Before: McAdams with Cuthbert to her right at the dais: no question these two are working in tandem to wear down Krusher beef at 120. “Elisha has been invaluable in this campaign against the Krushers,” Rachel acknowledges in prefight. “While I was neutralizing jewel in the stable-war, Elisha was drawing the perfect blueprint for defeating Jaime—not to mention taking a terrible toll on Pressly’s reverses in that fight. I’ll mop Jaime up, and with her defeat—the Krushers and TE both will be effectively underfoot at bantam, Cuthbert and I can and will dominate the division n 120—maybe moreso than anyone previously expected!” Pressly pursing lips, casting sour looks throughout. “I’m no strategist,” wiry Krusher allows at the podium, “but I know abo9t kicking butts and taking championships. I has an off night against Elisha—there was no ‘blueprint’, unless Rachel’s big plan is to get lucky. The fact is, I’m too fast, too slick, and too damn good for Rachel’s big plan to handle me, baby!” Rachel in sport-cut bikini—maple leaf motif top, solid red bottoms, small red “Cat paw” brand gloves (looking even more like paws with the little white knuckle bars). Jaime in Stars-and-Stripes bikini from “D.O.A.” (DVD on sale now in Thailand—soon to be a smash hit Stateside), small “Cat paw” brand gloves (white with little red-cross emblems at the knuckles).
During R1-2: Intense tactical boxing—more than reconnaissance, a little less than all-out combat. Both women testing reflexes via stiff jabs, feints. Footwork battle is interesting: Jaime in-and-out, mounting darting slash-attacks, often eschewing the jab to lead right hands or hooks—she’s clearly quicker, more agile than McAdams, Rachel compensating with judgement, timing—she’ll cut off the ring; pre-empt Jaime with that educated stick; she’[ll fade Jaime, creating distances just as Pressly’s blitzing, then look to counter if JP comes up short. Jaime usually in close stance—left shoulder pointed atr Rache, right fist under the chin, left hand dangling tic-toc out front the hip—very loose, limber—punching equally well advancing or retreating. Rachel dukes up, elbows in—she’ll use more ducking and blocking—hoping to ride out Jaime’s attacks, then answer to blonde’s sleek ribcage. Taut back and forth—Rachel taking the first, Jaime the second in mirror-image, tough to score rounds.
R3: Jaime circling, harassing, being the flashy, speedy boxer: Rachel stalking, keeping her balance, poise and patience. Pressly darting in off feints—pinging lead right against Rachel’s guard; clawing double hook up top (partially blocked); biting little right uppy off right foot (gets in there). Midway through, Rachel getting the timing off it—she hunkers down, slips and rolls flashy blonde combinations, then nips the tidiest of hooks as Jaime’s easing away, hands low. Head toggle, Jaime P—Pressly momentarily stunned: McAdams immediately going ribcage with robust, batting rights and lefts. Pressly driven breathless to ropes—clinching up behind Rachel’s elbows for break: McAdams pushing Cuthbert-like weight in to Jaime in the third.
R4: Pressly’s tanned, toned legs shredding into wiry relief as she pivots, circles, darts—she’s attacking from all points on the compass, eyes garnet-hard as she gets off, gets out. Rachel under siege—blonde uptempoing—redhead hard pressed just to keep defence together and crouch into the storm. Pressly with pinpoint strikes—often with lead right hands or hooks—then clawing vicious combinations in close as Rachel covers up. Jaime pivoting and escaping out on angles—McAdams can’t pull the trigger on her fearsome counterhook. Rache giving up tuff body touches—often in bunches—Pressly tidying up, bounding out of range before McAdams can answer. Bell: breezy shutout Jaime P—perhaps the most one-sided round against Rachel since her title reign began—McAdams back to her corner a little frazzled, nose bloodied.
R5: Back to back shutouts, Jaime Pressly: speed advantage looking decisive as Jaime just seems to have stationary Rachel surrounded. Pressly slicing in off angles—attacking outside either McAdams shoulder—Rache has to cover up and crouch or get tagged that piercing lead right hand. Jaime’s hooks roaming up and down Rachel’s right flank, tucking in behind the elbow, carving at paunch or swatting at ear—very limber, nasty strokes taking their toll. Pressly’s right hand hard to read—she’ll lead it straight; clip uppercuts off the right foot; even pull it wide to Rachel’s ear while leaning in close. Pressly also utilizing a pesky tummy jab to vex and threaten Rachel from outside—Jaime just stooping and patting at firm midsection with a stiff left leg—pivoting away before any receipts. More than just window-dressing—Rachel badly hurt by a slanting lead right down into her body, setting up a vicious short-arm hook onna chops as Pressly loads up weight on her front (left) leg to get in tight. Krusher vixen beaming, winning the first half of this fight in impressive fashion.

