Before: Big crossroads bout for both women as each comes in the loser of her last fight. Theron's one-sided loss to Lopez, and Harmon's decision loss to Debbe Dunning have both young stars in danger of being labeled 'journeywomen'. Both are the victims of their own hype - matched too early in their careers against big names - this fight will be a pick 'em bout right down the middle. Harmon the more athletic, more prone to slug when she shouldn't; Theron the more calculating of the two.

Rounds 1-4: Sloppy action as both girls are predictably nervous, not really executing any coherent game plan. The second is especially wild, with both swinging wide and missing badly, tackling one another to the canvas, hitting on the breaks etc. Each has her moments, however. Harmon establishes her fine left hook early; following Jennifer Lopez' plan and WORKING CHARLIZE'S BREASTS, opening her up for pounding blows to her eye and temple. Theron uses an awkward looking short right uppercut between the mitts to set up a looping left hook around them. Theron ahead after four with the fourth scored a draw.

Round 5: Theron starts strong, banging Harmon into a defensive shell with long hooks, then poking the right uppercut through the gloves of Harmon; following up with a lanky double left hook. Harmon comes apart slightly, staggering back, and her eyes show she's hurt. Theron shows good instinct, closing and lashing Angie with steady, wide lefts and rights. On the ropes, Harmon doesn't seem to know what to do and her lovely face is pasted back and forth by the blonde's workmanlike flurries. Angie clutches and grabs her way through the round, but her legs are shaky at the bell.

Round 6: Angie continues to brawl - and pay the price. Charlize takes control of an even round when simultaneous left hooks land for both women, momentarily startling both combatants, but it is Angie who takes a step back. Theron again makes hay with wide lefts and rights, clubbing Angie out of her guard and scoring heavily. Another blitz on the ropes has Angie in a bad way - Theron is really bouncing Harmon's head around and has landed several very hard shots in the last two rounds.

Round 7: Charlize continues to bully Harmon, but midway through this round, Angie rediscovers what worked for her early  and begins to circle, leaning in on Theron, then pulling back to SWIPE SACK with the left hook and CHOP CHEST with the right, putting her shoulder on Theron to smother the receipt. Harmon steps back and catches Theron perfectly with a combination; hard left hook to the right breast and an overhand right that rattles off her jaw. THERON IS HURT! Staggering forward, her PUPPIES ARE POUNDED by wide lefts and rights to that jiggling jogbra from the brunette as she steps back in good order leaving the blonde bent over protecting her heaving chest.

Round 8: Harmon’s left hook again bashes boob hard in the first minute and Theron loses her composure. Angie, boxing beautifully, lashes blonde body, then head-hunts with slinging punches when Theron tries to protect her boobs. Both beauties have absorbed terrific punishment in this bout.

Round 9: Charlize sucks it up and answers Angie's shutout with one of her own, pouring in awkward looking, slinging straight rights and wide left hooks to put the hurt on Harmon once again. Angie can't get off this round, continually beaten to the punch as Charlize strokes her jaw with heavy handed blows.

Round 10: Angie is busier, but another big power display late in the round gives Charlize a draw this round. Theron batters Harmon to the ropes, cracking a long, almost straight arm left hook to the body of Angie, then pounding away like a little Omar Sheika to the bell. Angie is seriously busted up by this assault and despite finishing the fight on her feet, is wide-eyed, stunned and reeling at the bell. Charlize puts her fists in the air and struts confidently as the corners flood the ring - it's a 5 rounds to 2, with 3 rounds even UD10 for Theron.

After: Angie Harmon is inconsolable with the loss, as Theron puts some daylight between them with this win. Both lanky girls displayed tremendous courage in this fight, refusing to go down despite taking huge shots from her opponent. Neither distinguished herself defensively, but Angie perhaps gives up a little in the power department, and should have tried boxing a little earlier in the bout. Theron calls out all the big brunette names on camera: Giselle, Carter, Scoggins, Dunning etc. One wonders if Harmon were able to do so much damage, what these other, more polished celebs could do.
