Before: Merger Mania moves from Wall Street to Hurt Street as Diaz looks to McCarthy in a bid to unify. Jenny eager to test Cam’s paperweight chin, but Diaz a slick customer, promises to give Jenny the beating of a lifetime. Jenny Mac in black push up and panties, Ca, in baby blue push up and panties.

During 1-3: Jenny Mac looks slow, hittable in these rounds as Diaz on her toes, bounces clockwise, flicking out the quick left jab, chopping with right hands, and swatting with open palm left hooks to bust Mac up early, Jenny hurt in the second as she blunders into a buzzsaw flurry of downward chopping rights and upward cupping lefts, but Diaz mostly content to dance, peck away as Jenny chases.

R4: Mac with some answers this round, punching with Diaz to mess up the tall blonde’s timing, and scoring booming right hands wide to the ribcage. Cam doesn’t like the body work, lays on the ropes, leaning way back as she soaks it up to her hips and ribs.

R5: Vintage Diaz as she bounces backwards, timing Jenny beautifully, and rips a speedbag left right left onto the blonde’s face to drop Mac to her knees! Jenny up quickly, but she’s stunned, and Cam continues to fight going backwards, chopping up McCarthy’s face and jamming her late in the round with a series of running short right hands in between the eyes. Jenny woozy at the bell, and lumping up badly as Diaz keeps chipping away.

R6: Shutout Diaz, and the dancing, boxing, jabbing is wearing Jenny down mentally. McCarthy is tired in the final minute hands at her hips, and getting spanked by those crisp straight right hands on the forehead. With McCarthy reeling at the bell, Diaz flashes her a big smile and taunts her as the ref separates the fighters.

R7: Jenny doesn’t like the smack and gets after Cameron’s midsection with Norton-esque hooks. Diaz slowing, going flat footed, and a vicious counter left hook off the jaw spins Cameron and nearly deposits her as Mac comes forward. Jenny brawling Diaz to the ropes, but down the stretch, Cam puts on a counterpunching clinic, rolling with the punches, leaning back into the ropes and chopping at her foe in between Jenny’s salvoes. Big round for Mac nonetheless.

R8: Cam pushes Jenny’s head down and Mac spanks her to the crotch with a left, ruled accidental but ref warns both parties, Jenny now clinching aggressively, trips Cameron to the mat where both bodies fall in a heap, and the fight bogs down as Mac uses arm locks, elbows and repeated fouls in an attempt to get Cam off her game. It works.

R9: More mugging, holding, elbowing—Jenny Mac trying to claw her way back into the bout, and Cam s on her heels, getting savaged by the reckless McCarthy. Don the stretch, Diaz gets into the act, utilizing her bony elbow hard across the eyebrow to draw a warning as Jenny blubbers in protest.

R10: Jenny lumped up badly, comes out to roughhouse, but Diaz gets her legs back in the act, circling and backhanding the jab, luring Jen forward. Midway through the round, that jolting right between the eyes has McCarthy wobbly-butt, and Diaz slugs Jenny across the ring with a withering away of slashing hooks and chopping rights. McCarthy withstands it, but she’s lost her will to win, covering up, bobbing up and down as Cam, weight over her left foot, puts together slicing combinations to the bell. Jenny shakes her weary head at the break as Cam nods, forcing Mac to make eye contact before the announcement. UD Cam Diaz as she snatches the belt from Jenny’s proud waist.

((Editor’s note: I believe that in fact the Maxim Lightweight title was vacant at this time, though there indications in the story that Simguy believed Jenny McCarthy held the title. I have left that text unchanged)).
