Theron going after history - blonde has the opportunity to be the first unified champ in three weight classes. Pundits recognize Brinkley's power but question whether she has the hand speed to put the second and third punch together the way Peta Wilson did to get Theron in trouble. As usual, firestorm of controversy surrounds the relative merits of the accomplishment.

"It's huge," breathes a KruZher spokesperson. "In this day and age, to dominate one division the way Charlize has would be enough to put her in the hall of fame. Flattening three classes, moving up nearly 20 pounds - and this isn't some junior flyweight moving up to big bantam, we're talking about true weight classes here - it's inconceivable."

Round 1: Theron charges the ring, BLISTERING JUG with both hands, just stampeding a stunned Brinkley up against the ropes in the opening seconds. CRISS-CROSS SACK WORK HAS CHRISTY GURGLING and Charlize stays on her, curling up with churning fists into the breadbasket, swinging wide to lather at the ribs then coming up the middle with clipping right and left uppercuts. Brinkley busted up over the right eye, finally clinches - legs trembling - Charlize won't be walked back. Stern bell to bell big woman beat down for Brinkley - Theron just stuffing and cramming her back into her corner, then pumping away until Christy's next desperate clinch. Goes as 10-8 Theron without the knockdown as Brinkley gets ransacked - Theron giddy as a schoolgirl back to her corner.

Round 2: Charlize out quickly again, dazzling rushes so intimidating to Brinkley that she's backing up on her heels without even being touched. Theron dispensing with the jab - easily fast enough to lead with hooks or slicing right hands to the face, able to step in and roll three punch bursts against Christie's solid midriff, then lean back, pivot to one side as Brinkley comes up empty on the counter. Theron working all points on the compass, legs light and springy as she darts in, gets off, then spins out to leave Brinkley gasping with another shutout beating.

Round 3: All Theron as she NAILS Brinkley a lashing look-away hook from the thigh - Brinkley stepping in fence post holes and looking hopelessly bewildered. Charlize finally starts to get methodical - comfortable enough with her range to get flat footed and ply Christy with the stiff stick, slashing right crosses on the face. Brinkley rotating, not getting off, unable to pick off Theron leather - she's getting scalped by a surgical challenger through 3. After the bell, Charlize goes chest to chest, forcing eye contact - Brinkley blinking, on her heels as the ref intervenes.

Round 4: Brinkley lands a shocking right hand in the pit of Charlize' stomach - Theron doubling up slightly, hands dropping - she just barely leans away from a sweeping Brinkley hook. Christie able to finally come forward, starts to stalk, but she reaches with a tepid left and Theron immediately counters. BLINDING right hand off the hip chops cheek on Christy - Brinkley's lead foot coming off the canvas and SHE'S hurt again. Theron stepping to the right, pounds a sidearm left into Brinkley's face from the side and hounds the big girl to the ropes from the obtuse angle. Charlize crowding in with her left elbow against Brinkley's waist, pushing the blonde into the ropes, then LATHERING away with right hands! Theron shoving and slugging like a blacksmith hammering on and BRINKLEY GOES OUT! Christy blubbering, taking punches, just quits on the ropes as the ref has no choice but to gather her up.

Theron hoisted high on the shoulders of her team - gets it done in a HAILSTORM of leather - Charlize usually more selective with her punching comes out swinging and never looks back. Brinkley cut, mauled and shocked, can only stare as her foe carries on, while in the audience - Janet Jones stands with hands in her hair, glaring in disbelief, Crawford shaking her head, McPherson pursing her lips. Speculation running rampant that Theron will trashcan the title and move back down, furthering her reputation as 'Charlize the Destroyer', sowing havoc and disorder in her meglomanaical wake. Controversy still dogs the new champion - 'BLONDE!' magazine trumpeting the win as an epic triumph because of the way in which Charlize was able to dismantle the bigger girl - other media citing the lack of resistance from Brinkley as being proof positive the whole thing's a sham. Who you gonna believe?
