It’s exhausted and downtrodden Paula Abdul on the ropes in the fifth, ready to clinch or push at her foe, sagging and hanging on as a tireless Halliwell keeps up a steady bombardment, head and body. Ref jumps in as Paula’s heads starts to droop, hands start to drop—she’s out on her feet, helpless at the end.
