Before: "When Jenny broke into this sport, I gave her a bad beating," Cat recalls. "I'd like to do that again to her - really turn her back hard. It's nothing personal against Jenny - she's a great competitor, a great sportswoman - but trouncing her would go a long way to convincing people that I've still got a lot left. And, to be honest, Jenny and I have had words over the last year - she's gotten in my face a couple of times, and that has to be answered. It's no secret that it's been a challenging year for me - I'd like to end it on a high note. That means a low note for Jenny." O'Dell travelling the globe, dabbling in promotion, vexing Kiana, fighting dangerous no-names - but PPV was and always will be her home away from the beach. "I'm not one of the critics who thinks Cat's shot," O'Dell says at the podium. "That said, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be thrilled to be the one to force her out. I know Taylor was hoping for that particular distinction, and a lot of us are thinking about it these days. When fans look back and see that I retired Debbe Dunning and Cat Bell? Jenny doubling up the jab as she stoops to nag Cat's tummy: Bell spearing the jab, stepping in with it then gouging at Jenny's sternum or breasts with a short hook off it. Splendid, professional stuff: neither lass hurried. Bell's jab a stiff, nasty poke, punishing O'Dell's upperchest and brows; O'Dell's jab designed to lure Cat's guard down so Jenny's snappy double-hook has a chance up top. O'Dell pounds a thudding right to Cat's breasts late: Cat answers with a carving right uppercut/left hook as both vixens take their shots late.

R2: Similar stuff - Cat economical, sliding around in strong, wide stance, pounding Jenny jabs, dipping and hooking off 'em to dig at Jenny's midsection and breasts. Jenny sidestepping, jabbing at Cat's tummy, looking to come in on angles: blonde curving in, negotiating Bell's stern poke to rip combos at closer ranges. Nip-tuck action - both women scoring and defending well: down the stretch, Jenny lights it up. Jen in a tightly closed stance, hooks Cat's tummy off the front foot; shifts weight to back (right) foot to roll the hook up top - Bell's chin checked. Cat covering up earmuff, stepping in fence post holes: Jenny tears at her body a wide right roundhouse, then another pair of hooks ticketed for Cat's breasts. Bell reaches to clinch, badly shaken at the bell.

R3: Cat regroups, sticks with fundamentals to manage Jenny midring. O'Dell looking to penetrate, running into Cat's withering jab: smarting poke repels Jenny again and again. Bell stepping in off the jab, dipping her left shoulder and gouging hooks to Jenny's 'plexus and jugs: O'Dell grimacing, forced onto her heels and Cat starts to take canvas. 2 minute mark, shelling jabs have Jenny crossing her arms, bobbing to slip: Cat leans in a clanging right to chin, startling her blonde.

R4: Similar stuff - Cat with jab supremacy, walking O'Dell down patiently: Jenny parrying shots, moving her head, circling around and looking for openings. O'Dell jabbing-with, but coming in second: Bell pounding at blonde eyebrows and breasts, really shelling Jenny. O'Dell able to edge inside and snap off that double hook, but Cat tying up effectively, keeps Jenny snuggled for ref's breaks. Final minute - Cat's adding in an ominous, slanting long right to the body: big, spanking impact against bronzed blonde torso has Jenny backing off in pain.

R5: Similar stuff - Jenny landing, but paying a heavy price as Cat's shattering jab dominates the play. Bell complementing strategic poke with those digging, jagged short-hooks to Jenny's midriff; a clouting, short-arm hook across jug, and; long right hands straight, shafting to torso, splashing off Jenny's body. O'Dell grimacing: Cat's extending on punches, throwing very hard into Jenny, and when O'Dell answers, Bell's tying up for breaks.

R6: Jenny jabbing-with, trading poke to jug with Cat: Jenny countering Cat's jab, slashing a buggy-whip right to Bell's ribs underneath extended brunette left. Bell's rhythm finally disrupted - Jenny slowly gaining initiative, starting to beat Cat to punches. Midway through, Jenny sweeps the right roundhouse to Cat's ribs; hooks Cat's breasts; doubles up to hook Cat's mouth and BELL GOES DOWN! Cat rung up, clipped hard by the chin-hook and dropped to her buttocks: she's blinking, sitting up stunned as Jenny stalks past. Bell beats the count, rallies nicely: final minute a bitter struggle as Jenny presses the issue at the apron; Bell leaning in and digging toe-to-toe. Round ends with the girls heads and gloves all close together as vixens take turns dipping and ripping uppercuts and hooks shoulder to shoulder.

