Before: "Connelly's a fraud," Brittany asserts in prefight. "Eva exposed her, but I've beaten Jen twice as bad in the past - people just forget because her PR machine sweeps all the inconvenient truths about her under the carpet. She held me back - she's constantly backbiting and conniving against other girls - I'm gonna SO love handing her the worst beating of her career for her 100th!"
Connelly non-plussed: she'd forgotten how spiteful and meanspirited Daniel can be. "I see somethings never change," Jen purrs in prefight. "I wanted Brittany for my 100th, because I've always felt there was unfinished business between us. We were never the rivals we could have been because she couldn't make enough happen outside of the ring for me to take her seriously - but strictly as a fighter, and as a body - there are attractions to beating her. Minor, and personal attractions perhaps - but it's my party, and I'll batter whomever I want to."
Jen in white crushed velvet bikini, matching white calf-high boxing boots, long black battle braid. Daniel in crimson bikini, white aerobics sneakers/socks.
During R1: Blistering give and take - both women attempting to take control of tempo, attacking each other with rare verve. Connelly making nice judgements - covering up and crouching at times, erupting to hook Daniel off the block, clean her up stout right hands - Jen's coming forward most of the time. Daniel snarling, fighting her little heart out - hot body punching, sizzling combinations from the blonde rattle Jen - but Brittany's defence consists solely of her offence. Bell: both girls shaken by the intensity of conflict early, but Connelly got the better of it.
R2: Brittany renews committment to the attack - little bit more leg from Jen in response - Connelly not so willing to mix it up. Daniel muscular to Connelly's ribcage and tummy - tic-tac-toe punching up underneath, driving brunette to the apron. Jen loping in either direction, close to, but not on, the ropes. Brittany scoot-stepping, cutting off the ring - she's more mobile then Jen, hounding her, then getting after her with vicious two-gun pelting. Down the stretch, Connelly shows her poise - she slides to her right, walks Brittany in, and tags her a sneaky lead right chop from a screened stance. Jen bends down and in with the shot, allowing Brit to miss over top: Connelly erupts out of the crouch a single, ringing hook to chin - sending Daniel blinking, stomping back on her heels. Daniel badly hurt, ducks and clinches up around Jen's pale ribs in the dying moments, rather than risking an exchange. Connelly steals a strong Daniel round with judicious power.
R3: Crisp, biting exchanges: this is brutal class midring. Brutal due to the intensity - savage hooks and crosses up top; digging, multiple-strike body taps downstairs. Classy due to the form on the punching, the balance, the nimble footwork at medium range and the upperbody movement of the competitors. Connelly more adept at blocking - she often catches Brittany's hook on the raised right wrist, then answers a hook before Daniel can recover - Jen usually the tastier puncher in trade. But Daniel's ferocity and committment can't be denied - late the round, tremendous body blows rock Connelly, driving her butt-in-ropes, forcing her to cover up. Brit shifts to her left, fighting off Jen's right shoulder - hoisting brutal right hands up into straining solar plexus as poor Connelly stoops forward. Jen momentarily debilitated - just LOOK at Brittany cramming up in there, turning over her back (right) foot with every rip, gritting her teeth with the effort of reefing righty into Jen's trembling midsection. Bell: Jen's slender legs trembling - Brittany pushes off the body of her foe with contempt, stomping back to her corner all angry-butt.
R4: The awful revenge of Jennifer Connelly. Rudely beaten last round, Jen comes out icy-eyed, punching into Brittany with cold-blooded fury. Daniel's head rocking back from short, muscular right hands or ringing hooks - Connelly slugging her girl straight back into ropes, then piling on as crowd goes wild. Jennifer RIPPING her punches, shifting weight on her feet as she adjusts balance and angle - now fighting off Brittany's left shoulder, now her right. Connelly's entire body rigid with committment - 100% dedicated to punching as fists bounce off Brittany's tanned hips and flanks; bite into firm blonde tummy meat; smudge across proud jug and club at stubborn jawlines. Daniel bobbing at the waist, but made to regret it as Jen cruelly swabs the offered back. Daniel lays back in the ropes, trying to keep her hands up - but the punching's too savage - Jen's getting through, beating her way past the guard, then taking what she wants. POOR DANIEL! Brittany writhing, twisting and turning, but there's nothing she can do - Jen's non-stop punching just a sheet of leather down the stretch, bashing away at all things Daniel and BRITTANY GOES DOWN! Brittany in tatters, blubbering/trembling on all fours, panting for breath. Connelly chest HEAVING, hands on her hips - she's pacing in the neutral corner, gulping for air like a track athlete after blasting across the finish line.
R5: Jen follows up the 10-8 fourth with a stalking, shutout fifth, really imposing her will now. Daniel sullen, lumping up, skittish as she skirts the perimeter, back always a couple of feet away from the ropes. Jen walking Brittany down - content to follow for the most part, then quick-stepping across to cut off the ring and burst at Brittany with sudden combinations. Daniel huddling up, cowering - soaking tic-tac-toe, then looking to clinch. Ref's breaks, Jen's patient stalking the basic look of the round, punctuated by calculated moments of brunette savagery as Connelly further reduces her foe.
R6: CLAMBAKE! Sensational midring mayhem - Jen going for the close-out, Brittany baring her teeth along with her soul and slugging with renewed vigour. They take turns backing each other up with ringing lefts and rights to chins. They lean in mouth-on-shoulder, hup-hup-hupping away to quivering abs and petulant jugs. They dart in and out, step around - each coaxing new life into weary limbs - slashing and stroking at each other in dizzying turns. Midway through, trade in right hands goes Brittany's way - Jen's back leg give out and JEN TAKES A KNEE! Connelly flustered, right knee touches down - BRITTANY SMOKES JEN AN EXTRA LEFT HOOK! Cheap clout on the face as poor Jen is down - ref moves right in and gives Brittany a savage finger-waggle in the face to remind her that hitting a downed girl is NOT cool. Shaky 8 Connelly - deep breaths through pursed lips as she steadies herself and HERE COMES DANIEL! Brittany POUNCING in: big right hand over the top claps Jen's head over the top rope, stunning her; RAMPAGING hup-hup to jug - Brittany feverishly cleaning up on Jen's proud rack, blonde standing up in the stirrups to chug away, and; RINGING BLASTS TO THE CHIN! Glorious, tidy right uppercuts, clipping-tight hooks swivel Jen's head around - her hands are drooping, her bodie's slumping into the ropes and JEN IS DOWN! Connelly panting on hands and knees, nose bleeding - Daniel screaming incoherently as ref bodies her back. Connelly able to pull herself up by the ropes but she's limp and swaying with hurt - another 8 count and DANIEL POURS BACK IN! Brittany unopposed - poor Jen limp and helpless in the strands - blonde palming brunette shoulders to set herself for whistling right hands paunch and teeth; hurtling left hooks across the chin. Brittany slugging herself off balance, wriggling into Jen - but Connelly too pasted to clinch - Brit just keeps a-slogging, giving it to Connelly with everything she's got and THE REF STEPS IN! Good Lord - TKO6 Brittany Daniel!
After: Connelly cuddled to safety by a concerned ref - brunette badly beaten, reeling in stupor as Brittany's cruel fists bludgeon out the stoppage. Daniel bawling in exultation - it's her biggest victory since dumping Charisma Carpenter a while back - blonde all jiggly-jumping amidst her supporters in the ring. Connelly rickety to her stool, sitting down and burying her face in her taped hands to absorb the loss. Already, speculation is that Jen came in light to the fight, overtraining and leaving her stamina in the gym - she just couldn't bear up to Brittany's punching tonight.
