Before: Dani Fishel bright eyed as she speaks directly to the camera, "This is a huge fight for Cat. Yes it's a title bout, but that's almost secondary for Bell as she's had to listen to months of Shannon Elizabeth's mouth on the subject of the KO win that put her on top. Frankly, I've never seen Cat train as hard as she has for this fight - even for Charlize whom I think Cat pretty much has figured out at this point. Shannon's a big one-punch hitter who takes chances - I think Cat will want to fight on the inside, make Elizabeth work instead of gambling on big plays - Bell wants to win minutes, chew up clock and contain Shannon. I hate to say it, but I know Catherine would be happy if this turns out to be a boring fight." Bell in electric blue bikini, Elizabeth in fuzzy leopard print push up and panties.
During R1: Shannon swaying side to side, pulling wide punches into Cat early, backs the brunette up under a withering opening assault. Bell slide stepping back in good order, patiently timing her girl like she's jumping into a game of skip-rope and by the midway point, Cat's ear to ear, cheek to cheek with Shannon inside. Girls hunker down, each trying to wedge her left shoulder under the opponent's chin to get in underneath - Bell gets the better of the bump and grind inside. Hard left hooks to the sternum, right hands spanking around to get at Shannon's kidney's - action round goes to Cat.
R2: Easier for Cat this round - she bounces Shannon's head with some stabbing jabs, then steps inside, wrestling with Elizabeth's long arms, again getting her shoulder up under Shannon's chin to work the body. Girls strain against each other, struggling for position, but Bell has the better of it, bashing away at Elizabeth's ribs with both mitts. Shannon avoids the shutout late with some harsh treatment of Cat's jugs, rolling her shoulders to clout cups with rising lefts and rights. Ferocious punching has Cat backing off, giving Shannon some breathing space.
R3: Elizabeth turns the tide, punching furiously to the breasts any time Cat crowds her - as Bell backs out, Shannon dives in on chin with right hands and has the brunette in retreat early. Fight spills to the ropes - Bell under siege, covering up, rolling with punches - Shannon lashing away with side to side slinging punches - gloves bouncing crisply off Bell's sides and arms. Final minute, Shannon grinning, spanking at Cat's waist with both hands, palming up on Cat's hips as she alternates fists, keeps her weight forward. Sudden left uppercuts break through the guard and send a tremble through Bell's long legs - she pitches forward to clinch, hurt bad at the bell. Contemptuous shove sends Bell reeling into the ropes as a haughty champion tosses her hair, struts to her corner.
R4: Bell reaching for Shannon's body, wants to keep it close, but Elizabeth won't have it. Chugging lefts and rights up into the breasts back Cat off - lunging right crosses swivel Cat's head and once again Bell is backing straight out, getting tagged and stampeded to the ropes. Shannon marauding now, walking Cat down, laying into her with that long body swaying side to side, punches lashing into Cat with whipsmacking force. Bell seated ropeside, hurting, stooped forward - she's starting to soak up a tremendous beating. Lanky spanks to the waist break Bell's guard down, opening a path for sharp uppercuts to the mouth. Bell in stupor, not punching back, crowd screaming as she starts to topple and SHANNON POURS IT ON! Bell out on her feet as fresh leather stamps into her ribs, flattens her jugs, pounds the mouthpiece off her teeth and DOWN GOES CAT! Bell spilling to her face, sprawls at Shannon's feet as the champion sneers down, steps across the challenger en route to the neutral corner. Cat counted out on her stomach - ignominious KO4 Shannon E!
After: Dazed and stunned Cat Bell unable to resist as a triumphant Shannon Elizabeth gathers her up and parades her for a devastating walk of shame. Dani speechless, near tears at the sight - Bell's chin lolling to her chest on occasion as she stumbles around - Shannon beaming, waving - oh the humanity! "Line 'em up!" Bellows Shannon in post fight, referring to her lightweight competition, "I just retired Cat Bell. As soon as I got warmed up, she just melted away, she couldn't take my punches. Everything was killing her, my body shots, my uppercuts - stopping her again is SO sweet." Elizabeth emerging as a true tyrant, simply brawling her way past a determined former champion, leading to speculation that Bell may have overtrained. Bell deeply discouraged by the beating, but Shannon's boast of retiring the brunette strongwoman may be grossly overstated - time will tell.