R7: Cat rallies - regrouping behind that trusty jab. Jenny shelled in the first minute - weight on her right foot, grumpy as poke detonates against her face and upperchest. Bell slide-steppin' left, dragging her front foot - she's managing distance beautifully, pounding at Jenny, turning her. Cat continuing to score with that jagged little hook off the jab - vicious rips off the front foot, Bell dipping her lead body down to get up and into Jenny. O'Dell's breasts, stomach, chin all fielding stern clout: Bell leaning in and out methodically, battering Jenny into stupor through 7.

R8: Jenny rallies, turns puncher. O'Dell forward behind strong roundhouse-rights to Cat's ribcage, beating the breath from Bell: Jenny able to pile into Cat's chest, back her up and work on her this round. Jenny rotating her shoulders, fighting off Cat's chest - good thumping body blows banged home as groaning Bell reaches to clinch. Jenny rough with Cat here, shoulder-butting her mouth to disengage and keep hands-free: ref holding back as Jenny's able to stay busy. Bell forced to fight off the ropes - punching back out of her tight earmuff with short, clipping right or left uppercuts: Jenny suppressing her brunette, deliberately pounding on Bell's biceps Taylor-Cole style to start taking away Cat's offensive ability. Break: they're still slammin' - ref has to push seething beauties apart.

R9: Jenny lands a looping overhand right to Cat's jaw, piles into her, headbutts her under the left eye as Bell is pancaked to ropes. Jenny pushes Cat off, pounds a pair of rude right hands to tummy, then hooks those jugs, turning her left shoulder into Bell on follow-through, neatly denying the clinch. Robust rolling combination to Cat's tummy doubles her up: Bell's hurt, reaching round Jenny's back, looking to slow this assault. Jenny puuuushing Cat back, then hooking her tummy, hooking her tummy - wrestling with Bell as brunette desperately tries to clinch. Again and again - it's Jenny refusing clinch, pouring herself at Cat: Bell mouthbreathing, eyelashes fluttering as Jenny's assault becomes irresistible. Second minute a brutal lesson in blonde determination: Jenny squared up, black-clad buttocks humming as she pounds Cat's midsection, works up-torso to ring those jugs and check that chin. Bell's head toggling viciously back and forth as Jenny finds the mark: O'Dell bodying up, pancaking Cat, getting elbows up to push Cat's throat and chest to reset. On and on - Jenny snarling, in a world of her own - stroking and strapping unacceptable punishment onto Cat Bell. Cat growing limp, slouching forward, body shuddering from rib-thumping lung-busters - jugs a-jumping - eyes dimming. Crowd screaming: it's another terrible, unnecessary hammering for Bell as she loosens, tilting forward into heartless Jenny O'Dell punching. Ref FINALLY moves in - cradling a blinking Catherine to the ropes: Bell blubbering into woozy tears as it dawns on her she's been stopped again. TKO9 Jenny O'Dell.

After: Triumph and heartache. Jenny overcoming a strong Bell start to relentlessly reel in and break down her brunette. Cat showing no ill effects post-Cole, but she simply couldn't stay with Jenny: once the blonde got on track, she marched to victory. "It's huge," Jenny beams, face puffy and sore from Bell's still-potent jabs. "She's still very strong, very sharp - at one point, my trainer told me I was losing and that I had to up the tempo on her - and he was right. I'm not going to kid you - breaking Catherine Bell down is a thrill, a real thrill and accomplishment. I'm going to savour this win - I couldn't have asked for a better fight from her tonight." Jenny, Jenny - you really poured it to her at the end - was that 'extra' punishment in answer to Cat's own excessive work against other girls in the past? "I poured it to her because she was still standing," Jenny says, all business. "She'll have to tell you if you it was 'extra' or not."