R6: Rachel gritting her teeth, firming, acting a champion, McAdams still having troubole with the speed/mobility of her foe—Rachel willing to get hit now, in order to make SURE she buries a hook or heavy right hand into Jaime’s ribs on occasion. Pressly still initiating, still dictating terms, still winning the exchanges—but at least there ARE exchanges: McAdams focusing 100% on landing heavily to the tummy and torso of her foe. Jaime spending more time probing via that pesky tummy-jab—getting a little more selective about rushing the still-hard champion.
R7: Rachel finally snatches back the initiative: jabbing Jaime more effectively, braking up blonde rushes; engaging Jaime toe-to-toe more often, scoring effectively to body with either hand in close; catching Jaime when she backs out. Pressly taking a good shot—but she’s clearly disrupted, disorganized when she can’t frighten Rachel into compliance with that spooky-fast lead right—Pressly giving up some thudding body blows this rounds, wincing in resentment at them.
R8: Rachel bulling forward, jabbing to cover her approach, looking to body up, riding Jaime to ropes and suffocate her Cuthbert-style. Pressly bounding away from the attempts, clawing savage combinations to repel Rachel’s advances—fighting temperatures steadily rising as both girls are opening up, throwing more, throwing harder. Midway through, Jaime fades a McAdams jab, then leans in a GORGEOUS pull-counter right (eerily Theron-like): Rachel head-swiveled as she’s loading her own right—she fans on the punch, knees corkscrewing and RACHEL GOES DOWN! Yelp of pleasure from Pressly as she hops way: McAdams wide eyed on all fours, shaking her auburn curls in dismay—intelligent fighter knows she just coughed up a huge 10-8 late in a close fight.
R9: Rachel nicely busted up and puffy-faced from Pressly’s brisk punching: McAdams batting Cat paw mitts together as she rises determined from her stool. HOUNDING pressure, Rachel Mac—stiffest jab of her career catching Jaime face and chest, driving her ropeside, McAdams diving in, reaching under Jaime’s arms and pancaking her to ropes—good smothering stuff complete with tousle-scrubbing across Jaime’s distressed face. Body work by the truckload—Rachel keeping hands-free, digging up tummy with short, chugging lefts and rights—Pressly gasping, hanging off the back of her foe’s neck. As Jaime wilts—Rachel starts coming off the body big-girl: rich, carving uppercuts—McAdams slicing up between Jaime’s mitts to brush her back—blonde chin under intense scrutiny as Rachel bangs away body and head. Final minute—crowd squealing as Pressly’s visibly breaking down, unable to get off the ropes—blonde tilting forward, face-in-gloves, soaking up the beating of a lifetime ion her flanks as hardhearted Rachel smashes away for points.
R10: Jaime destitute, open-mouthed, but sucking it up: 3 more minutes to a title. HAMMER AND TONFS: bitter, thick, and biting—McAdams pressing Jaime hard at the ropes. Blonde won’t be smothered—she’s rip-digging, rising left hooks into Rachel’s pale tummy and sternum, pushing her left shoulder into Rachel’s chest to bump her opff. McAdams too sturdy-legged to be shaken—she hounds Jaime at the apron, bashing at fat-free arms golden-brown ribs, Rachel fighting out of an aggressive crouch—almost Dani Fishel like with the bobbing head movement, hard hooks, blunt straight rights, Pressly’s punches snappy, lithe, biting at Rachel’s flesh: McAdams’ punching more sledgehammer-like—thudding impacts shaking Jaime’s svelte chassis. Crowd roaring at the n on-stop trading: cheering turns shrill late when a Rachel Mac right uppervut puts Jaime limp against the ropes.
Jaime blinking—suddenly ruined—she stops punching—left hand in her lap, right at her chest as she slumps against cables.
Rache lugs a clobbering overhand right tight to Jaime’s face—leaning in close to get it tidy. Loose blonde head-swivel—Pressly staring, lips parted in swoon.
Hook/right hand toggles Jaime’s face back and forth—Rache steadying her blonde with the extended left elbow in the chest while keeping right tight to cheek. McAdams settling in methodically—propping with the elbow, snapping off short, clubbing hooks and right hands at the wilting beauty lolling ion the ropes, Horrible, systematic bludgeoning—tidy, compact blows taking Jaime in her body, on her face and PRESSLY GOES DOWN!
Jaime swooning forward past Rachel’s left side—McAdams steps aside, exhaling through pursed lips as Jaime hits face/chest first.
Second tick down Jaime slumbers, Jaime slumbers, Rachel lifts weary limbs and struts away the KO10 victrix in the final minute of this withering contest.
After: McAdams a mess—face badly beaten by Jaime tonight—but exhausted champion exultant nonetheless: come-from-behind victory to turn back a dominant former champ probably the guttiest effort of Rachel’s career. “Fighting Jaime Pressly is like fighting a hornet’s nest.,” McAdams gushes in postfight. “She’s no unpredictable, so quick and her punches hurt because you don’t always seem them. I had to knock her out—she had me dead to rights after putting me down in the 8th: I just simply had to step to her and stop her. Again, because of Elisha, we knew it was possible to get on Jaime and work her—this was a team effort all the way, If we can take Jaime Pressly and the Krushers down, we can take anybody down.”
