During R1: Feeling out round for Gershon—she’s easing to her left, batting Daniel’s rangefinders out of the air, fencing in behind her jab to scrape the hook along blonde ribcage. Daniel coming forward, showing good defensive form early, dukes up, blocking and rolling and answering back in combination., Close round—Gina seems to be controlling the tempo, dictating terms midring.

R2: Daniel picks up the pace—she’s forcing her way in behind a stabbing jab, trading tough hooks to the stomach as Gershon meets the charge, but it’s blonde backing brunette up after a series of blistering skirmishes. Latter half of the heat—GG in retreat, trying to run the clock as Daniel walks her down and rips to the ribs. Round ends with Gina getting shaken up slightly on the ropes—Daniel able to lower he head and pump sack with both hands to leave the brunette breathless at the bell.

R3: Girls trade early hooks, Gershon giving way—Daniel following up with walking straight rights and cranking hooks to drive GG ropeside. Brittany squares up, let’s her hands go—Gina getting shredded in the body as punches bounce and skid off her tanned torso. Gershon clinching after every burst, bogging the blonde’s arms down, but Brittany’s feeling it, pressing Gina into the strands and weighing on her. Down the stretch, murderous jug mugging has GG in awe—hands outstretched to Daniel’s shoulders and Brittany leans in close to clip the ultra-short left uppercut. Head-pop gina, knees give away—brunette spills to all fours and GERSHON”S DONE! Gina defeated KO3 by Brittany Daniel!

After: Just what BD needed—very efficient win over a perennial tough nut—body setting up the head like a boxing textbook. Gershon stunned with the loss cites rust and paradoxically lack of time to prepare—claims she’ll fight her way back into shape. Daniel snapping a bit of a win-skid with this back-to-basics score—she’s got that gleam in her eye again.
