Lauren Graham is the epitome of a steadfast gatekeeper. Jessica Biel is the sine qua non of a dominant celebrity fighter in her prime. You'd expect the latter to beat the former under normal circumstances, but when Jessica boldly and publicly predicted KO2 over Graham, Lauren bristled at the insult. "I just gave Charlize Theron and Tricia Helfer all they could handle," an indignant Lauren would say in press conferences. "If Jessica Biel takes me out in two - I will quit boxing. There, how's THAT for a sound byte?"

Early on, Biel did her damndest to make her prediction a reality. Attacking behind a closed stance, bending at the waist and giving Graham bizarre angles - the agile, muscular Biel had her way with the rigid, upright veteran - landing circus punches hip to head and shelling the brunette all around the ring. Biel put Graham wobbly butt with a dazzling right/left combo on the chin in the second minute, ringing Lauren up and leaving her staring. And down the stretch, another blistering Biel right/left dropped Graham to her back at the ropes - bringing the crowd (most of whom had heavily bet the under) to it's collective feet. Graham would shake off the disaster and struggle up tottering at the bell - but she was clearly hurt, in awe of her opponent's handspeed and thunderclap power.

The blitz continued in the second - Biel's crouching, explosive delivery in combination riddling the stiff Graham defence, and once again, Jess had Graham staggering from tick-tock punching on the chin. Biel leapt and heaved power from outside, but towards the midway point, Jess showed she could crowd a tall vixen and punish her midsection on the inside as well, leaving Graham breathless and sagging in the ropes. At the bell, a weary Graham managed a wan smile, taunting Biel and drawing a lethal glare from the former champ. Graham's impertinence would garner her four more straight rounds of uptempo beatdown, but as she had in previous big-name match ups: Lauren Graham proved resolute under duress.

Graham won her first round in the seventh, taking over as an arm weary Biel looked to clinch and take a breather.

Graham won the 8th more definitively, banging away with a stalking jab and scoring to Jessica's face as Biel hung back on her right foot.

In the ninth, Graham jabbed Biel to ropes and got work done - beating Jessi's curvy shoulders and biceps numb, digging up into her firm ribcage and strapping those thick abs some tasty swinging licks. It was vintage Graham shove-and-slug and it put a sullen look of resentment on Biel's face at the bell.

And in the tenth, Lauren Graham proved why she's nobody's punk. With Biel obviously dispirited and lounging on the ropes - Lauren simply stepped-to, moved her hands and outworked her lauded opponent toe-to-toe. Jessica bent at the waist and rolled punches, slipping and twisting effectively enough, occasionally offering back snappy hooks to Graham's pale waist - but Graham's chippy, honest efforts would not be denied. Scrabbling away on Biel, pinning her down at the ropes, Lauren took her fourth straight round from the World's Sexiest Woman and at the bell - Graham chested up and let her foe hear all about it.

Officials restored order as the girls pushed and cursed at one another. Biel won a handy decision by a comfortable margin, but once again: Lauren Graham had served notice that she was a 10 round fighter who could not be dismissed. "She did everything she could to stop me," a badly lumped up and weary Graham said in the aftermath, "but look who was beating who's ass at the end! Me on her, baby, me on her!"
