Gillian got herself into respectable shape for this one—tummy still pudging against her waistband some, but perfectly acceptable—but the reflexes, skills and instincts she had one used to carve out a championship were sorely lacking. She might want to review her comeback management team: Allison Mack wasn’t a good way to “ease: back into contention.

A wide-eyed, energetic Allison Mack would pound a steady stream of lea straight-right hands to Gillian’s face, demoralizing and breaking down the redhead with methodical glee. Long time Mack fans would note Allison’s springy footwork as she bounded back from Anderson’s tired receipts, then bopped about, the n drilled the right straight n’strong—a different look for Ali as she experimented on outgunned comp. Long time Anderson fans would wince at the sight of Gillian on her feels, wobbling around, reacting late and seemingly unable to stop Mack’s penetrative right hand. Could have been worse: Mack could have gone to the body more.
