losing, getting bullied, but she pulled it out and now she’s thinking ahead to the next fight. This walk is all about scarring Beyonce for the rematch and it’s sickening. That was a great, great fight, especially from Lopez—this stuff just cheapens her.

(Simguy note: We’ve never seen anything like Lopez’ body attack in the 8^th. Statistically speaking, I couldn’t have done it justice).
